03/08/2025: Avoid at all costs, horrible atmosphere, rude staff and they try and scam you! Asked to order a T bone cut of meat, explained for one person, asked if we could see the amount/weight of meat before. Then a huge portion of meat was brought out already cooked, not what he had agreed. Really bad experience. Unfortunately we didn't read the negative reviews prior to coming.

01/08/2025: I had a Black Angus carpaccio and a dish of the day (ragu) which tasted very good! Nice staff and reasonable prices, but unfortunately the dishes came in the wrong order; we didn't get the starters at the same time, so I had to wait 15 minutes for mine, then I had to eat my side order for 20 minutes while I waited for the main course. My girlfriend was unfortunately not as happy with her order, but the waiter compensated for this by removing the dish from the bill, which felt professional 👌🏻.

14/07/2025: We dined here for the first time last night. The pizza was delicious and plentiful; the staff was friendly and helpful. The only major flaw was the incredibly slow service, which put you off ordering anything else, perhaps dessert. It's a shame.

10/07/2025: July 10, 2025. An hour's wait for two pizzas... too long. Even if the pizzas were good (and I use the conditional), I don't think the review can change. Too bad, maybe next time, if there ever is one.

23/07/2025: I went there a few days ago with my partner for the famous seafood aperitif, which ended up costing us 74 euros! Our aperitif included 4 oysters, 10 mussels, 2 scampi, 4 red prawns, 4 whole apulias, some tuna and salmon carpaccio, a plate of crostini, and two spritzes. Of course, everything was delicious, except for the apulias, which I had to clean myself! However, the price was definitely exorbitant for the 12 pieces we ate! For 35 euros per pass each, we could have had dinner instead of an aperitif! Then we bought a 600-gram sea bream, which was filleted for us, and when we got home we weighed the fillets, which were barely 250 grams! So there was a 350-gram waste, more than half the total weight (I've read that the average waste estimate is between 30% and 50% of the total weight), and obviously we paid for it in full. I was excited to go because I'd already been there once, also for the seafood aperitivo, and I had excellent memories of it for the quality-price ratio, but after this terrible experience, we won't be back! I gave it three stars because the quality is undoubtedly there, but how much we spent is insane!

07/05/2025: IL SAGITTARIO, l’unico vero classico ristorante di Polignano a Mare, uno di quelli che ormai non esistono quasi più nelle località turistiche ma che, per fortuna, è riuscito a resistere negli anni grazie alla sua capacità di adeguarsi, evolversi ed adattarsi ai tempi restando sempre ancorato alla tradizione… Nato come un ristorante a 360 gradi (carne, pesce, pizza), oggi ha inclinato la barra del timone leggermente verso un menù di mare con una scelta vastissima ma, conservando comunque le “certezze” che lo hanno reso noto nel tempo come dei primi stupendi ed abbondanti o come le bistecche che potete ammirare in foto o delle ottime pizze (stile barese). Uno dei pochissimi locali di Polignano che sono riusciti a mantenere i prezzi ad un livello accettabile, anzi onesto, rimanendo punto di riferimento per tante famiglie e grandi (e piccole) tavolate di Amici. Super Consigliato!

02/04/2025: Per festeggiare la festa delle nostre ladies, siamo stati a pranzo presso il rinomato ristorante di Polignano a Mare "Il Sagittario". Tutto molto buono, portate extra ed un ringraziamento al sig. Domenico titolare del ristorante per aver esaudito le nostre richieste con piatti che non erano inseriti nel menù. Alla prossima!

26/05/2025: They offer an all you can eat service, with basic courses decided by them. If you stop only at those you can leave something. Beyond that you can take what you want, and you have to eat everything. But the first courses are so seasoned and full of seeds or vegetables that they fill you up and above all you don't always understand what they are made of, and, in fact, you eat what they give you, and that is not always easy to digest.

28/06/2025: Il cibo è davvero buono e il personale è stato molto gentile e disponibile. L’atmosfera è piacevole e ci siamo trovati bene per tutta la serata. I prezzi sono accessibili, quindi ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. È un posto che consiglio volentieri a chi cerca una cena tranquilla e di qualità.

16/06/2025: Como líder de tours grupales, he experimentado muchos guías diferentes a lo largo de los años. No exagero cuando digo que Mimmo dio una de las mejores giras que he experimentado. Traje un grupo de turistas estadounidenses a Alberobello — pensamos que conocíamos la historia de la ciudad y la región. Pero Mimmo nos cautivó desde el principio. Nos aferramos a cada palabra mientras él daba vida a la historia mientras nos guiaba a través de los trulli, más allá de las tiendas turísticas y en las tranquilas calles traseras de la ciudad. Vale la pena señalar que Mimmo no solo lidera excursiones, sino que también ofrece alojamiento en trulli bellamente renovados y dirige un encantador bar de vinos justo en el centro de la ciudad. El showtopper fue su recreación de un interior de trullo, restaurado para reflejar cómo una familia habría vivido allí siglos atrás. Su conocimiento era profundo, pero aún más impresionante era su capacidad para hacer girar un cuento que nos educara, involucrara y entretuviera a todos. Simplemente increíble. ¡No te lo pierdas!

19/05/2025: Wir waren im Rahmen eines Ausfluges vor Ort und haben uns die Bar ausgesucht, um etwas zu trinken. Da die erste Runde lecker und unkompliziert war, haben wir noch eine zweite Runde getrunken und Focaccia gegessen …. Sehr lecker. Wir waren positiv überrascht und hatten eine schöne Zeit.

05/08/2025: If I could, I'd give it a 6 out of 5. During my two-week stay in Italy and after trying countless pizzerias, this place is the winner of my little, private ranking. The pizza is incredibly good, probably the best I've ever had. Now it'll probably be in my dreams ;) On top of all that, the staff is incredibly friendly and genuinely cares. The gentleman who served us, when we had any doubts, showed us the ingredients that would be on the pizza. They serve such excellent food that even when your stomach is about to stop, you still want to eat. The staff always has a smile. When we returned the next day, we were warmly greeted, like regulars. And we would definitely remain so if we lived in the area. When I'm in the area, I'll definitely be back. Until then, I hope I find something that comes close to the quality of this unassuming and brilliant place in Bari.

26/04/2025: I ordered via Just Eat at 8pm and 9.40pm I didn't receive anything, I called the place, who told me that they tried to call me and that they stayed outside my house for 40 minutes, yet I was seeing if anyone was coming from the balcony of the house, but there was absolutely no one there, I tried to request the order and they immediately canceled it. not recommended to order online.
