02/12/2024: We were a little disappointed due to the outstanding reviews. The ambience is unparalleled and the service is friendly. But the food only looked great on the menu. My fried potatoes with red cabbage were simple potato pancakes with raw grated red cabbage. This is not a high level of cooking and tasted a bit bland - like raw food. Still a nice evening, but you shouldn't go here if you appreciate very good food. Then it's better to trust the Michelin Guide.

05/11/2024: Amazing place! The food, the owner who took care of us and the atmosphere were amazing. They welcomed us really nicely and even put a candle on my desert as it was my birthday. We had tuna and octopus and both were beautiful. We also had an appetizer which was super nice and a delicious cheesecake. Highly recommend and book a table for sure as there are only few tables inside.

01/01/2025: Exceptional place! My boyfriend and I went to eat there twice in the space of a week this summer because we had to satisfy the craving for their bread balls! Super welcoming place, DELICIOUS food and very kind staff. The appetizers are absolutely worth trying!

27/02/2025: Refined and reserved gender environment in certain respects. The owner is an exquisite and very kind person, ready for every need. Obviously the staff reflects the same. Regarding table service, you feel pampered and never taken for granted. All customers have the same attention. Let's move on to the menu: a variety of typical and refined dishes make possible a selected choice of quality products that differ from the usual cuisine, but which maintains the Mediterranean flavours. In reality, stopping to contemplate any dish would be quite reductive, I would recommend a dinner to savor each course and accompany the convivial moment with an excellent wine, which the Van Westerhout has available. Allow me to add that it is a unique environment and as they say... for many but not for all! But let yourself be moved, because cooking in certain places is art 🎭! NB you need to book

30/01/2025: Dopo un lunga giornata di lavoro cerchiamo sempre un accogliente location dove trascorrere qualche momento di relax cenando ed assaporando le “idee” di qualche cuoco !!! Quasi sempre l’intuito legato ad un po’ di esperienza mi conduce nei posti giusti ! Anche questa volta siamo approdati nel posto giusto! Location accogliente bella musica al volume giusto , ovvero quella che ti consente di chiacchierare senza dove urlare e poi tutto perfetto ! Un menu’ misto terra e mare profumi e sapori che si legano ai ricordi , accoglienza e cortesia di chi e’ vissuto per il piacere si fare ristorazione ! Un sicuro porto dove approdare ancora con piacere .

You can see and taste their refinement and the skill of the combinations. In this little restaurant you meet, friends and home. It's really worth the experience. 06/03/2025: Characteristic place in the heart of Bari Vecchia, a stone's throw from the sea. We happened to be there yesterday for dinner, getting lost in the various alleys, and we returned today for lunch by choice. Excellent cuisine, all the dishes are cooked to order and the special feature of the bread with toasted oil and served hot as soon as you sit at the table is truly the plus that makes you feel at home, not to mention the truly genuine and friendly service. In short, everything was perfect and we will definitely be back.

28/02/2025: Che dire, esperienza molto positiva. Abbiamo optato per il menù da 8 portate e una bottiglia di bollicine rosè, nulla di tutto ciò non ha superato le nostre aspettative. Tutto superlativo, dagli antipasti al dolce finale (e io non amo i dolci in generale). Location molto accogliente, personale gentile,simpatico e preparato, bagno pulito e confortevole, chiacchierata con lo chef alla fine in modo confidenziale che corona la cena donando al tutto una nota decisamente positiva. Ha superato di gran lunga ciò che mi aspettavo e sono sicuro che ci tornerò. Complimenti.

Attirata dall'eleganza della location e dal calore degli ambienti, mi sono fatta trasportare da Eros per la scelta del menù, molto attento sia ai particolari che alla giusta combinazione dei cibi. Una persona solare e meravigliosa che mi ha seguita e consigliata in ogni decisione, oltre che un eccezionale Chef! Un locale che ha accolto i miei 70 invitati, curato e gestito nei minimi dettagli da Emanuel, serio, scrupoloso, e sempre presente in ogni momento della serata, accontentandoci in ogni richiesta. Attento anche nei confronti di invitati con intolleranze o allergie alimentari. Grazie ragazzi, avete reso la serata ancora più speciale, regalandoci una bella esperienza da ricordare.

10/03/2025: No longer an insider tip! Great food, exceptionally good and friendly service with excellent wine recommendations. It's a shame for the customers that it's closed at weekends. We'll definitely come back here next time we visit Apulia, no matter how big the detour is! By the way, make sure you make a reservation in advance!
