03/08/2025: This place wins with its location and outstanding service. The food was good but could taste more and the meat dish was unfortunately a bit dry so the food could definitely get an upgrade. All and all.. a nice place to spend your evening with friends and family.

01/08/2025: Very good tomato sauce pasta. Very friendly staff. Nice place to sit, on the square outside the church. Everyone was very happy with the food and wine. Extremely large wine list.

25/05/2025: Simply amazing pizza, every time we are in the area lunch or dinner at Pizzificio Saraceno is a must. In addition to classic pizzas, the menu also offers gourmet pizzas. The service is informal, the lady is very nice and helpful. The place is nice, redone about 5 years ago since they opened. Highly recommended

16/05/2025: Returning after several years in Turin, the stop was mandatory, quality always at the top, owners and staff very kind and fast service despite the place being almost full. I took as always a margherita, the pizza par excellence of the Campania art. Recommended

15/08/2025: I had the pleasure of staying at this splendid inn nestled in pristine nature. The peace here is unique: even while lounging by the pool, you might spot wild rabbits scurrying around, reminding you that you're staying in an authentic and special place. The service is impeccable: the staff are extremely kind, helpful, and attentive to your every need, making you feel pampered without ever being intrusive. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit: all the tables are outdoors, perfect for enjoying the fresh air and the view, and the dishes are rich, carefully prepared, and made with quality ingredients. A place I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking relaxation, nature, and a genuine welcome. I'll definitely be back!

10/08/2025: I'll talk about the restaurant since I wasn't a guest at the hotel. The place is always wonderful and welcoming, with a relaxing and peaceful view of the Gavi hills. I appreciated the choice of dining on the outdoor veranda, with a round table that I always find comfortable and elegant. The service was excellent, prompt and professional. The welcome entree was pleasant and always well received. The appetizers weren't overly bold, but tasted good and delicate, but the fried zucchini flowers were lacking something. My wife was disappointed with her marinated trout; perhaps her expectations were too high. I found the risotto with peppers, shrimp, and olives delicious and surprisingly generous. I finished the meal with a tasting of local cheeses, which I know very well and always appreciate. They excel at pairing flowers and mixed greens with the usual jams and honey. I would have greatly appreciated a little more attention to the wine pairings, although the sommelier seemed attentive and knowledgeable. The desserts ordered by other diners didn't seem up to par, even according to their own comments. Overall, a good dinner, but not exceptional. The lightness and use of almost all local ingredients were certainly appreciated. Final cost €340 (4 people and 2 bottles of wine)

07/09/2025: I had my birthday lunch at this fantastic location, with a stunning view and a delightfully quiet setting. The kindness of the staff and the mastery of the chef's dishes made for an unforgettable experience. I definitely recommend it and would definitely return. It was truly a fantastic discovery.

10/08/2025: The pizza and farinata are amazing. The place is a bit small, but I usually order takeout. Plus, specifically for takeout, the pizzas (and the farinata) are packaged in aluminum containers that keep them freshly baked until they reach your home (and I don't live very close).

08/08/2025: Despite the small and crowded atmosphere, the farinata and pan pizza are exceptional, among the best I've ever had. I'm giving it "only" 3 stars because I would have appreciated a little more kindness from the owner. When customers come in, even if you're terribly busy with your work, a "Good evening" is the bare minimum. When you order two portions of farinata and only one arrives because there's no more ready at 8:20 PM, at least they apologize (plus, the second portion and the pizza arrived at the same time). The rest of the staff, however, is more courteous. Best regards Lorenzo

Being pregnant, I explained some dietary requirements and was truly impressed by how thorough, attentive, and helpful they were in managing every detail of the meal. The place is beautiful, well-kept, and clean, with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was kind at all times, always with a smile and a care that truly makes the difference. Thank you again for making me feel so relaxed and pampered. I will definitely be back!

23/08/2025: I was there last night, August 23rd. It was our first time there. It's a nice place, but we were greeted a bit coldly, perhaps because we hadn't booked, as it was a last-minute decision. We were assigned a tiny table, backed up against a staircase, with several items stacked on top, further reducing the available space. This was an incomprehensible choice, as the room wasn't full, and when we left, I noticed several empty tables, even outside, which, given the mild weather, would have been perfect for us. When the wine arrived, we struggled to find a place to set the wine rack, and we couldn't even toast without knocking something off the table. The wait staff was moving around rather frenetically, making us feel rushed. The menu was written on chalkboards that were moved from table to table, further increasing the sense of urgency. The dish we ordered was good, but I was charged €28 for a bottle of non-DOCG Prosecco that I probably would have paid €5 at the supermarket. In short, I wanted to spend a quiet, romantic evening with my girlfriend, and I absolutely didn't get it. On top of that, I also paid an excessively high bill. €66 for a dish each and a bottle of mediocre Prosecco. Needless to say, that's all they got from me.

26/08/2025: Excellent food, very good gluten-free pizza (baked in a regular oven), which is why there's a slightly longer wait than for other pizzas. Fried foods are good, and many other gluten-free dishes are available. Prices are listed on the menu, including gluten-free options. Clean atmosphere, and friendly and helpful staff. Takeout available. Recommended.

20/07/2025: Charming Piedmontese restaurant. Excellent service, very sweet, good recommendations. Amazing food. The recommended Barbera was refreshing, smooth, fruity and went with everything.

04/08/2025: During my advanced training at the Truffle Network, I ate and stayed overnight at the family-run Hotel La Genzianella. Hostess Cristiana is the soul of the place—with her heart and soul, she makes you feel immediately welcome. The food is fantastic, and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

28/08/2025: Apart from the fact that for someone like me, the grilled chicken breast was a very small portion (maybe I'm used to it being too good), it was all good, but I recommend the apple cider zabaglione to everyone, it makes up for the disappointment of the grilled chicken 🤣👍🏼

04/07/2025: A must-see when I'm in the area. True, quality Piedmontese cuisine, unfortunately little known and the Piedmontese do very little to promote it, but here it's all a feast of flavors. The fresh pasta is also excellent and I say this as a DOC Emilian but it must be recognized that they are good. Very kind and friendly staff

03/09/2025: The pizza overall is quite good and well-made, and the staff is very kind and helpful. However, I did notice one particular detail: my pizza (provolone and pepper) had an aftertaste reminiscent of salmon, or at least something fishy. Personally, it didn't bother me, but it could be a problem for those with allergies or who are very sensitive to these flavors. A small point that could be improved in an otherwise worthy pizzeria.

30/08/2025: We were a group of 11 and decided on the pizza tour. FINALLY something different. The dough was delicious and super digestible. Delicious pizzas. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back. €15 for the pizza tour, including a Nutella pizza to finish.
