07/05/2026: For fans of Fabrizio de André, it's an experience you absolutely must have at least once in your life. It's a moving experience, you'll feel your heart pounding because De André seems to be approaching you at any moment, given the care they've taken to preserve the villa, just as he was on his last day there. Getting there isn't difficult; before the entrance, there's a hidden road that's a bit long, but it's paved, not dirt. The dishes are delicious, everything homemade, including myrtle liqueur! As soon as we arrived, we were greeted and seated first in Fabrizio's ground-floor studio for an aperitif. I recommend going on an empty stomach, as there are eight courses, each one better than the last! You can go just for lunch or dinner, and you don't have to sleep in the rooms that were Fabrizio de André's studio or his and Dori Ghezzi's bedroom. The price for lunch or dinner is €50 per person with a fixed menu and drinks not included. I highly recommend going there for lunch because it's not only a place with a powerful emotional impact, but also a wonderful place to observe. The only negative (though positive for me, because I always really enjoy isolating myself from the world in certain places) is that I hope they'll change. Cell phones don't work in the villa, and the Wi-Fi password is only given to those staying at the B&B. The staff Dori Ghezzi has entrusted with managing the villa is incredibly kind and polite. I'll definitely be back!

27/05/2026: First time in Sardinia, first Sardinian restaurant for me! Simply excellent, exquisite, true! I tried the tasting menu for two at lunch. I'm writing this while I eat because all the dishes are a feast for my palate. Everything is excellent! Everything is top-notch. Enough, I'll keep eating, but try it!

08/06/2026: The favorite spot of the great champion Gigi Riva. Located just a short distance from Cagliari's marina, this historic restaurant has proven to be a timeless favorite. It's always a pleasure to return to savor the freshest seafood and fish, of the highest quality. Kudos to the owner for his exquisite kindness and to the staff for their impeccable and attentive service. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar. Highly recommended.

07/06/2026: A trattoria in the center of Cagliari, just steps from the port. Paid parking is available all around. It's not easy to find a spot. The atmosphere is homey and puts you in a holiday mood. The menu is essentially fixed, with a few changes that need to be requested in advance. The catch of the day is fresh, and everything was delicious and well-cooked. The staff is friendly and attentive to your needs. The desserts are excellent. Good value. I recommend it!

29/04/2026: Oh wow! We drove way out of our way to try this place and I am SO glad that we did. It’s the best gelato that we’ve ever had (and it is our life’s mission to eat as much gelato as possible so we know what we’re talking about 🤪). I cannot recommend it enough! It’s the smoothest, tastiest gelato in all of Europe!!

10/06/2026: We stumbled upon this place almost by chance. It's a small place that serves traditional Sassari cuisine at a very reasonable price. You can order several dishes per person, allowing you to try as many different dishes as possible. And, on a positive note, we were offered complimentary digestifs and coffee. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

10/06/2026: Simply perfect! A small, traditional Sardinian restaurant with high-quality dishes to share (or not 🤤). The chef is very friendly (thank you for the tips on cooking the guanciale!) and the food is excellent (special mention for the risotto). The total price is a bit high if you order several courses, but it's definitely worth it. The menu is only in Italian, but with the chef's explanations or ChatGPT, you can manage perfectly well 👍🏻 Thank you for a lovely time.

22/05/2026: Amazing ice cream! I've never had ice cream like it! Made with fresh fruit, we saw it being delivered in the morning and went back at the end of the day. The price is reasonable, €5 for 3 scoops, and the taste is fabulous!

03/06/2026: Excellent service, even considering the traffic and the small table. The appetizer dinner idea was great, but the food (we ordered the double-decker) wasn't up to par: the fries were excessive, anything but warm, the focaccia was so-so, the platter ingredients were so-so, only the meatballs and craft beers were good. The quality (better)/price ratio (needs improvement) was two stars.

28/04/2026: We were greeted by the wonderful lady at the till who showed us to the English menus on their app - the pizza menu is a book and they all sound amazing! The service was so fast and the pizza itself - flawless!

The produce is truly high-quality, fresh, and carefully prepared. The staff is exceptional: super professional, kind, and welcoming. They made us feel at home from the first moment. A little tip for customers: If you order the passion fruit mocktail, be aware that it's quite bitter, like Aperol. If you don't like bitter flavors, I recommend asking for it to be made without that Aperol-like touch. Everything was fantastic, we highly recommend it and will definitely be back! -Mia

20/02/2026: An alternative evening with the family, we had 4 different sandwiches, all good and excellent value for money, they are very quick and friendly... the only thing is that there are few places to sit as it is a street food place.

The atmosphere is comfortable, and every time I've chosen this restaurant for an occasion or to find a moment of peace, I've left satisfied. I have allergies and intolerances, and they've recommended changes to the dishes without any problem. The staff is very kind and helpful. I recommend it!

12/03/2026: Must visit. Food and service is of exceptional quality. Best restaurant I've eaten in Cagliari during my visit. Free Appertif and to have 3 courses and a bottle of wine for £75 of this quality is brilliant value for money.
