26/10/2025: The burgers are generous and very good. Very reasonable prices. Very enjoyable jazz atmosphere. The only downside is the fries, which are well prepared but frozen (it's stated on the menu). But that's a small detail. A little extra, the very friendly owner kindly offered us coffee. I recommend it! 👍

10/03/2026: If you're passing through, don't miss this restaurant. Recommended by a friend who's a true Cagliari native, and... well, what can I say? It was an incredible experience. Excellent food, top-quality ingredients, generous portions, and authentic flavors.
Kudos to Mr. Giacomo, a very kind, knowledgeable, and super friendly host who makes you feel right at home. The price was more than fair; in fact, for what I ate, I would have paid even more.
I don't often write reviews, but this time I felt compelled. Spectacular, absolutely recommended.
06/03/2026: I was moved to hear the stories about Gigi Riva, who was a regular. A true old-fashioned trattoria. You eat whatever they find fresh. Everything is good, but the grilled fish... DIVINE!!! NOT TO BE MISSED!!

18/04/2026: We went there because of the high rating on Google. The food wasn't the best, but it looked really nice, better than in pics in Google maps. The owner of a place or the man who works there was really nice, he gave us some information what to see and where to eat in Cagliari, his recommendation which was a nice touch. Although I wouldn't go back there for food.

16/04/2026: We decided to go for a cocktail in town after dinner. This place had good reviews, so we walked over. To start with, the interior is very uninviting, so we chose a table outside on the terrace. I realized that the two men inside were too busy chatting and hadn't noticed us. I went inside myself to ask for menus and mentioned that we were sitting outside on the terrace. After 15 minutes, no one had come by yet, even though we were the only customers... We decided to leave and go somewhere else. When we passed by again more than an hour later, the table was still exactly as we had left it.
14/04/2026: Delicious tiramisu. Good coffee.
Incredibly hospitable host - friendly service :) Atmospheric place. I highly recommend it.

04/04/2026: Amazing fresh food, best fish in Sardinia we had, super nice service
04/04/2026: We stumbled on this restaurant by accident on a busy Friday night as it was the only restaurant with decent reviews that could seat us and were absolutely blown away. We ordered the tuna carpaccio, the sea bass “Antonino” and the seada for the desert and each course was more delicious than the last. Easily the best food we ate on Sardinia, friendly service and great value for money.

11/03/2026: We made a quick trip to Cagliari for work and stumbled upon this pastry shop by chance.
It was a very pleasant surprise.
The owner at the cash register was very kind, and the staff was cheerful and helpful.
The products we tried for breakfast were truly delicious!

The environment is poorly soundproofed...a bit pricey for a beer with a steak and potatoes main course, especially considering the lack of a cloth tablecloth and napkin, only paper ones...one very negative note, coming from an adjacent private room, loud music and cigarette smoke.

20/04/2026: Highly recommend Ristorante Barbagia Olbia. From the minute we stepped in the door, we were made so welcome. A beautiful restaurant with Sardinia at heart. The food is sublime. The best we had in Olbia. Locals recommended the restaurant to us and it did not disappoint. We will be back.
12/04/2026: The best meal I had in Sardinia during my Easter week 2026 visit! I had the wild boar in a sweet/sour sauce with olives and grilled veggies, while my partner had wild boar ragu with handmade pasta. Both were delicious and the serving sizes sufficient for a second, takeaway meal. Also remarkable were the fluffy grated pecorino over sliced tomatoes as antipasti and the almond cake for dessert….followed by memorably strong fennel-based digestifs. Lovely service, too.

10/04/2026: As a family with two children, we've been to Birroteca several times. We've always received a very warm welcome, the food is excellent with a wide variety of dishes, from simple to more elaborate. They also offer a large selection of craft beers to accompany your meal.
