26/10/2025: Best ice cream ever. Highly recommended. Chocolate with rum – sensational, goat's ricotta with honey, or salted caramel – every ice cream flavor we tried was incredibly delicious. Three scoops for €4.50. If you're in the area, this is the best gelateria I know.

01/11/2025: While passing through Baunei, this gelateria was a delightful surprise. The artisanal gelato, made with goat's milk, is truly delicious. We tried the flavors—pistachio and pomegranate cremino, blackberry, and croccantino—and we loved them.

22/10/2025: This is truly the best ice cream I've ever had in Sardinia. Incredibly delicious! You really shouldn't miss it. And don't worry about the goat flavor. You'll barely notice it's goat's milk. Definitely try it!

A huge added value is Carlo, the owner: he always manages to make us feel at home, with his friendliness and professionalism. A place to return to... and return again!

It wasn't very busy back then, the owners (I don't know if they're the same ones) were fantastic, lots of conversation and attention to my wife. The food was fantastic. Now my son is almost 14, and sooner or later I'll stop by Janas again to show him where he spent his first holiday in Sardinia...

01/01/2026: The owner and his staff were extremely kind. We stopped with our camper at the Bari Sardo camping area, which is 5 km from the restaurant. Since we didn't have any transportation, the owner came to pick us up in person. The restaurant is very special... outside the usual patterns, you feel at home. Spectacular food from appetizers to dessert... everything made by them and of their own production... all authentic food... Since Sardinia is a second home for us, I promised we'll return this summer. Highly recommended... long live Sardinia and the Sardinians!

07/12/2025: We were cycling with our group at a critical point, and this place saved our lives. Everything in town was closed, and Itala literally saved our lives by opening her kitchen just for us! She prepared some absolutely amazing pappardelle with ragu for a fantastic price. Eternally grateful! A perfect ten!

11/01/2026: Oct. 25 We happened to be passing by on our motorcycle and were hungry. The very friendly owner recommended lasagna and tuna tartare. Very tasty and plenty to eat!!

30/12/2025: We stopped for lunch, almost by chance, along the road... and it turned out to be one of the happiest stops on our trip. One of those places you don't look for, but that seem to find you. We took the owner-chef's advice and started with a generous and unique meat-based antipasto, made with truly excellent products: authentic, genuine flavors that describe Sardinia better than a thousand words. The culurgiones were simply unforgettable: soft, fragrant, full of flavor—a true spectacle. The hand-sliced ​​prosciutto is fabulous, and the surprisingly good house wine pairs everything perfectly. The owner is kind and passionate, managing to create an unforgettable atmosphere: as you begin to eat, he passes by the walls, touching the bells and making them ring, instilling smiles and lightness. A simple and authentic gesture that remains in your heart. The place is a little discovery: pipes, knives, bells, and Sardinian handicrafts speak of tradition, the land, and skilled hands. You look around and you really feel Sardinia.
