22/11/2025: our dinner here was a highlight of our trip. the menu rotates every few days, and we felt especially lucky to have some amazing prawn pasta. Danielle was the PERFECT host, very friendly with lots of recommendations. you typically need a reservation, but we came quite early as a party of 2 and were able to be seated.

20/11/2025: A very well-maintained restaurant in the city center, with friendly and helpful staff. We tried the pan-fried chard, the busiate pasta with shrimp and pistachios, and a classic cassatina. Everything was delicious.

21/11/2025: Had the pleasure of dining at Sal8 while in Agrigento, and it genuinely impressed us. The atmosphere blended casual and upscale in the best way, and the service was excellent — warm and attentive — with a small but well-curated menu. We ordered the house-made ricotta ravioli with a buttery, creamy pistachio and almond Parmesan pesto, and it was outstanding — perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. We also enjoyed the pasta with clams, the true treasure of the sea — unforgettable in every way. Overall, a memorable dining experience and absolutely worth a return visit. Saluti

06/11/2025: Ristorante Manna Noto, discovered on our last day, was easily one of the best dining experiences of our entire Sicilian vacation. It is a true hidden gem, tucked away just a short drive from our hotel (only 9 minutes!), nestled beautifully among olive and mandarin fields. Ambiance and Hospitality: As soon as we drove in, the setting was stunning; the outdoor courtyard was beautiful, and the interior was the perfect blend of rustic and stylish. We were greeted warmly at the door and immediately felt like we were entering someone's home rather than a restaurant. The waiters were incredibly friendly, professional, and natural. We even chatted and laughed together! They provided personal, thoughtful recommendations for both wine and food and genuinely did not try to upsell us on the most expensive items. The Exceptional Food: The menu is wonderfully diverse, offering excellent choices of antipasti, pasta (including gnocchi), fish, meat, and plenty of vegetarian options. What sets Manna apart is that the menu included delicious dishes not only from Sicily but also from other regions of Italy—my husband loved his special of Tuscan Beef Stew. I ordered the superb Caponata and Gnocchi, and my daughter enjoyed the Pasta with Lamb Ragu. Every course, from the antipasti to the mains, was exceptionally delicious. A special shout-out must go to the bread: it was the best I've had in Italy—fresh and perfectly made of sourdough! The desserts, with their intense taste of local fruits, were also fantastic. And the Arancina—the flavor was so incredibly intense it lingered for hours. Despite having a close-to-fine-dining, slightly poshy ambiance, the staff's warmth and natural manner made us feel completely at ease and comfortable. If you are anywhere near Noto, you must make a reservation to eat here. You will not regret it!

18/11/2025: A typical trattoria where you can experience the love for Sicilian cuisine and tradition from the moment you arrive. The place is small, and I highly recommend booking because it's impossible to find a table without a reservation. The food is delicious, from the generous appetizers to a variety of first and second courses, prepared with authentic, high-quality ingredients. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable, especially Beatrice, a fantastic woman both personally and professionally. She explained each dish clearly and concisely, without taking anything away from the other staff. The place is clean and tidy, without being overbearing. 18/11/2025: Review – Sapori Siciliani Grill We visited Sapori Siciliani Grill and had a very interesting experience. I had requested well-done meat, but the staff refused to cook it that way, explaining that cooking it too long would ruin the quality and tenderness of the meat. I was initially a bit skeptical, as we don't usually eat meat that's too pink. In the end, I decided to trust their advice and opted for medium rare. I must admit, they were right: the meat arrived perfectly cooked, tender, and very tasty, truly well-prepared. The appetizers were also excellent, carefully prepared and rich in flavor, which complemented the meal wonderfully. Despite the initial surprise regarding the cooking, the experience was more than positive. I recommend this restaurant for the quality of the food and the expertise of the staff.
