03/05/2026: A unique, charming, simple, and calm place, yet so Sicilian! A warm, friendly, and genuine welcome... a smile guaranteed! Refined local cuisine; wonderful ingredients a delight... Highly recommended without hesitation and without reservation!

28/04/2026: The restaurant is rather small, with little space between tables, making the experience a bit uncomfortable and noisy. Unfortunately, the service was subpar: long waits and questionable prioritization, as a table that arrived after us (and clearly on good terms with the restaurant staff) was served first, despite having ordered the same dishes. That said, the food is definitely the highlight: very good, especially the tuna with sweet and sour onions and the swordfish meatballs, which were truly delicious. Another plus is the price, which is certainly "fair." Overall, a mixed experience: good food and fair prices, but service could be improved. Final rating: 3/5.

05/05/2026: We had a truly wonderful lunch at Restaurant Roma in Augusta, Sicily. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome and expert advice on our menu choices. The service was particularly noteworthy: extremely flexible, attentive, and proactive, without being intrusive. We felt completely at ease. The restaurant's ambiance is also very pleasant – stylish, relaxed, and just right for enjoying a lovely evening. Overall, a definite recommendation – we will gladly return!

02/05/2026: A charming restaurant in the historic center of Augusta. A fairly sophisticated menu: a revisited tradition. A special mention for the cannoli with ricotta cream: superb! The kindness, helpfulness, and professionalism of the staff make this a place where you can fully enjoy the food and the ambiance. Not many seats inside and few outside (season permitting). Reservations are recommended.

Highly recommended for an aperitif while watching a breathtaking sunset or for a top-notch dinner. As the sun sets, you can dine while admiring the moon, and for those with a keen eye, you can even see the planets Jupiter and Venus, shining like two stars. 25/12/2025: A charming place with a family atmosphere. We arrived on Christmas Day, and Mrs. Ewa welcomed us right into her home. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and for dessert, we also tried the excellent homemade cheesecake and poppy seed cake. We highly recommend it and send our best regards!

23/11/2025: So this is a home kitchen, we stopped here on our way back from Cavagrande and I am so happy we did. It was after 7pm, so we were the only ones and their 4 super friendly dogs ❤️ some selection of pasta, Sicilian foods and fishes, the old guy - probably the owner who lives there - was super kind. There are pigs in the garden, local gatto, a wonderful experience to close our wonderful day. I had tagliatelle with ragu and my girlfriend gnocchi with mushroom, they were both delicious and heartwarming like from home.

04/05/2026: This is, without a doubt my favorite restaurant. Not only in Sicily, but in Europe. The combination of taste, friendlyness and character is what it makes it so special. (The old location, too, when you used to sit on the charming market of Ortigia - I cannot wait to see the new place!). First time here, we came round lunchtime without Reservation. They made room for us and the feast began: ceviche, tartar and fritti di Mare - all perfect and delicious! A true seafood treat! On repeated ocasions I ate the monk fish ragout and grilled whole fish and tartare again and again. Wine: Two of their wine suggestions became highlight of my personal wine cellar, both are Grillo (which, of course go well with fish). And both come with a recall of Ortigia market even if I am 1000 miles away. La Lisca is magic to me.

01/03/2026: A Sunday lunch with friends, nostalgic for Sunday meatballs in tomato sauce and the bruschetta of the day (trust the chef), all topped off with an exquisite limoncello. Highly recommended, and I'll be back to try the "acqua u linzolu" pasta and the grilled octopus.
