26/08/2025: I've been going there for about 40 years. It's a high-end pastry shop, deli, and ice cream parlor. For those who want to sit down, there's a separate room from the bar. There's also a well-stocked tobacconist.
19/05/2025: Excellent food, Sicilian specialties of all kinds. Conveniently located near the university. Recommended for a quick but satisfying lunch.

26/07/2025: Recommended by locals, it lived up to expectations. Good takeout, lasagna, and rotisserie chicken got top marks. But nothing compares to the arancini, simply sublime. The best I've had in I can't remember how long. Congratulations!

07/10/2025: We had a mixed platter, which was delicious, but unfortunately, it came with too little bread. We had to wait a while to order, even though the bar was almost empty, and ended up with a larger platter than we ordered. We had to pay more accordingly. The worst part, though, was the plastic cutlery! Please leave it out and use proper cutlery.
22/09/2025: Doesn’t even warrant one star. Rude staff and terrible service. Not worth the stop, move on to a nicer place that appreciates your business

17/09/2025: A place where I often eat for lunch because my office is not far away... good and plentiful food, nice choice of second courses and salads that are very good for you, the only flaw is the crowd and the table service during peak hours the bar fills up completely with people working and having lunch break there, the owner is very kind however and makes excellent sandwiches when I have little time and have to rush... I recommend it, worth trying!

08/10/2025: When a customer asks you if the pizza by the slice is fresh and you say yes, have the honesty and care to tell the truth, given that the pizza was from the day before.
04/10/2025: A simple little bakery that also offers pasta dishes and similar items. Everything so far has been delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Palermo. The arancini are divine.

11/10/2025: I'm giving it 1 star because I can't give it 0. We reserved a table inside the restaurant, but upon arrival, we were assigned a table facing the entrance door (uncomfortable because it was getting fresh air and we were with a little girl who has a respiratory virus; people kept passing by our table).
We asked to change tables, since almost all the tables in the area where we were sitting were empty, and the staff was very unapproachable and wouldn't let us change tables.
Terrible service.
07/10/2025: A lovely place in a beautiful village. I'll sum it up in a few words: the worst pizza in 60 years of existence, in every respect, to be avoided, and the best pork shank with vegetables I've ever tasted in the aforementioned 60 years. I hope they revisit the pizzeria side of things because the place, the staff, and the restaurant definitely deserve it.

29/11/2025: Five of us ordered five burgers, all undercooked; the inside was red and completely raw. From what I'm told, this is how they cook burgers. Serving undercooked burgers can be dangerous because the ground meat can contain bacteria like E. coli and Salmonella, which are spread during the grinding process. Unlike a whole steak, where bacteria are only on the surface, burgers can also be contaminated inside. Undercooking doesn't kill these microorganisms, creating a risk of foodborne illness.
Overall, the burger was unpretentious.
I also didn't appreciate the fact that as soon as I received the bill, I immediately got up to pay, and when I returned, they had already cleared the table while the other diners were still seated.
29/11/2025: The burger arrived raw. When we pointed this out, we were told, "That's how they make these." Perhaps the restaurant owners should be aware that burgers can't be served rare like steaks, and that they risk sending someone to the hospital. Absolutely not recommended.

23/09/2025: We sat in a quit empty place but even though I speak Italian fluent and twice tried to get the waitress attention she complety ignored our company. The second time she instead smalltalked about where her parents came from with some other guests and just past us by.
So don't bother go there, just walk about 75 meters away to a small but charming street nearby where you won't be ignored at the bars and restaurants.
13/09/2025: A nice place to relax after visiting all these beautiful Palermo cathedrals and monasteries. Otherwise — quite a basic place but with friendly staff. The bellini was refreshing!

06/06/2025: Unfortunately my experience was not positive. The ice cream had a strange consistency, almost watery, and the flavors were not very defined, almost tasteless. I was also not convinced by the brioche: dry, not very fragrant and it seemed not to be from the day. With all the quality ice cream shops in the area, I definitely expected more seeing the positive reviews. I don't think I'll be back.
