All the best. Tried it for lunch. Maybe 25 euros for a business lunch isn't cheap, but it's very low compared to the menu. Excellent. Update May 2025. Even better. A fantastic appetizer, two first courses to applaud, and a wild boar that tastes like boiled meat from Carrù (obviously a metaphor). I hope to return within another 6 years.

Trattoria del Peso is my go-to place for birthdays and family lunches, because you're truly welcomed like you're at a relative's house. This year, it was my birthday, last Sunday. They offer a fixed menu, so you arrive promptly and are all served together. No frills, just high-quality Piedmontese cuisine: fresh homemade pasta, cheeses, appetizers, spectacular desserts, and, of course, Signora Enrica with her Piedmontese wit. Reservations and punctuality are mandatory.

I went for lunch at this lovely trattoria, which I found online, and the reviews left by others convinced me. The place is attractively decorated, and its simplicity makes for a pleasant lunch. The food is served without an à la carte menu (I went on a Saturday), and the courses follow one another, starting with excellent appetizers and ending with dessert, all accompanied by house wine and, of course, water. The quality of the food is excellent, fully reflecting Piedmontese tradition.

Excellent product quality and truly delicious dishes. The lady is very nice and friendly. The price is also reasonable for the excellent quality of the cuisine. Highly recommended.

02/05/2026: I'll start by saying we weren't able to go due to our baby's illness...obviously last minute! They were kind enough to let us know over the May 1st long weekend that they wouldn't charge us anything! That's not a given these days. We'll be rescheduling our trip soon thanks to the infinite kindness of the staff and owners! See you soon.
30/04/2026: Excellent location overlooking the entire valley from Monforte almost to Alba. Excellent facility, always present, very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent restaurant with good wine pairings at more than reasonable prices. The blind wine tastings are wonderful.

13/02/2026: Albergo Della Pace is a true haven of peace nestled in a charming village. A magnificent, welcoming, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable place to stay. The cuisine is generous and varied, prepared with high-quality local ingredients. The facilities are superb: the rooms are tastefully decorated, well-equipped, and offer excellent comfort. And the spa area provides a moment of absolute relaxation! The welcome is exceptional: warm, caring, and incredibly kind, with a single desire: to please and to be available at all times. A huge thank you to Manuela, Raffaele, and their family for this wonderful stay. We can't wait to come back!
