The staff is friendly, the service impeccable, and they're friendly, competent, and clean. Everything is topped off with homemade first courses that respect Roman tradition, and second courses and side dishes that exceed expectations. Everything is top-notch. Congratulations! We'll be back.

16/08/2026: I already knew this restaurant, having dined there three other times, always with great satisfaction, choosing both the meat and fish menus. For Ferragosto, I made a reservation for four people, and upon arriving, I admit, I was a little skeptical: the number of people waiting to get in was truly impressive! 😅 Instead, with great efficiency, in no time everyone was comfortably seated, with appetizers, bread, water, and white and red wine already on the table. We even asked to change seats because we were too close to the air conditioning, and our request was granted immediately. The set menu, a delightful mix of meat and fish, was truly excellent. In particular, the two first courses were delicious and perfectly cooked: so much so that many diners even asked for seconds! 👏 The service was quick, professional, organized, and always courteous, despite the incredibly large number of customers. In short, if I had to give a rating, I'd say it's a solid 9/10. I'm not giving it a 10 just because of the wait at checkout: we found ourselves in a rather long line because a customer couldn't remember their card PIN. In situations like this, perhaps it would be helpful to have a second cashier or to temporarily accommodate those having difficulty paying, thus avoiding holding up the line. Otherwise, there's nothing left to say: it was a wonderful and delicious Ferragosto lunch! Compliments to all the staff and the kitchen. I plan to return soon with another group of friends.

20/04/2026: My boyfriend and I stayed here over Valentine's Day and couldn't have chosen a better place. We tried two VR escape rooms, and it was incredible: totally immersive and super fun! ​A huge plus goes to the organization: by booking in advance, we were able to plan our experience down to the smallest detail with the staff, which made everything perfect and stress-free. ​The real difference, however, is the owners. You can tell they love what they do; even though they have to repeat the same explanations to dozens of customers every day, they do it with rare passion and friendliness. They were incredibly kind and always welcomed us with a smile, sharing all their energy with us. ​Top! We'll definitely be back to try other challenges!

14/08/2026: Aldo's pizza is one of the best in Cagliari and the surrounding area, with a wide selection and customizable options. He also makes excellent panuozzo-style stuffed focaccias, like the one in the photo. The place is small and primarily a takeout spot, but every time we've been there, we've always managed to find a comfortable table. The owner's friendliness and kindness are the real added value of this pizzeria.

29/08/2026: We were probably unlucky with the evening, given the other positive reviews, but it wasn't a memorable experience. This home restaurant offers a fixed menu, likely subject to availability, but we were served mini panzerotti during the appetizers, which were probably frozen. The first courses were served without even being presented, while the grilled meat for the second course was mostly boneless. The desserts we were offered were gelato or chocolate mousse, certainly not the kind of dessert you'd expect from a typical Sardinian menu, or from what was mentioned in the reviews (seadas in most of them). It was certainly our bad luck, partly due to the fact that we went at the end of the season and therefore with less availability of suckling pig or other typical products, but it would have been more appropriate to inform us of the menu at the time of booking and to point out that some products would not be available that day, especially since this would make the price paid (€45 per person) seem excessive.

27/08/2026: An extraordinary experience! We found it somewhat by chance, and it was an extraordinary human and gastronomic surprise. We were two adults and a small child, and it wasn't a problem at all; quite the opposite. We were received with unparalleled kindness. It's a tasting menu with several courses... You have to go hungry and with time (the service lasts around 3 hours), and reservations are mandatory (the dining room is small, although we wrote this the same day). But the family-style Sardinian cuisine prepared by Itala and the kindness of Daniele are well worth it! Highly recommended!

17/07/2026: A wonderful discovery we stumbled upon during our visits to the various archaeological sites in the area. Osteria del Borgo is a small treasure trove that showcases the flavors of a spectacular region rich in history and tradition. The food is masterfully prepared by Chef Pierpaolo and well explained by Rita, his assistant. The Culurgiones are exquisite, not to mention the Sardinian desserts. Definitely worth returning for more ☺️

17/07/2026: Adorable! I had to dine alone and came to this place on the recommendation of my host. I hadn't booked, but the owner found me a table anyway. The place is tiny, which is the best thing about it. Intimate and a little noisy, yet cheerful, I felt right at home! The food was sublime. For an appetizer, I ordered the house cured meats and cheeses, delicious, and for a main course, the culurgiones with guanciale. The service was attentive and authentic; the heart of Gallura was there. The myrtle liqueur they produce is a must.

14/08/2026: A rustic and authentic restaurant, serving traditional Sardinian cuisine, refined and unpretentious: at Trattoria da Gian Luca, we truly felt at home. The fava beans with pecorino and gorgonzola, the cabbage with filu ferru, and the carrots were incredible: simple dishes, but made with such care that you can taste them. My boyfriend, a Piedmontese and a great foodie, tried the tongue with Vermentino and called it one of the best he'd ever eaten. The staff were incredibly kind, the owner was kindhearted, and he embodied the authenticity of someone who offers hospitality out of passion, not a profession. Even the homemade myrtle liqueur was a delightful surprise. If I had this place near my house, it would definitely be my favorite place. We'll definitely be back. ❤️

13/08/2026: We arrived at Trattoria Gianluca with high expectations, driven by the excellent reviews we'd read, yet they managed to surpass them all. The cuisine is simply excellent, based on top-quality, fresh, and premium ingredients. ​Beyond the extraordinary food, we enjoyed a memorable evening thanks to the warm welcome from the chef and staff: I especially remember the patience and kindness with which they took all the time necessary to help a tourist find her way to her hotel. ​It's gestures and flavors like these that leave a lasting impression and transform a dinner into a truly special experience. Highly recommended!
