Some people have spirit animals, I have spirit pizza and the Peek-a-boofala from Sa Scolla is mine. It was everything I crave in a pizza. Dough like a kiss from a cloud, spicy, a little bitter from the cicoria and just the right salty bite from the olives. The… there is the bufala mozzarella and my friends I came undone with the first and every following bite. No lie. My husband wanting to make me happy brought me back for a second pizza two nights later. Video from the second go-round, photo from the first. Plus the SERVICE! They were so kind and professional they made a night out for pizza feel like high-end dining with your besties. I will be back to Cagliari from the mainland just for Sa Scolla! Extremely friendly waiters, a very elegant location. Carefully crafted dishes with seasonal ingredients that sometimes surprise. Definitely worth trying again and again.

I can honestly say I found a pleasant surprise!! I used to pass by it all the time, like many of us, but then my wife and I decided to book with another couple of friends. It's a very nice and simple place. The staff was kind and welcoming. We ordered a pizza and two plates of ricotta-filled tortelli and a salad. The pizza was really good, and the tortelli were also very good. We received a small omelette as a welcome gift before starting. The seadas were also good. We appreciated the honesty of the waiter, who accidentally brought us an extra bottle of water we hadn't asked for, but assured us we wouldn't have to pay for it (even though we drank it). The service was also excellent, with short wait times and fair prices. I highly recommend it and hope to return soon.
