29/12/2025: The quality of the food is good but the prices are way too high

12/12/2025: Fantastic!!! As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a wonderful aroma! The smell of bread, just like the bakeries of old. The shop is super well-stocked; I arrived at 5 pm and there was still a wide selection of bread, breadsticks, desserts, and pizzas. Everything was so fresh! This is already my second time here because it was an incredible discovery. Whenever I come to Turin, it will be my regular stop. The owner is incredibly kind, and that's the bakery's plus. I highly recommend it.

06/05/2025: Esperienza sempre positiva all’Orto del Frate. Ci torniamo spesso ogni volta che saliamo, sia in coppia, in famiglia o con amici. È uno di quei posti dove sai cosa aspettarti: cucina semplice, porzioni giuste, ambiente rilassato. Il locale non è particolarmente caratteristico, ma è comodo e piacevole, perfetto per una pausa dopo una giornata sulla neve o per una cena informale. Niente di memorabile, ma mai una delusione. Un punto fermo affidabile a Sauze.

27/03/2025: Nightmare restaurant! Goulash that wasn't microwaved goulash, The Fork discount not applied.

27/03/2025: Absolutely awful food. The menu was dictated verbally without mentioning prices, so we had to ask for them for each dish. We ordered goulash, but it was nothing like goulash at all; it was a poorly made Italian stew, devoid of any love or flavor, and it seemed reheated (badly, at that) because some parts were hotter than others. Furthermore, the discount wasn't applied. The owner apologized for the misunderstanding and said she'd take €6 off our bill anyway, but at a certain point, she pretended nothing had happened and didn't even give us the promised discount (even though it should have been more than €6 on TheFork). Customers were completely fooled. In short: overpriced and disgusting dishes. If you want to eat well, forget about this place. If you don't have the skills to run a restaurant that serves food, you should really leave it alone.

22/10/2025: I always go to this bar because it's conveniently located in the area, and it's nice that it's open 24/7. Unfortunately, it's frequented by the wrong crowd and is always dirty. Its biggest flaw: the bartenders. They're hiring more and more young women who focus more on chatting than on service. Lately, in the evenings, there's always a girl with wavy black hair and glasses: she doesn't serve tables, even though she pays 0.50 cents extra. Furthermore, we sat for quite a while, ordering various items, and each time, we were charged a 0.50 cent service fee, which is unacceptable, without ever giving us a receipt. She's rude and impolite. I recommend reviewing the bartenders; the place is very nice, but it's a shame.

02/05/2026: Terrible. Interminable wait times. Cocktails made any which way I can. €3 per person for a plate of fries fried in 1930s oil, without cutlery, napkins, or placemats. €40 for two fries, a beer, and a mojito. And let's not even talk about the cleanliness. We'll come back in another life. Maybe.

19/04/2026: Historic place, but average cleanliness. It also opens at 8:00 a.m. and the croissants are ready at 8:30 a.m., so breakfast is available in installments. It's nice that everyone is young, but it could be improved.

23/01/2026: It's been years since I've been to Deiro for a good hot chocolate... I had it a few days ago, and it wasn't even close to the ones I remembered, uniquely dense. Now it's runny, like so many others... As for the ambiance, despite the original furnishings, it could use a little updating, keeping with tradition but not smelling musty... Disappointment

29/12/2025: Great place to eat, perhaps after a good day of skiing. We've dined here several times, trying both the meats and the pizzas, all very good. The service was prompt and very friendly. Whenever we go to Prato Nevoso, we have at least one dinner here.

11/08/2025: An explosion of flavors as you savor the meat. The pizza feels like being back in Naples. Friendly staff and fast service. Reasonable price. I'll definitely be back!!

14/11/2025: Over the years, I've noticed the quality of the focaccia bar decline; the hot dishes remain standard, but the service leaves much to be desired in terms of customer service and, above all, guys: there's no soap in the bathroom, even at 11:00 a.m. before the rush of lunch customers begins, and more attention needs to be paid to bathroom hygiene. It doesn't exist. A restaurant-bar is judged first and foremost by how well it keeps its bathrooms, not just by what's on your plate!

