04/02/2026: A pleasant surprise for its taste and variety. There's a family history behind this fish bar, which churns out excellent sandwiches, poke, and other seafood delicacies. But my favorite is the fried fish. Unrivaled and delicious. I can't think of another place that makes such a delicacy. Well done, well done, keep it up!!!

17/04/2026: Mediocre... mediocre food. I took a friend of mine to the all-you-can-eat restaurant just because he wanted to, and I remembered why I haven't been there in years. The food was mediocre, dry, flavorless, the wasabi wasn't spicy, and everything was bland. And they still charge extra if you don't eat it all... but you should be grateful if anyone else comes to eat... NOT RECOMMENDED.

06/04/2026: In a setting somewhere between rustic and modern, the welcome was warm and welcoming. We were served homemade focaccia and freshly sliced ​​mortadella, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The pizzas were all excellent, from the dough to the fresh, quality ingredients. Overall, we were satisfied, and for the service, prices, and food, I'd give it a solid 8.

19/04/2026: We spent one night at the Mercure Villa Romanazzi Hotel and were completely satisfied. As train travelers, the proximity to the train station was important to us, and it's about a 10-minute walk away. The hotel is beautiful and high-quality, and the staff is friendly and attentive. On the ground floor, there's a restaurant with excellent cuisine where you can watch the chefs at work. The breakfast buffet is served here in the mornings, and you can also have dishes freshly prepared in the kitchen. Our room on the 6th floor was nicely decorated and a good size, and the bathroom was well-stocked with toiletries. The windows can even be fully opened. If you're not sensitive to noise, you can sleep with the window open. There's a spa and fitness area in the basement, but we didn't use it.

18/04/2026: The room is spacious and well-maintained, but the insulation from other rooms is practically nonexistent. You can clearly hear people in adjacent rooms talking, and the flushing of one of the neighboring rooms is very loud. Unacceptable for a 4-star hotel.

23/12/2025: We stopped by today for a quick lunch break. Two pieces of stuffed focaccia, one sausage panzerotto, one ricotta and spinach rustica, one small bottle of water, and three coffees for €17.45. The lady serving us was chewing gum with her mouth open, risking spitting on the food. (Good manners dictate eating with your mouth closed and not talking with gum in your mouth, especially at work.) If I'm paying €3.50 for a sausage panzerotto, at least some attention should be paid to the service! We waited 15 minutes for the coffees, then we went to ask at the cashier to have coffees served, but after 10 minutes we left, demanding a refund for the unused coffees. This was done, but the service was terrible anyway! It's a shame because the quality of the products is high!

16/04/2026: A terrible experience at this restaurant, both in terms of service and the owner's clarity and honesty. We dined as a group of four. A few small vegetable appetizers to share among the four of us; three first courses claimed to be homemade pasta, which turned out not to be, one of which was of poor quality; the second courses we suggested and ordered from the waiter were not all available, so we were served four small vegetable rolls to share between the four of us (we accepted them, as we're not big eaters); we then ordered two desserts, each consisting of a scoop of ice cream dipped in a dash of amaro; four coffees; and a bottle of local wine. There was no menu listing with the prices of the dishes, no wine list, nor any indication of the price. The final bill was €170, €60 of which was for the appetizer alone. When we questioned the bill, the owner responded with a dismissive attitude. Compared to other excellent restaurants in Altamura, where we found a very friendly service, clear menu choices, and excellent value, I would advise against this restaurant.

15/03/2026: Simply sublime, the setting is not overly small but comfortable, making you feel almost at home. The service was impeccable, from the welcome to the farewell. The food and dishes were unique, with flavors that take you back in time... for me, the highlight was the wine cellar, breathtaking, with refined and important national and international labels. A must-visit whenever you want to enjoy good food and seek tranquility.

10/01/2026: We went to Golden on a Saturday night, so we made a reservation—and it was definitely the right call, as the place was completely full. Because of the crowd, the atmosphere was quite noisy, but still lively and energetic. The restaurant is family-run and you can really feel their experience in the way everything is handled. The menu is very extensive, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The restaurant isn’t right in the very center of Polignano, but since the town is small, it’s very easy to reach. In a way, that’s actually a plus: being slightly outside the main tourist area means the prices feel more authentic and haven’t been inflated for tourism. They’re honestly very fair. The waiters were kind and attentive. We did wait a bit longer than expected for the pizzas, however, once the food arrived, it was worth it: the dough was very good, the pizza light and well topped. Delicious! I would happily go back.

11/03/2026: I went with some friends for the 883 cover band. Everything went smoothly, no problems. I ordered a special sandwich, a 3.5-liter beer (for everyone), and various chips to nibble on. The sandwich wasn't a wow factor, but it was good. The service was impeccable, although at times we had the impression that the waiter had served customers who had come in after us. The wait was pleasant due to the atmosphere. I'm not from Corato, but I would definitely visit again and take advantage of hearing other band conversations. Recommended

04/02/2026: We discovered this restaurant by chance, just a few days after it opened, during a stay in Puglia. What can I say? We had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was perfect, the staff were exceptionally friendly, the ingredients were exceptional, and the food was perfectly cooked. We'll definitely be back soon because it was an exceptional experience!

08/02/2026: Pizzeria dated by its product: excellent quality pizzas, baked panzerotti, and fried dishes with reliable ingredients, experienced as a buy-and-take. Special skills, first-time and only pizza chef I've known for a long time. No comment on table service, haven't tried it yet. Shop aligned with the pros of change. Facilitator of cashback, unlike the many lice who still deny its expansion to the public. It's a shame that other pizzerias haven't yet understood that they must also pay taxes and not just feed them illegally. The staff at this pizzeria are serious and polite, but performance could be improved. Overall, I'd say positive if they are consistently open and a facilitator of change. Transparent business and in line with the tax regime, unlike what's out there. Compliments to the Pizza Chef.
