We ordered the flag fish roll, the seared tuna with sweet and sour onions, and the sea bream au gratin with potatoes. Before leaving, we'll definitely be back to try the other options.

29/08/2025: I went to the restaurant in the evening with my grandmother, and we had a wonderful time. I've never eaten such tender octopus; it melted on the tongue 😍 I'll be back the next time I'm there!

14/06/2025: Posto tipico ed artigianale. Abbiamo preso graffe, crostate e genovese calda. Ci hanno proposto anche un caffè. Molto gentili!!!

10/08/2025: As always, the dough was perfect this evening. I discovered this pizzeria because they make gluten-free pizzas. They're very careful about cross-contamination, and my daughter-in-law has never had a bad experience there. The best pizzeria in Messina.

07/08/2025: The pizza is fantastic! The dough is soft and light, the ingredients delicious, and the service extremely friendly. We'd been here before, passing through Messina, and finding ourselves here again for a night, we decided to return. The interior ambiance on the first floor is very pleasant, and in the summer you can also sit outside. It's worth it; come and you won't be disappointed.

We have nothing but kind words for this family business, where the owner will serve you with a big smile and warmth. This time, our third time back, we ordered beers for drinks, and for lunch: shrimp tartar, smoked salmon salad, and a chicken panini... Everything, absolutely everything, amazing!!! We will definitely keep coming back as many times as we come to Catania. Thanks for everything 💙

03/08/2025: This small but exquisite and extremely authentic Sicilian bistro (PierdeCat Sicilian Bistrò) is definitely worth a visit! Every summer when we spend our vacation in Taormina, it's now a must for us to stop by this fantastic bistro several times during our stay. (The freshly prepared arancini and the herb-flavored tomato salad are simply divine!) We're already looking forward to hopefully returning to Piero's again soon.

31/07/2025: We came for lunch and we were not disappointed. The food was incredible, especially the arancini. Hospitality was amazing and they made us feel extremely welcomed. They were clearly very passionate about their food and so they should be, it was excellent. If you are staying in Castelmola or the surrounding areas, I would definitely recommend visiting the town and eating here.

18/08/2025: We booked at this restaurant and were served by very kind and helpful staff. The food was excellent, the fish was fresh, and the atmosphere was very clean and well-kept. Gluten-free? Not a problem. The hostess made us feel right at home right away. Highly recommended.

06/07/2025: Tuvimos una velada increíble en Vineria Modì: una de las mejores comidas que hemos tenido, sin lugar a dudas. Desde el momento en que llegamos, la experiencia se sintió personal y acogedora. Daniele nos saludó por nuestro nombre y marcó el tono con su presencia tranquila y segura. Explicó cada plato con el detalle justo para hacerlo interesante, sin exagerar nunca. La comida fue excepcional: creativa, bellamente presentada y llena de sabor. El plato de cordero en particular fue inolvidable, perfectamente cocinado y lleno de profundidad. Cada plato parecía cuidadosamente pensado, tanto en sabor como en diseño. También optamos por el maridaje de vinos y me alegro mucho de haberlo hecho. Paolo, el sumiller, se tomó el tiempo de preguntarnos qué nos gustaba antes de elegir nuestros vinos. Cada pareja parecía hecha a medida y bien pensada, y su conocimiento era genuinamente impresionante sin llegar a ser abrumador. Para colmo, tuvimos la oportunidad de charlar con la jefa de cocina, Dalila, después de nuestra comida. Ella fue muy amable y claramente apasionada por su oficio; fue una manera encantadora de terminar la velada. Si estás visitando Taormina y quieres una comida especial y memorable, este es el lugar. Todo en él parecía genuino y perfectamente ejecutado.

24/08/2025: Back to the Past Pasticceria, a family-run restaurant with a local feel. Historic since 1945, with classic steps and marble, it's a tearoom style. All the pastries, the brioche, the gelato, the cannoli, the baba rum, are delicious, and the staff is very friendly. They gave us some mandorla/marzipan pastry and orange cookies, which are famous, a delight. We wish we'd bought more. ❤️