17/08/2025: The view is beautiful, the area is very quiet, and the staff are very kind and helpful. I honestly found the fixed menu price of 35 euros to be excessive considering the food, but that can be subjective. I'm a very adaptable person and I love these places, but there must be a combination of things that make staying in a place like this pleasant. In fact, what really displeased me was the neglect of the place, which, if it were well-maintained inside and out, would be nothing short of stunning. The goat pens are crumbling and patched up in a haphazard way, and in some places even dangerous for the animals. There are several broken and abandoned objects. In short, I'm sorry, but I don't feel like recommending it to friends.

10/08/2025: An unpleasant end to the day at this establishment. A child in our group sat down on a filthy armchair and found some money stuffed between the cushions (perhaps belonging to a customer who had passed by a while ago). A young waitress, hearing about it, insisted that the money (abandoned and crumpled between the seats of the armchair) belonged to a certain Davide (perhaps the owner?). To make a long story short, this waitress began by telling one of our group, "I'm not coming to steal from your house, ma'am," thus insinuating that the child had stolen the money and wanted it back... a very serious matter, bordering on criminal prosecution!

06/04/2026: We stopped by chance during a motorcycle ride, attracted by the sign "Osteria," which has nothing to do with an osteria... and as soon as we entered, a smell of smoke permeated the old furniture. There's no menu, no prices. We chose, on the cook's advice, an appetizer and a first course of ravioli, where everything was very salty, but tasty, and I don't like too much salt, so I left some food behind... As for the service, I can give a positive note... Too much for an osteria, but it had to justify the price. At the checkout, €100. Let's just say, hope they rip you off for good.

22/03/2026: The restaurant looks like an early 20th-century villa, overflowing with artifacts, but overall it's pleasant. The waitress was friendly and courteous, but the owner, overly apprehensive, wandered around the room barefoot. But let's get to the critical points: when we arrived, there was a cat litter box in the room where we dined. Let's be clear, I love cats, but I don't think a restaurant room, where people eat, is the most appropriate place for a litter box. The food: we chose (so to speak, because the owner decided so) a round of appetizers and a first course. The appetizers didn't live up to the setting; despite an effort to create original pairings, the result was a greasy, flavorless jumble. The first course consisted of flavorless ravioli sitting in a greasy broth and completely covered in parmesan cheese. For two appetizers and two first courses, we paid €100. We will never forget this experience, which we will not repeat for anything in the world.

13/12/2025: Cremeria del Piazzo in Biella is a pleasant stop, especially for a sweet treat in a historic location. The place is welcoming and well-kept, with a warm atmosphere that invites you to linger, perfect for a snack. We stopped for a hot chocolate accompanied by traditional local biscuits. We tried the dark hot chocolate with cream, intense and well-balanced, enriched with a creamy and well-structured whipped cream, which complements the whole experience without being overpowering. The canestrelli, typical biscuits of Biella, were a pleasant discovery: simple but truly delicious, ideal with hot chocolate. The staff is young and friendly, contributing to a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Overall, the value for money is good, and in my opinion, it's a worthwhile stop, especially if you want to indulge in a sweet treat in a charming historical setting.

11/11/2025: The staff were unpleasant from the moment you walked in the door; so much so that when I entered and realized I didn't understand the language, they wouldn't even look me in the face to serve me, so I left without ordering anything.

16/08/2025: The barists are very nice! The cocktails are super good. I recommend their heartfelt cocktails of the month to all tourists!

07/02/2026: Failed. I'm sorry to say this, but the quality has gone down and the prices have gone up. They NEVER leave a receipt for home deliveries, and I think it's the only pizzeria in the world that charges €0.40 cents for each packet of ketchup (if you order fried food). And I find the phone ID very intrusive, like as soon as they answer, they already know the caller's name, surname, and address, like they were police officers. The pizza is often greasy, rubbery, or burnt. The ingredients are low-quality.

09/12/2025: ABSOLUTE SCAM We came to this bar tempted by the platter featured in their stories and social media posts. THEY offered us a platter that was half the price of the one in the videos AT THE SAME PRICE. No sandwiches, no fried foods, nothing at all. Just a few slices of cheese and cured meat and 2-3 poorly seasoned bruschettas. Their excuse was that those social media platters were from another era... Too bad the stories were from a few weeks ago. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED! We had come from Alessandria specifically... A disgrace!

26/10/2025: Not recommended, there are often fights and people who are not very friendly, crazy prices for the service offered, mandatory drink (never heard of anything like that)
