08/06/2026: The favorite spot of the great champion Gigi Riva. Located just a short distance from Cagliari's marina, this historic restaurant has proven to be a timeless favorite. It's always a pleasure to return to savor the freshest seafood and fish, of the highest quality. Kudos to the owner for his exquisite kindness and to the staff for their impeccable and attentive service. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar. Highly recommended.

07/06/2026: A trattoria in the center of Cagliari, just steps from the port. Paid parking is available all around. It's not easy to find a spot. The atmosphere is homey and puts you in a holiday mood. The menu is essentially fixed, with a few changes that need to be requested in advance. The catch of the day is fresh, and everything was delicious and well-cooked. The staff is friendly and attentive to your needs. The desserts are excellent. Good value. I recommend it!

23/07/2026: We stopped for a rum tasting, a rum cocktail, and a mocktail, all recommended by the owner Domenico and all delicious. A wide variety of rums and excellent cocktails. After a wonderful and pleasant chat with the owner about rum and cigars, I can say I'm very satisfied...

21/07/2026: A fantastic experience from start to finish! I highly recommend this restaurant. Ordering a sharing platter and a drink is the perfect way to enjoy it. Since we'd already had a late lunch in the afternoon, we enjoyed a relaxing end to the evening here. The service is sensational. The staff provides excellent advice, and you truly feel welcome. Our tip: Let the friendly waiter choose for you; he takes his time with his guests and recommends just the right thing. The restaurant is located in a small, narrow alley and is rather small, with only a few tables. Despite this, we easily found a table both evenings. We even went back twice because we enjoyed it so much. If the owners continue to do their job with such passion and dedication, it might become difficult to get a table spontaneously in the future.

11/06/2026: I'm now reviewing this restaurant where my wife, daughter, and I dined at the end of May. We had the honor and pleasure of being served by Renzo (who passed away a few days ago). He was a man of rare empathy and professionalism. The news left us in disbelief. The food was excellent and the service incredibly friendly. While Luca was bringing us appetizers, my daughter turned to me and said, "It's been a long time since I've had gratinated mussels," the expression of a simple desire. As dinner continued, Luca approached us with a plate full of gratinated mussels (not on the menu) and said, "I spoke with the girl and prepared them for you." For this alone, the restaurant is worth a visit because you're treated not just like a customer but like family. Thank you for the wonderful welcome and again, my sincere condolences on Renzo's sudden passing. See you soon. Manuela, Alessia, and Alberto

11/03/2026: Spectacular pastry shop and super staff!

11/03/2026: We made a quick trip to Cagliari for work and stumbled upon this pastry shop by chance. It was a very pleasant surprise. The owner at the cash register was very kind, and the staff was cheerful and helpful. The products we tried for breakfast were truly delicious! Well done!

23/07/2026: The waiter was quite unpleasant and the food was expensive for what it was worth. I don't recommend it; the next day we went to Tiffany's and they treated us well there.

04/04/2026: We stumbled on this restaurant by accident on a busy Friday night as it was the only restaurant with decent reviews that could seat us and were absolutely blown away. We ordered the tuna carpaccio, the sea bass “Antonino” and the seada for the desert and each course was more delicious than the last. Easily the best food we ate on Sardinia, friendly service and great value for money.

24/07/2026: We had a great experience at Ristorante Barbagia. The restaurant was busy, which is why I would definitely recommend making a reservation in advance. The staff were hardworking, friendly and very fast, always making sure everything was taken care of. We ordered the traditional Sardinian Porceddu (roast suckling pig), and it was juicy, tender and full of flavour. I also had the boar, and it was exceptional. The meat was incredibly soft, juicy and literally melted in my mouth. The potatoes served with the dishes were also excellent and perfectly cooked. We also tried the salmon pasta, which was delicious and full of flavour. One thing that really stood out was the portion sizes, which were very generous and definitely worth it. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Olbia. The food, service and atmosphere were all excellent, but make sure to reserve a table in advance because the restaurant is almost always full.

10/06/2026: As has been described many times before... Cool, alternative bar/bistro. Fair prices, especially considering the fairly central location. Service is good and very friendly. English is spoken. Some people here overrate the square; in my opinion, it's nothing special for Italy. But it's still nice. Overall, a rather quiet spot in Cagliari.

03/06/2026: Nice cocktails and friendly service (not too good at English). I didn't like the Dark side of the moon cocktail, but the pisco sour was nice (with some local mirto). Sadly they didnt have the ingredients for a white russian.

20/01/2026: Definitely worth a visit. The food is outstanding - they only serve the best quality ingredients and the family who runs the restaurant are so friendly and helpful.

22/11/2025: Takeout for my trip to Sassari. The dining room is very cozy. The parmigiana is good. The semi-aged pecorino cheese is excellent.
