Beautiful place so convenient, the most beautiful food and Simone was amazing! So kind, so attentive, never had service like it in Sicily. So glad I was staying in the hotel next door so that I could have such a beautiful experience. We were a party of 4, ranging in age from 28 - 82 and we were all so happy with our evening. Simone was so attentive and kind, worth visiting just for him.
Highly recommend!! X

04/07/2026: I rarely leave reviews, but this restaurant truly deserves it. Excellent service, starting with the tasting of the latest-pressed local EVO oil. The presentation of the wines and dishes was professional. The fish was incredibly fresh and the dishes were generous. To conclude, I (finally) tried the authentic Sicilian cannoli, made with ONLY ricotta and topped with pistachios and almonds.

Overrated, prices a bit high with 18€ for a drink and a pasta portion, but I was… decent.

05/07/2026: We had a "baciata in teglia" (a baked pizza), which was delicious: soft dough, crispy lettuce, and flavorful chicken. Truly top-notch. The place is quiet, and the waiters are friendly and very kind.
10/06/2026: A wonderful discovery! We arrived at 9:30 pm in the small square in front of the church and were warmly welcomed by the waiters, who spoke perfect English and were very attentive. The food was excellent; I highly recommend it!

15/07/2026: We chose "La Solitaria" for our 25th anniversary because we were confident in the quality of its dishes and the freshness of its fish. This was complemented by the great professionalism and helpfulness of Salvo, Vera, and the entire staff, who, with care and attention, accommodated our every wish.
The result was a perfect evening with the splendid setting of the timpa and on a wonderful lawn, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment of our celebration.

09/05/2026: We ate here twice on our stay. Very authentically Sicilian family run restaurant. The meals were delicious, the service exemplary and much care was taken for the food. They also have a great wine list. Book early. The home made pistachio tiramasu and lemon tart were fabulous.

05/07/2026: Exceptional cuisine. We were referred to this delicatessen by the residents of Castellammare del Golfo, who frequent it for its excellent traditional cuisine.
Their seafood couscous is delicate and flavorful, served with a hot broth that they deliver separately.
Everything is so good, it's hard to choose what to try! Congratulations! 💯
