14/06/2025: Intrigued by the name we went to this brewery. Characteristic environment. The owner is very kind and very knowledgeable, he was able to recommend 4 Red Beers of different origins, which were SPECTACULAR!!! Sandwiches with excellent quality ingredients. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for those looking for new experiences in an informal environment.

09/04/2025: Sabato sera, cena organizzata all'ultimo momento, dove andare per mangiare un buon piatto con un buon bicchiere di vino? Antico Cappelverde ovviamente, chiamo e anche se era un orario un po' al limite ci accolgono con serenità e professionalità. Partiamo col dire che hanno rinnovato la carta (lo fanno spesso seguendo la stagionalità di prodotti e tempo), assaggiamo la tartare Ca'di mat col tuorlo croccante e gocce di robiola di Roccaverano e la tradizione ( un mix di antipasti piemontesi). Primi i loro agnolotti di stufato col loro sugo fatto come la nonna comanda, e gnocchi alla carbonara monferrina, particolari e golosi. Alziamo il tiro con i secondi, la loro bistecca Milano senza osso, la mia esente contorni era 540gr, e il fiocco di filetto con salsa di gamba di pernice..... Spettacolari entrambi. Tavolata da 6, abbiamo fatto fatica, ma abbiamo portato a casa la vittoria con lo stupore genuino del titolare. Non abbiamo preso il dolce, non ci stava più nulla. Concludendo, conto più che giusto, con una qualità altissima e ricerca costante di nuovi piatti della tradizione piemontese ormai dimenticati. Lo stra consiglio a tutti di andarci, non rimarrete delusi, anzi......

11/03/2025: I booked a dinner for my nephew's birthday, there were 15 people and I was almost certain that it would be a nice evening. Wow, what a carefully decorated room, the fabulous menu, all super welcoming. I recommend it. Thanks to Mrs Carlotta and Matteo. The guests were super satisfied

05/06/2025: we went there for lunch yesterday, since we are in Germany, we only come occasionally. Yesterday we asked for spaghetti with ragù but it seemed like pasta with sauce (without minced meat), risotto with saffron (without saffron) in short I was very disappointed with how the quality of the food went down like this 😞

25/07/2025: Delicious pizza, terrible service. Suddenly I thought I was the victim of a candid camera. As soon as we arrived, I think the owner arrogantly invited us to follow him to a table. We politely asked if there was no room outside. Annoyed, he replied, "I don't know," and carelessly threw the cutlery and napkins onto the table inside. When it was time to order, we asked what the half-meter pizza was like: we knew it was 50 cm, but we don't usually carry a ruler in our pockets, so, as stupid as it was, our question was factual. It would have been enough for him to show us the size with his hands, instead of answering us like a couple of idiots, "half a meter," with absurd arrogance. We ordered two regular pizzas. I specified that I wanted the pizza plain, enunciating and repeating the request, because the menu listed the pizza with tomato sauce. Afterwards, my companion returns the menus with some difficulty folding them, accompanied by the gentleman's comment: "Sure, let's crease it even more, come on." A wait ensues, during which he argues twice with a waitress who, poor thing, must have the patience of a saint. Finally, the pizzas arrive. Red. Both my companion and I work in the restaurant business, so we know mistakes can happen, and we normally try to cause as little disruption as possible. In other contexts, I would have eaten it, but given the owner's attitude, it seemed like the final straw. And we were wrong. We ask for a change. Without apology, the gentleman grabs the plate and, on sight, mutters, gesticulates, and gets worked up as if I weren't seeing him. Luckily, the pizza chef, who brings me the correct pizza, is polite, courteous, and kind. And mortified. Finally, we ask for two bitters. "With ice?" "No, no ice." I get the ice, and I drink it, laughing, because now we're at the height of absurdity. Meanwhile, the owner starts snapping at the holy waitress again. We go to pay: we pay with our tickets, missing three euros and something. The cashier, obviously the owner-waiter's brother, gets annoyed because we want to pay the rest by card. A truly Ionesco-esque evening. It's even sad to say the pizza is delicious, because they deserve to close, given their attitude toward their work and customers.

