What to say! Place run by wonderful people. We were welcomed like at home, complete with chats and stories at the end of the meal with a nice glass of myrtle. The fixed menu offers a way to eat fresh, local fish, which guarantees quality and goodness. I will definitely be back, I highly recommend

I really recommend this restaurant, last week when my best friend came here, we took her to this restaurant for lunch, she said it’s the BEST FISH that she ever had, and that she didn’t know you can make fish this good. They have a fixed menu, so even if you don’t understand Italian or know how to order, it’s okay. It was a weekday, but still kind of packed, so I recommend you to book it in advance. We will definitely come again.

A must in Cagliari to eat fresh, well-cooked fish. Informal and welcoming environment, no menu (rightly so) since you eat according to the catch of the day. Correct price, given the quality.

Although not assiduously, I have been frequenting it for many years no less than five, six times a year and it is always a confirmation of the quality of the products and service offered at a price that I could define as oscillating between modest and adequate. It's true there is no trepidation of doubt while waiting for the dishes: because you already know that they will be very tasty and cooked properly. So when you don't want to eat well, there are plenty of other places.

Menù da scoprire con vari assaggi di antipasti, fregola risottata al pesce, frittino e spigola arrosto, bottiglia di vino bianco, ma anche torta e mirto ghiacciato . We had a "fixed price" seafood banquet for three - 35 Euros per head, including wine ("Do you want red or white?"). We didn't order anything - "It just comes", although I think (looking at other tables) you could probably order some add-ons like crayfish or "more prawns". Overall, the experience was one of generosity and good humour - and more fish than we could eat! Staff were helpful when booking over the phone, and were jovial and efficient in person. First, we had an entrée plate with breaded scallops, razor clams and mussels, more mussels with tomato, some prawns and some steamed parcels of fish pieces. Then followed a seafood pasta - very tasty - and the main course, mainly red mullet (goatfish) and prawns, with grilled whole sea bass (two), all served with a variety of citrus fruit. The fruit and fish combination might sound a bit weird, but it works very well. The seafood was fresh and well-cooked, as you should expect in a specialist restaurant like this. We didn't have any feeling of being rushed or pushed, although the place was busy. The "marine" decor - oars and maritime memorabilia - is slightly kitsch, but it's a pleasant room. I'd certainly go back!
