24/05/2026: Authentic, well-cooked, and delicious recipes at a great price. A pleasant family atmosphere. Dishes often served straight from the pan, just like at home! Our two-year-old son ate and loved every dish! Barbara is also incredibly kind to people: our son was tired and crying at the end of dinner, and Barbara stepped in and gave him a dinosaur car...which our son loved and still plays with a lot! Thank you so much, Barbara! Even though we live in Switzerland, you'll definitely see us again!

03/05/2026: I'm thrilled with this place. Highly recommended!! The food is plentiful and high-quality. The place is well-kept and not at all crowded, with fast and friendly service. Customer service is excellent, and the quality/quantity/price ratio is excellent. From appetizer to dessert, everything is delicious. I recommend the gnocchi and polenta with sausage. The tiramisu and polenta with gorgonzola are also excellent.

14/05/2026: The pizza was quite good, but I didn't like the vegetables on the vegetarian pizza because they weren't seasoned. I was disappointed, however, that they didn't offer any Italian non-alcoholic drinks, only Coca-Cola. I would have preferred Mole Cola, Lemon Soda, or Estathe instead!

11/06/2026: Good service. Starter I had of veal and tuna sauce was both enormous and very good. Unfortunately the second course of rabbit was tough and overcooked. Rabbit has to be cooked slowly and over a long time as it was in another restaurant nearby.

12/05/2026: The service was excellent, as was the selection on the wine list. The veal with tuna sauce was excellent. I also really enjoyed the dessert. The manager was very nice, stopping by to chat with me at checkout and asking how I was enjoying my meal.

07/06/2026: Despite the website clearly stating Sunday opening hours as 12:00, the restaurant didn't open until 12:30. Furthermore, although the mixed appetizer listed on the menu also included a hot appetizer of the day, it wasn't served, and when asked about it, the waiter replied that it's only served in the winter season (!!!).

15/02/2026: February 14, 2024 More than a month has passed since our dinner. It was a lovely evening: excellent food, well-served, friendly and competent service, and a pleasant conversation with the chef at the end of the evening. The dinner had a fixed fish menu, which, from aperitif to appetizer to dessert, was impeccable with a fantastic balance of flavors. The request for a second main course was also greatly appreciated. I gave it 4 stars because, given the quality of the food, the impressive wine list, and the prices typical of a high-end restaurant, the location is stuck in the 1990s. At the very least, the bathrooms should be redone and the plastic doors replaced. Recommended. February 14, 2026 I can confirm the previous review to the letter.

06/04/2026: Quick lunch while skiing I'd been there years ago and had fond memories Plate of polenta and sausage and one of pumpkin soup Polenta of poor quality, sour tomato and sweet sausage? I'm sorry, but the price/quality ratio isn't there.

09/12/2025: A beautiful farmhouse just a few kilometers from the center of La Morra in the Langhe. Spacious, clean, and welcoming rooms. Friendly owners. The property boasts a large garden and a swimming pool, a real highlight in the summer. There's an on-site restaurant. A delicious breakfast featuring local produce. Parking is available behind the property.

07/12/2025: Ca' d'Olga plays an interesting game between Langhe tradition and a desire to be bold. The menu is well thought out: all the great classics are there, reassuring and recognizable, but every now and then a bolder pairing emerges that avoids the "seen a thousand times before" effect. A cuisine that knows where to put its feet, but doesn't nail them to the floor. Among the most successful dishes are the macarons del frèt, centered and well-balanced, and a remarkable veal cheek, tender as promised and consistent down to the last bite. Raw ingredients are treated with respect, cooked precisely, and no unnecessary virtuosity. The wine list is discreet and consistent with the region, without encyclopedic pretensions. A downside: the selection by the glass, especially for dessert wines, is rather limited. A shame, because it somewhat breaks the finale. The service is informal but efficient: quick, courteous, without the rigidity of a restaurant that "takes itself too seriously." They make you feel at ease, and that's saying something. The location is isolated, off the beaten track, but it makes up for it with a spectacular view of the Langhe, almost like an agricultural Las Vegas: hills instead of neon lights, definitely better that way. Fair price, no surprises or scams disguised as creativity. In short: a solid, well-balanced place, where tradition and curiosity coexist without stepping on each other's toes. Worth the detour.
