My brother made a reservation over the phone, requesting a panoramic table, which was promptly accommodated. Since there's no online reservation service, which I highly recommend to the owners, I suggest you book early or well in advance, given the large influx of diners. Alternatively, if you go without a reservation, you can ask the reception staff to put you on a waiting list. The service is punctual, courteous, and efficient; we tried several dishes, all of which were very good. It's definitely a food and wine experience not to be missed. Besides the online reservation service (which I think would also increase the number of foreigners), my other suggestion to the owners would be to provide a multilingual digital menu. That said, the location is wonderful, and the food is incredibly fresh and plentiful. In my humble opinion, it's one of the best restaurants in the area. Don't miss the opportunity to experience this gem of the Sicilian food and wine scene.

Historic pizzeria in Porticello. Fantastic view of the bay. Outdoor dining is available in the summer. Very good pizza, but could be even better. Service is typical of a pizzeria, but very attentive (though not the fastest). Prices are high. Be warned, they don't take reservations (which is very strange in 2026).

Dinner for four... The hot appetizer and mussel soup were very good. We especially loved the panelle. Then pizza for all four of us... made with the traditional recipe, using fresh, quality ingredients. Breathtaking view and perfect dining room service from the guys! Great, kind, and helpful. I go back often, what can I say, fantastic pizza, cooked just right, top-quality toppings, friendly, helpful and professional owners and staff, you have to try the porcini mushroom pizza.

A truly extraordinary experience at the Solunto Bay View Restaurant. The location is simply spectacular: a breathtaking view of the sea makes every lunch or dinner a special moment, especially at sunset. The real surprise was the seafood couscous, prepared with great care and using the freshest ingredients. Rich in flavor, balanced, and fragrant, it is undoubtedly one of the best I've ever eaten, perhaps the best ever. The service was courteous and professional, always attentive to the guests' needs without being intrusive. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, perfect for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. A place that combines top-notch cuisine, enchanting views, and Sicilian hospitality.
