Today I chose to host a lunch for seven people at Braceria Pizzeria da Luigi to celebrate my vow, and I couldn't have made a better choice. First of all, I'd like to thank the owner for his great willingness to wait on us, despite our arrival time being a bit awkward. We truly appreciated this gesture. Kudos also to the waiters, who, with their kindness, professionalism, and friendliness, accompanied us throughout the lunch, making us feel welcomed and completely at ease. The gastronomic journey began with seven courses of appetizers, all of the highest quality. I'd particularly like to highlight the parmigiana barese, the beef carpaccio, the excellent prosciutto crudo, the fresh and flavorful mozzarella and burratina, as well as a truly exceptional zucchini flan. All this was accompanied by their focaccia, served from the beginning, which was also very popular. We then continued with two traditional first courses: orecchiette with turnip greens and orecchiette with braciola. Both were excellent, but if I had to choose, I'd recommend the orecchiette with braciola, with its intense flavor and incredibly tender meat. The first course was just as good. The lunch was accompanied by an excellent Apulian Primitivo, perfectly in keeping with the local tradition. For the second courses, at the owner's recommendation, we chose a Florentine steak served in a characteristic manner on a hot griddle, starting rare with the option of choosing the desired cooking method, and a rib-eye steak, served with potatoes and vegetables: superior-quality meat, perfectly cooked, and truly generous. An additional thank you also goes to the adjacent pastry shop, which, at the owner's (Luigi's) suggestion, created an impeccable custom cake, helping to make the day even more special. I'd like to emphasize that each course was not only excellent in quality, but also generous in quantity. At the end of the meal, we were offered coffee and a digestif, a further sign of customer service. Considering the quality of the ingredients, the generous portions, and the service, the value for money was absolutely satisfactory. I thank the restaurant again for helping make this special day even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat well and feel welcomed with professionalism and friendliness. I can assure you that your choice will never be wrong. I sincerely hope to return when I'm in Bari.

A great experience at this restaurant in the Poggiofranco neighborhood of Bari. A very warm, welcoming atmosphere, with extremely kind and helpful staff. Good food, generous and homemade appetizers, well-cooked and thin-crust pizzas, and flavorful and well-cooked meats. We would have preferred a slightly slower service, with a break between appetizers and meat dishes. Instead, they were all served at once, leaving us with six hot dishes to be consumed quickly to avoid eating them cold; certainly a necessity for a Saturday night. The waiters, although very polite, repeatedly asked us if we were finished eating even though our plates were still full. Unfortunately, we felt like we had to finish everything quickly before leaving. Thank you.

A truly peaceful evening, a very welcoming place and top-notch staff—great pizza chefs, cooks, and waiters—and very, very friendly service. I recommend it to everyone. Very satisfied. Exceptional Bari cuisine! The orecchiette with turnip greens were perfect and authentic, as was the orecchiette with meat ragù, with delicious, flavorful meat. The grill is also excellent, with quality meat cooked to perfection. A special thanks to the owner Luigi and his wife Monica, exceptional people, welcoming and always smiling.