24/07/2025: The pizza was good. I had sausage and broccoli rabe, and my partner had a white 4-cheese pizza. She repeatedly told the waiter (owner) "white." The pizza arrived red. We pointed this out, and the owner threw a tantrum. So, the pizza was good, but the owner/waiter was rude and unfriendly, and he doesn't interact with the public.

14/04/2025: Che bella scoperta, che bel posto e come abbiamo mangiato bene! Una domenica con amici e due cagnoloni… Antipasto misto della casa. Meravigliosa insalata russa e peperoni con bagna cauda. Tajarin al dente e con un condimento leggero e saporito e poi crumiri con zabaione… una bontà. Merita il viaggio da Milano! Torneremo

09/04/2025: Locale tipico del luogo con piatti altrettanto tipici monferrini. La Signora che mi ha accolto è stata gentile e disponibile, anche se era un' ora insolita per un pranzo. I piatti della carta sono tipici del luogo e sono all' altezza di ristoranti blasonati. Gli agnolotti proposti sono superlativi! La Signora è anche molto preparata sui vini proposti come aperitivo e come abbinamento ai piatti. Non posso che fare i complimenti al ristorante "Il Biancospino" una Gemma del Monferrato!

26/04/2025: Historic, intimate place, with very good service and good quality raw materials. Helpful, relaxed staff who put customers at ease. The environment has something reminiscent of a mountain refuge, a personal opinion, but still intimate and rural. The "mise en place" needs improvement as well as some dishes. Prices in line with the quality.

25/07/2025: The staff were friendly and super helpful. The hotel was clean and welcoming. The pizza was very good. We were there after a minor accident on the highway, but they welcomed us warmly and helpfully. Despite our misfortune, we were very fortunate.

16/07/2025: I'd like to understand why these pseudo-organizations, incapable of any kind of management, make deals with Smartbox/Wonderbox; gift box holders are treated like second-class visitors. We chose the property from the Wonderbox website, and to book, we were told to call (to an unreachable number, the same one you find listed here on Google), check availability, and provide the gift box number as usual. After finding another number on the website, a fantastic person answered, saying that Smartboxes were unavailable all summer, and that I could check availability myself directly on the Wonderbox website, when in reality, that's not the case. Now I'm wondering why there's no availability for Smartboxes; they still don't get the money?

13/07/2025: We spent one night here. The owners were very friendly, and the bar was nice with a small menu. Great views.

14/03/2025: I often use them, especially for birthday cakes which I consider very good and well decorated, and once also at a good price, I fear that, unfortunately, recently they have raised the prices a bit too much, too bad.

26/02/2025: The chocolate was excellent, I ate the very good classic panettone at Christmas, not excessively sweet and just the right amount of softness, the other day my mum had the fruit plum cake, splendid. Highly recommended

02/06/2025: A very good surprise just a stone's throw from the Cittadella bridge, a few meters from the large free parking lot in Piazza Gobetti. As a cover charge they brought an excellent pizza base topped with salt, various spices and oil, so good that we had to ask for seconds several times. I had some sea bass ravioli with crab sauce, really excellent, highly recommended (if you can find them, since it's off the menu). The packages with cherry tomatoes and pistachio pesto are also good. We didn't really like the tuna carpaccio in walnut sauce: the fish itself was not very tasty, and the walnut sauce was almost non-existent. The staff was very friendly, with the chefs stopping to chat with us several times.

01/08/2025: Dinner July 2025. This place has a classic pizzeria-restaurant style. Reservations are recommended on weekends. Friendly staff and fairly quick service. The thin-crust pizza was good, as was the tuna carpaccio and the pasta dishes. They brought us a focaccia to accompany it, which we enjoyed. Excellent value.
