Bar La Cassatella In Palermo

Very kind gentleman and warm cassatella. Very good.

The waitress was friendly and helpful. We ordered both the ricotta and pistachio Nutella cassatelle. In a word: sublime. The ricotta ones are lighter, so we immediately ordered a second. A splendid gem, a little unremarkable from the outside, but packed with substance.

A bar along the busy Via Regione Siciliana, open 24 hours a day. We had pizzas and a baked calzone... which weren't bad, but not the best I've ever had. The gentleman who served us was very friendly and kind... the place is stuck in the '80s, and the prices are quite old-fashioned, in the sense that they're low!
