Immersed in the heart of Bari, Opera revisits the local gastronomic tradition with originality. Refined fish dishes dominate the menu, we find it in various incarnations, from intense to delicate. We started with a raw compote on ice, where oysters, Gallipoli violets and scampi shone, enhanced by a trio of tartar. Then we savored the sautéed octopus with soy vegetables - tender and tasty - followed by cod with black cherry, raisins and fresh ricotta, a sublime dish for its refinement and surprising sweet and sour combination. We then tasted some taglioni with lobster, some spaghetti with squid ink crowned with salmon tartar and some spaghetti alla guitar with rock crab and cherry tomatoes. Each dish displayed a perfect balance of flavor and tradition. We completed this culinary experience with baked turbot, grilled prawns and rice flan. The warm hospitality of Maria, the owner, made the entire lunch even tastier, warmer and full of conviviality. "Opera": a delight for the palate and the soul.

I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my mother-in-law's birthday at Opera Restaurant, and I have to say it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The Opera Restaurant is a place where a warm welcome combines with exceptional cuisine. Mrs. Maria and her staff made my mother-in-law's birthday celebration an unforgettable moment! I recommend trying the sautéed octopus with soy vegetables, the spaghetti alla guitar with rock crab and cherry tomatoes, the grilled seared prawns and the rice flan. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. I can't wait to return to the Opera Restaurant to discover more delicacies!

We had a great dinner at Ristorante Opera and would definitely recommend that place. The food was delicious, we had a mixture of vegan food and fish dishes, each and everything was perfectly cooked and with great ingredients. The Wine selection was also pretty good. The service was not 100% attentive but friendly.

We returned after two months to celebrate an important family event, and we found even greater warmth and delicacy! Exceptional carpaccio, starters of everything and more with a special review for the couscous and the apple/carrot/savoy salad, a first course of spaghettoni with "pelosa" sauce, and then and then and then...

Ottimo ristorante : cibo di qualità, ben impiattato, prezzi medio alti, servizio professionale (anche se un po’ lento), ambiente curato; insomma un bel ristorante al centro di Bari. Ottimo gli antipasti di mare sia per qualità che per quantità (porzioni da portata principale): ho gustato la tartare, ma consiglio anche la zuppa di pesce ed il polpo. Particolare anche il baccalà ai frutti di bosco un accostamento insolito ma gradevole. Eccezionali poi gli spaghetti con la cicala greca (fantastici solo un po’ sapidi). Per finire un piacevole sorbetto al mandarino. Complimenti

Sicuramente un buon ristorante dove cenare, ambiente caldo e servizio molto veloce. I piatti li ho trovati tutti molto buoni, si poteva spingere un po’ di più sulla sapidità ( ma giustamente questi son gusti personali). Un po’ altino il coperto, graditissimo il dolcetto servito con il caffè. Sconto applicato come da promozione. Tornerei volentieri.

Una conferma ogni volta che mangio in questo ristorante, dove gli ingredienti della tradizione pugliese vengono esaltati in modo perfetto. Consigliatissimo se ci si vuole regalare una coccola gastronomica. Ottima proposta di vini

Siamo stati in questo delizioso ristorante con un gruppo di amici. Locale ben arredato, personale competente ed estremamente gentile. Un elogio particolare va a Lello titolare e chef dell’Opera, che ci ha deliziato con i suoi piatti buonissimi, abbondanti, con ingredienti freschi e di qualità! Ristorante raccomandatissimo se vi trovate a Bari

11/03/2024: I went to this place for a quick dinner, encouraged by the excellent reviews. I got nachos (3, on a rectangular serving plate) and a tartare. The first courses were very hard, with a vaguely stale flavor and with a tartare, which was cut very large, slightly dark and therefore not cut fresh. The tartare afterwards was slightly better, placed on the now omnipresent rocket from the bag, with a burratina next to it, which was edible. The meat was a little nervous, it looked like a second cut. Excellent oil. To drink still water, all for 25 euros. The managers and especially the lady who serves the orders are of a kindness and sweetness that is worth the experience.
17/02/2024: Helpful and super friendly staff. Exceptional service and family friendly place. Excellent food for a lunch/dinner that is truly different from the usual routine. Super super recommended
