Let's start with the owners: one is more grumpy than the other (except for their daughter, who is always very friendly and polite but who, unfortunately, I rarely see behind the counter). It feels like they're doing you a favor when in reality you're bringing them money. They don't like animals, so if your puppy accidentally pees in there, they'll make you pay for it. And what about the rest of the staff? Valentina is fine, but Nathaly is one of the disgraces of this place. A classic busybody who wants to pry into everyone's business by pretending to be a sycophant. The result? I go get cigarettes out of necessity, and that's it. Let's add that I've never seen a receipt... Because that also needs to be said. The NAS (since they make sandwiches where they keep cigarettes) and the Guardia di Finanza (who should teach them how to use receipts and explain that those who pay by card don't have to pay a surcharge) COINCIDLY never come. Could it be that dear Mimmo, as a former Marshal, has a far-sighted eye?

16/11/2025: Too bad...I had fond memories of it a few years ago, but I didn't find the atmosphere I remembered. Everything was very neglected; the place has become gloomy, sad, and unwelcoming. The dishes and menu are still the same as back then, but they're also "neglected." I'm sorry, but for me it's lost a lot of "points."

30/10/2025: The stockfish was good, but the tripe was sour... maybe not fresh; I don't think it was due to the sauce. If it wasn't old, replace the peeled tomatoes!

06/09/2025: The atmosphere is tempting, as it evokes the feel of an old-fashioned tavern, and you're expecting old-fashioned mountain cuisine. In reality, the food is quite disappointing; everything seems prepared in advance, the ingredients don't seem particularly authentic, and the bill, on the other hand, I found extremely overpriced. It's certainly not a place to remember fondly.

04/09/2025: Aside from the fact that there are two places on Google that actually refer to the same place... It went pretty badly. Thursday EVENING (Let's avoid the excuse of lunch or the time, since we arrived at 9 PM), the food was limited in terms of choice, and the quality was the worst thing of all. Appetizers, except for the two crab claws in the container, tasteless rolls, potato smileys, fried "chicken" that tasted more like fried food than chicken, cold, dry, like the one I take out of the fridge the next day. For the first course, I only got as far as the dry and subpar ravioli, finishing with a totally savory rice dish with peas and eggs. The fish counter, which was more than half-empty (I repeat, the time isn't the problem, and justifying it with the lack of traffic isn't a good reason to charge €20 regardless), the meat, on the other hand, was undercooked—sorry, but chicken is also quite harmful if it's pink inside... Two pieces of sushi, mostly surimi, but regardless, the taste was that of rice and that was it. Let's get to the fruit, folks. I was hoping for that, at least, but instead I tasted the sweetest, most nauseating canned peaches of my life. I tried a scoop of profiteroles, and you can imagine why I didn't want a second one. That said, fried ice cream was no longer free but €3 a piece, a plate of grilled food that could be ordered a maximum of two times, and laughter in the face of a customer who said there wasn't much food. Honest. Not as bad as paying €20 per person, minimum, to force-feed everything in this "restaurant."

12/10/2025: Perfect location and friendly staff, but the place is bare and poorly maintained. The most absurd thing is the insane prices. A cappuccino costs €4.50, a water €3, and a tiny tart like the packaged ones costs €4.50. Not even on Isola Bella or Isola Madre did you find these steal prices. Avoid.

05/10/2025: A beautiful location on the lakeside promenade, quiet, well-shaded with adequate umbrellas and a small covered veranda with a perfect view of the lake and its islands. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful lunch: a perfectly cooked entrecote and a slice of beef, along with excellent homemade desserts. The prices are a bit higher than other similar establishments, but the menu is displayed outside and you can consult it before entering. We went, and if we ever return, we'll definitely return. Money well spent for a great experience and delicious food.

26/11/2025: I got a takeout pizza, sausage, and fries. Too bad the fries were half raw. But even more so, too bad about the dead fly I found in the pizza, which was definitely more cooked than the potatoes. Shameful. And also absurd, considering it's the middle of winter and there should be very few flies.

31/10/2025: Please, fellow truck drivers, if you have to load Eva water from Fonti Alta Vale Po, park inside the factory and go and eat at New Wellington, the food is delicious and they are very kind.

27/10/2025: Nikko has gotten much worse. The food quality is poor. The Cantonese rice is made with cheap ham cubes that you have to throw away because they taste inedible. The spring rolls have also changed; they've probably added some vegetables, which makes them heavy and makes them stick in your stomach. Not to mention their chicken... almost raw. I remember their food wasn't like that at all; they've probably changed management and it's only gotten worse. Home delivery was on time.

26/10/2025: You're greeted by a strong stench of rotten meat, poorly cooked dishes, and burnt fried food. Chipped plates. I don't recommend it.

21/07/2025: Good morning everyone, can anyone tell me why the restaurant is closed today, July 21st? There's no notice, but inside you can see plates and glasses on the tables and the lights are on.
