17/11/2025: We started off great with the appetizers, which were incredibly delicious. The first courses were average, with all the fresh ingredients. Finally, we ordered a peppered mussel dish, which was inedible. There may have been a problem with the load of mussels that arrived; it was truly a shame to ruin our dinner in the end. We'll definitely try again, confident that it was something you weren't aware of.

08/11/2025: The pizzeria "Su x Giù" offers good-quality pizza in terms of both dough and toppings. But when I went there, I noticed that the lighting inside the restaurant (in the waiting area) was too dim, and this had a negative impact; it looked like there was a power outage. Then we ordered a plain pizza (ortolana) with a grain-based dough and removed some of the extra ingredients for taste and possible intolerances. The size of the pizza was mediocre; it resembled a typical children's pizzella. Another flaw, typical of the town of Gioia del Colle, is the lack of transparency in pricing (no price list) and the final cost was perceived as disproportionate (€11.50 for a takeaway ortolana bianca with only eggplant, zucchini, and breadcrumbs). I should point out that the cashier didn't know the true cost of the pizza and, when asked for information, decided to charge the above price. Overall Rating (2/5 stars). The quality of the product is good but the price is too penalizing given that we are not in a large metropolis and we are only in Puglia.

15/11/2025: 1 star – Highly disappointing experience Our dinner at Yuzu was unfortunately one of the most unpleasant in recent memory. The avocado served was raw and bitter, a clear sign of lack of attention to preparation: a detail that, in a Japanese restaurant, is even more significant. The situation worsened when the restaurant manager asked us to leave without warning, while we were still eating. Not only that, but all the dishes hadn't even been delivered. This behavior we felt was rude and completely out of place, especially considering that dinner was still underway. The only positive aspect of the evening was the owner, who was helpful and courteous, accommodating our inconvenience with a final discount. An appreciated gesture, but insufficient to balance the rest of the experience. Based on our visit, we cannot recommend this restaurant. A real shame, because it has potential, but the welcome and management of the restaurant are just as essential as the food. Not recommended.

30/07/2025: Exceptional pastries, excellent service. Every morning, since I discovered it, I've been coming for breakfast with coffee and a polacca (a specialty pastry). I can't help but say, I've been so enchanted by this pastry shop that on Tuesdays, their day off, I refuse to leave the house. I can't face the day without the excellent coffee and polacca (plain) served with exceptional courtesy. I forgot, breakfast only cost me €2, and sharing a croissant is included in the service. Try it and believe it! And on Sundays, I come here with friends to buy their excellent pastries.
