05/10/2025: My husband, I, and our big dog, Oliver, went for lunch. The food was excellent and the staff were all very kind. We'll be back with great pleasure!

31/08/2025: A very positive experience at Cascina Faletta. A weekend of tranquility, peace, and relaxation. A well-kept and quiet location. The pool and the opportunity to visit the winery with a tasting are absolute pluses. We then had dinner at their restaurant, which was excellent and offered a fairly varied menu. Clean rooms, good breakfast, and overall excellent service. I would happily return.

01/01/2026: The following refers to the New Year's Eve dinner/event. I'll start by saying that I'm not a huge fan of dinners with music, and although there was a reference to it on the website, I didn't pay enough attention to the overall structure of the event. Let's start with the location, which is simply enchanting: Villa Pomela is a former noble residence, once a cultural center of its time. Splendid rooms with expertly renovated stucco and wood paneling remain, a perfect setting for a festive dinner. Regarding the cuisine, the menu was good, albeit with its ups and downs. Some pairings didn't convince me (the basil liqueur éclair remains a mystery to me), while the saffron rice with Gavi, porcini mushrooms, and hazelnuts was perhaps too strong. Overall, a good dinner, although a little pricey in my opinion. What left me most perplexed was the management of the evening: the talented artist who entertained the guests was singing at a volume that was decidedly too loud. The sound system was inadequate for the setting, and conversation at the table was difficult. Despite reporting the issue and temporarily lowering the volume, the problem recurred. Personal opinion: disco music in a place of this type—and with a clientele predominantly over 50—clashed with the location and the overall experience, appearing inappropriate for the setting. A final positive note for the dining room service: the staff was excellent, discreet, and helpful, and the commitment of the young people (probably students from the Novi hotel school) was also commendable.

16/09/2025: A fantastic, atmospheric place with excellent cuisine and service. It's located in a hotel converted from an old estate and decorated in a classic style. I managed to get in after a day of shopping without an appointment, and it turned out to be a wonderful evening.

02/03/2026: I have never experienced such targeted poor treatment at a restaurant. My friend and I arrived on a Saturday at 21:00 without a reservation. We were turned away by a man who was unnecessarily rude, which was fine—we simply made a reservation online for 21:30 and returned. Initially, a lovely woman seated us and offered water, but after she spoke with the man who had previously denied us, her demeanor completely changed. While sitting at the table, I even received an email notification that my reservation had been cancelled, clearly indiciating they intentionally tried to remove our presence from their system while we were physically sitting there. We were then ignored for nearly an hour while the staff was attentive and friendly to every other table. I eventually got to orderat 22:15. When the food finally arrived, the order was wrong, but given the hostile atmosphere, I didn’t feel comfortable sending it back. We are two polite, well-dressed women, and I truly cannot understand why we were singled out for such cold treatment. Whether it was because we were Americans (that speak Italian) or some other reason, the lack of professionalism from the male staff member ruined our evening.

04/02/2026: A must-see if you're passing through... For example, go to the Serravalle outlet... Here's a nice alternative to lunch or dinner in the chaos. Very refined cuisine and a truly homey atmosphere. Their house wine is recommended. It's a shame I didn't get a souvenir of the wine... Next time 👍

17/07/2025: Good evening everyone, despite the overall positive experience, I'm taking the liberty of giving this pastry shop a negative review. These pastries were cloying and tasted of everything except pistachio or hazelnut, inedible, and not to mention the cream, which looked beautiful but tasted like absolutely poor quality.

24/03/2026: +Great view from deluxe double room. -No blanket, only duvet with additional bedsheet underneath. -Curtain didn’t close tight, broken rail or something. -Two mattresses instead of one in double bed was not good.

20/01/2026: A peaceful place with exceptional views. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. Simplicity, tranquility, and kindness from the staff... I highly recommend this hotel. The food is excellent, featuring homemade products. The service is perfect.

01/12/2025: I've had pan pizza takeout twice. The first time it was undercooked but still edible. The second time it was still raw underneath and I couldn't eat it. The farinata tastes like nothing. Never again.

09/11/2025: The pan pizzas are excellent, as is the farinata. I think they're the best in Alessandria. The place is dated. Great prices.

22/02/2026: The space is a bit small, but clean. Everything is top-quality, and the staff is friendly. It's a great experience to bring friends and family.

15/03/2026: The food is divine! The absolute best paella in the province, perfectly prepared. The fried mixed fish is lightly breaded, the fish is fresh and tender, one of the best I've ever had. Everything is top-notch, every dish is carefully prepared, and the portions are generous. The service is excellent; they're super friendly and helpful. Good prices. I recommend it to everyone.

05/02/2026: We ordered paella for two. Ramona was very friendly. Chef Marco Mattia Cermelli came to welcome us in the dining room and we chatted a bit. He also suggested where to buy some stone cookware. We ate very well. The paella with fish and meat was tasty and light. The prawns were delicious, but I think they should have added a few more green beans or peppers. We also had something off the menu, like baby octopus in a slightly spicy sauce. Fresh bread made by the chef. Salmon au gratin with creamed peppers, etc. Potatoes and dessert with panna cotta and mango. We spent about €121, well spent! They offered us limoncello. Welcoming atmosphere. Nice atmosphere. The restaurant opened on March 8th. They accept cash, credit, and debit cards. €15 LUNCH MENU: first course, second course, side dish; water, a quarter of wine and coffee.
