29/06/2025: I randomly chose here to have Polpo, and I'm so happy with my choice. It's a petit lovely scilian riatorante with quality service. The polpo was well cooked but not too much, and I liked the bruschette. I was told it'd be too much yet it was just good!

Each plate was a work of art, as beautiful as it was delicious, showcasing local produce enhanced by masterful technique. 06/06/2025: I only came to Il Tiranno Caportigia Restaurant for the breakfast buffet, but it was excellent and high quality. They had a huge range of options, including including eggs, pancakes, waffles, meats/cheeses, pastries, fruit, and so much more. I ate so much and really enjoyed my meal. The waiter was also very friendly and attentive. I could tell this restaurant is higher-end and a great place to dine.

16/07/2025: At this pizzeria, the saying "looks can be deceiving" is perfectly true. I urge future customers to ignore the appearance of the place and try the delicious pizzas and pizzoli. The pizza chef/owner/waiter is a wonderful host and a great expert on ancient Sicilian grains. No digestive issues. The wait time may be a bit slow, but it's worth it.

05/07/2025: From the entrance you can feel love, passion and good food here! Friendly Mr. Marcelo who is a showcase and a fantastic person welcomes guests with a smile and heart. Delicious food, perfect pizza and we definitely recommend this place to everyone!!!!!!!

05/07/2025: Very nice location, far from the noise but well connected to the nearest beaches and lidos. Very kind and helpful staff and management. Organic cuisine and good food. Award-winning breakfast. Large, very clean pool. Bicycles on loan. Space to walk at any time. Outdoor and indoor gym equipment. And lots of patience with the guests. We also have a very sweet Labrador that we couldn't leave alone, and she was welcomed with us into the room. This is called hospitality.

22/06/2025: During our week in Ortigia, we came here every day (sometimes several times a day). From breakfast to the delicious aperitif, you feel very well looked after. You also always get a few small snacks, which were very tasty. The friendliness and attentiveness of the staff deserves special mention. They weren't above sharing jokes and a few friendly remarks, even though the hotel is very busy. Simply fantastic!

08/07/2025: Food very good, but service very pushy/assertive on diners ordering most expensive items. I felt like we were over-charged. We were 11 in total. We ordered a 25th wedding anniversary cake only to find that it cost €120!! soooo expensive considering that this was 20% of our total bill!! They should have told us how much it would cost/we should have asked but expected something much simpler…apparently high end of the cost/kilo range. Our hotel no longer recommends the restaurant since its guests had similar issues to our own.

05/07/2025: This is one of the rare restaurants where you enter as a client and you depart as friend. Food is excellent and reasonable prized. We recommend the whole seabass in the salt crust. But best is just talk to Guiseppe and he will quickly recommend something which is to your liking. We were so delighted with this restaurant and the team who runs the place, we returned a second time. We can truly recommend this hidden germ of a restaurant located in a quiet alley, not on one of the hectic main roads. Thank you Guiseppe and Team for two wonderful dinners.

24/06/2025: First time at Sosta Cafe was lovely. I had a cappuccino and a croissant. The coffee has great flavor and the croissant was excellent! I loved sitting outside and enjoying breakfast.

20/06/2025: I just stopped here for the first time, and I will be coming back! My iced americano was delicious and much needed for my busy workday. The decor and atmosphere were delightful and the staff were so friendly. I can't wait to revisit!

The cuisine truly deserves top marks. I savored the freshest seafood dishes, presented with care and creativity. I highly recommend the "round of appetizers," which allows you to sample the day's best dishes, and the mixed grilled fish, simple yet bursting with flavor. The first courses—such as the seafood linguine and the sea urchin linguine—are also exquisite, with generous portions and top-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is modern, elegant, and refined, without being ostentatious. The evening was even more enjoyable thanks to an excellent wine list that perfectly complements the dishes. The quality/price ratio is balanced: for the quality offered, the bill is more than fair. I highly recommend the restaurant to both seafood lovers and those seeking refined cuisine in an elegant yet welcoming atmosphere. I will certainly return and recommend it to anyone who wants to discover the best of seafood cuisine in Avola.

21/07/2025: We were there on Saturday, July 19th. I can say that it is a splendid restaurant with highly professional and helpful service, and a great deal of courtesy and friendliness. The dishes offered, such as the 40 euro fixed menu, are worth much more; all the food is extremely fresh. I would also like to point out that the Prow is located in the epic place where the Sicels landed in 1270 BC and gave Sicily its name. The owner is professional and incredibly friendly. We will be back next month; the satisfaction was immense. Thank you ♥️♥️
