13/07/2025: My favorite place is always a sure thing. The food is excellent in terms of freshness and craftsmanship, and the cuisine is home-cooked from appetizers to desserts. Typical Piedmontese, but suitable for everyone; everything can be arranged and adapted to suit each individual. Luciana and chef Francesco are unique in their courtesy, helpfulness, and kindness. A special treat? For animal lovers, ask for Leo.

16/08/2025: We spent a wonderful evening at Osteria Il Barrique, seated on their delightful terrace. The place is run by a young, dynamic, and passionate team, and this is evident in every detail. The food was excellent, with flavorful and perfectly executed dishes. We were recommended a very good Bonvin, a choice that enhanced our meal. Everything was simply perfect. The big surprise came with dessert: a silky and delicate panna cotta, probably one of the best we've ever tasted. In summary: a warm welcome, charming setting, excellent cuisine, and a fine selection of wines. We highly recommend this place and will gladly return.

19/07/2025: I ate well, the raw materials were of high quality, the menu was innovative, the service was a bit detached, the location had great potential, but I have to make a point... the website does not specify that to reach the restaurant, there is a steep climb, I did not have any inconvenience but if there had been a person with some difficulty with me... it would have been a problem, I advise the owner to mention this when booking.

02/08/2025: Overall a very nice find in Stresa, Italy. Went there for dinner as a couple. It’s a Michelin listed restaurant (2024 and 2025). The food was quite nice though I wouldn’t say all the dishes were exceptional. The flan was very nice as was the seafood pasta. I would definitely recommend having a meal there once if you like authentic Italian fare. Prices were very reasonable as well.

02/08/2025: We ate on the terrace, so the atmosphere was very nice. But the interior didn't seem very refined. The portions were very small and the prices were way too high. The staff were friendly, but they asked us several times if we wanted dessert, and it seemed like we needed to vacate the table as soon as possible. Other customers got up to ask for water. Others showed up at 8:15 with an 8:00 reservation, and their table had already been taken. They don't deserve a Michelin recommendation.

19/08/2025: The cuisine and dishes are excellent. Typical Abruzzo recipes are served with care and attention. I recommend it.

The tagliolini with lake ragù were incredible, one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. The rest of the dishes were also very good. Recommended and definitely worth returning to.

07/09/2025: Excellent lunch. Good food and unusual for us French. Only problem! The service is different depending on the menu you take, we were not entitled to the wine list and the explanations on the dishes are very approximate. This gave us some good surprises all the same. It lacks a bit of a smile... as for the wine, it is excellent. And the bill is reasonable... and the service was expeditious (it's not Mc Do but almost 🤣)...

23/08/2025: We've been several times for lunch or dinner, and La Pineta is always a great choice. Impeccable service, a delicious traditional Piedmontese menu, and now vegetarian and vegan options are also available. Highly recommended.
