06/10/2025: We got married on September 5th and couldn't have asked for anything better. Giacomo, the director, and Sergio, the maître d', are an impeccable team: professional, available, and always attentive to every detail. Thanks to them, everything was perfect, organized down to the smallest detail with such care that allowed us to enjoy the day without a care.
A month later, we're still receiving compliments on the excellent quality of the food and the breathtaking location, with the sea providing a magical backdrop.
They truly leave nothing to chance and manage to make every moment special.
We recommend them wholeheartedly: they are a guarantee! ❤️

25/10/2025: Calm atmosphere, good burgers (incredible buns) but a big lack of sauce, so the whole thing is dry. Great discovery of a craft beer. Fast and efficient service.
10/10/2025: Thursday night, there's no one in the restaurant, just us...maybe we should have had our doubts sooner...yes!
We ate burgers served with only seven fries and the meat was almost cold and undercooked...so much so that today all three of us have abdominal pain and diarrhea...that says it all!

I may be monotonous because I have my set menu here, but I'm convinced it's the best choice; the photos speak for themselves!
Peppered mussels, French fries, a ciccio with cherry tomatoes and arugula, and the inevitable fried local fish. The ultimate!
Take my advice, order this, and you'll leave the table simply HAPPY!
...and then let me know; try it and believe it! (And at a very reasonable price, too—out of line for Monopoli)

21/10/2025: Freshly fried fish, excellent appetizers, and delicious pizza. We recommend serving fried fish with your white pizza, seasoned with oil, salt, and oregano.

30/11/2025: We stopped for a quick lunch, hoping for decent food, but we were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good, the girl who served us was very courteous and friendly, and the value for money was good. What can I say? If I return to Bari, I won't hesitate to stop here again.

22/11/2025: It's a complete disaster. The hotel is in the middle of the highway, impossible to get anywhere on foot. The window overlooks a multitude of solar panels. You can hear everything outside in the rooms; a vacuum cleaner will wake you up at 6 a.m. We came here for the sauna and jacuzzi, but they charge 20 euros per person per hour, which is a joke. We didn't see any information about it anywhere. The photos of this hotel were probably taken 50 years ago, because this place definitely doesn't look like this. Overall, it's an old, filthy hotel. I don't recommend it.
16/11/2025: This isn't the first time we've attended the Barion Hotel for events. We've always had excellent experiences, from Maurizio's professionalism and courtesy to Elenya's smile and kindness, to Samy's impeccable, high-quality work. Especially regarding the cuisine and catering, I've complimented Granit, and I want to publicly reiterate my compliments, as my entire group noted the superior cuisine at last night's dinner. We weren't aware there had been any changes to the staff, but since everyone was so satisfied, I wanted to find out more, and indeed this new addition seems to be a significant upgrade for the entire hotel. Congratulations, and kudos to everyone I mentioned, for making our guests' experiences special!

28/10/2025: Cafe' do Mar is our favorite place in Sardinia! The food is always fresh and perfectly prepared! The Aperol Spritz tastes better nowhere else in the world! The service is always excellent, and the atmosphere is simply pure vacation! We hope we can enjoy this place many more times! 10 stars!!!

29/09/2025: We came to Bari for a couple of days with some friends, we stopped at this bar for breakfast and everything was good, good and polite
28/08/2025: We stumbled upon this place while waiting for our train. It's a small, unassuming café that also sells tobacco, located in a neighborhood that's a bit rough around the edges, so frankly, we didn't expect much. But the moment we walked in, we were met with the warmest, most genuine welcome imaginable from the gentleman behind the counter. It was completely unexpected and truly made our day. While the coffee and pasticciotto were both very good, it was the incredible hospitality that made this place so memorable.

Two spritzes and a glass of chardonnay, plus a small plate of taralli, two chips… €26.50!
And they even charge you for service, putting the drinks in plastic glasses.
Commenting on the excessive price, they tell you that Bari is expensive. Really?!?!?
