Bar Pizzeria Golden In Polignano a mare

Excellent pizza. Friendly staff. Welcoming place. Easy parking. Fair price.

We went to Golden on a Saturday night, so we made a reservation—and it was definitely the right call, as the place was completely full. Because of the crowd, the atmosphere was quite noisy, but still lively and energetic. The restaurant is family-run and you can really feel their experience in the way everything is handled. The menu is very extensive, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The restaurant isn’t right in the very center of Polignano, but since the town is small, it’s very easy to reach. In a way, that’s actually a plus: being slightly outside the main tourist area means the prices feel more authentic and haven’t been inflated for tourism. They’re honestly very fair. The waiters were kind and attentive. We did wait a bit longer than expected for the pizzas, however, once the food arrived, it was worth it: the dough was very good, the pizza light and well topped. Delicious! I would happily go back.
