26/10/2025: Best ice cream ever. Highly recommended. Chocolate with rum – sensational, goat's ricotta with honey, or salted caramel – every ice cream flavor we tried was incredibly delicious. Three scoops for €4.50. If you're in the area, this is the best gelateria I know.

06/11/2025: A beautiful restaurant with delicious food, and the staff are excellent at explaining things and making recommendations. The only thing the service could improve is this: We ordered a low-priced wine that wasn't available. The alternative wine offered was almost twice as expensive; perhaps this could have been mentioned. However, it tasted good, and that's what matters most.

01/03/2026: On a romantic family weekend, we went to this restaurant, which was a wonderful discovery! We even ordered the lunch menu and were very pleased! Typical Sardinian cuisine, with such friendly staff that we'll definitely be back when we return to Alghero! 01/03/2026: When we got to this restaurant, we found ourselves up a flight of stairs that weren't easy to climb. After a while, they helped us, and it was fine. Immediately afterward, the super polite and good girl took our order, and from there, after placing the order, we heard her say. But was that all they ordered? Let's assume everyone orders what they want, since we had a late breakfast. We also didn't like the pasta at all. I didn't want to say anything at the time, for the sake of peace, but there are definitely less starred restaurants with much better food. Never again. P.S. (Treat the dining room staff well, because she would go up and down without stopping on her own. And it's not like if she's talking to me and there are dishes in the pass, she has to drop everything to carry the dishes.)

06/02/2026: I've been going to Poppy's for years, and I can honestly say it's my favorite gourmet pizzeria (and I've tried many). You don't just go to Poppy's for pizza; it's a truly extraordinary culinary experience, one of those unforgettable ones. The attention to detail is absolute, the flavors are unique, and the products have a quality that can't be explained in words. As if that weren't enough, the staff is wonderful, the place is very cute and well-kept; it's impossible to find a flaw. ❤️

19/01/2026: Gambero Rosso 2-slice pizzeria. Very friendly staff, with a helpful and courteous waitress. There were four of us and we ordered four pizzas (truffle, San Salvatore, cinghialotta, vegan), one buffalo burrata, four beers, three desserts (one Atto Secondo Mango and two Como una Cuba), two rum shots, one still water, and one coffee. Bill: €136.20 (€34 each). Atto Secondo Mango: White chocolate egg with mango filling. Como una Cuba: Chocolate cigar, coated in bitter cocoa and filled with tiramisu cream. It arrives at the table under a smoked glass dome, accompanied by a rum shot. Dipping it in rum faithfully reproduces the experience of a real cigar. Special mention for the truffle and the Como una Cuba. Passed.

The only downside is the fries, which are well prepared but frozen (it's stated on the menu). But that's a small detail. A little extra, the very friendly owner kindly offered us coffee. The pizzas were also perfectly cooked, with just the right balance of crispiness and softness. The service was quick and efficient, with no long waits despite the place being busy. Another plus is definitely the value for money: generous portions, top quality at reasonable prices. We will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy excellent pizza in a unique atmosphere in the wonderful town of Santu Lussurgiu!

01/11/2025: While passing through Baunei, this gelateria was a delightful surprise. The artisanal gelato, made with goat's milk, is truly delicious. We tried the flavors—pistachio and pomegranate cremino, blackberry, and croccantino—and we loved them.

22/10/2025: This is truly the best ice cream I've ever had in Sardinia. Incredibly delicious! You really shouldn't miss it. And don't worry about the goat flavor. You'll barely notice it's goat's milk. Definitely try it!
