Caffè Marco Deiro In Pollone

Excellent, rare chocolate, pastries and coffee.

We escaped the heat of the city and treated ourselves to a pleasant evening in Oropa. We stopped at Caffè Deiro, sitting at the outdoor tables, where it was truly wonderful: cool, mountain air, and a splendid view of the Sanctuary. We chose two fresh blueberry juices accompanied by a small plate of mixed dry pastries. The service was friendly and fast. Knowing the place for its famous hot chocolate with cream, we couldn't resist ordering a small bowl of whipped cream to enjoy with the biscotti: both were truly excellent, with exceptional whipped cream. The prices were in line with the quality of the service and the offerings. It's a place we'll definitely return to during these warm summer evenings, as well as in the winter for their irresistible hot chocolate.

Everything was excellent! A unique café and pastry shop. Just a little pricey.
