Arrived in Bari yesterday and needed to find a nice breakfast place for this morning. Just 5 mins walk from our Apartment and what a treat. Good food. Had an Italian Breakfast and an American Breakfast. Both really nice. Good service. And good coffee.

Good food, and made custom for me! I explained I could not eat leavened bread and gave them some matzoh. They made matza brei with cheese and tomatoes for me! It was delicious. Baruch Hashem!

Very pleasant, even though the bar was a little bit chaotic at the morning with coffees flying around the waitress served everything in style and time. Coffee was typical high quality of Bari, waffles 10/10, the speciality Cafe Leccese was extravagant and extraordinary! Will come back, mi raccomando ragazzi

A very cute café; you can sit and relax here, and there are plenty of seats inside, which isn't often found in Bari. The food was also very tasty; we had a cornetto and waffles with Nutella. The only downside was that the music was very loud and the waiters were very noisy with the dishes at the counter. It's not really possible to read in peace.

Trattoria da Ismet

19/05/2026: I chose this trattoria by chance as I was passing through. The place is small with just a few tables, but I have to say the service, food, flavors, and price were exceptional. I had a first course, a fish main course, mineral water, and a coffee plus a cover charge of €28. Highly recommended. After eating, I read the reviews; there are a couple of negative ones, but they're probably false because it's impossible for them to be bad one day and great the next. So, I highly recommend it.
06/05/2026: Ismet and his wife are wonderful people, welcoming and attentive without ever being intrusive. They offer local cuisine that makes you feel at home, without false gourmet pretenses, honest and straightforward in its presentation, price, and, above all, in the quality of both the fish and meat. It was a pleasure dining at their restaurant and we will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

08/04/2026: A very nice location, even though it's not very obvious from the outside that it's a grill restaurant. We weren't able to use the garden because they haven't yet reached their summer capacity. The food is very high quality, the staff is very friendly, and the owner is very friendly and approachable. The homemade cured meats are excellent.
02/03/2026: We went for Sunday lunch. The meat selection was carefully selected, mostly local. The meat was very delicate, the fries were crispy, and the sliced ​​meat was excellent. The salad selection was also interesting. The service deserves a special mention: the girls were very kind and attentive. The atmosphere was perfect, very intimate in my opinion, but also perfectly suited to large groups. The wines were very select; ask for some off-menu options. The soufflé was excellent; if you order rum, you also get a piece of exceptional chocolate.
