04/05/2025: An excellent restaurant of another level all based on fish there are both raw, cooked and au gratin we found ourselves in an evening with four three friends I must say a great restaurant As for the excellent service friendly smiling guys and a fast and attentive service I congratulate you on the truly excellent food from the raw seafood appetizers tartare prawns really fresh fish as a second course an excellent grilled meat all cooked to perfection except for the sea bass slightly ahead of cooking but still excellent fish very good desserts and we were also offered a round of small homemade sweets with limoncello and a truly excellent bay leaf bitters the price paid of 110 euros per person was really well spent We were really satisfied in a beautiful and elegant location I could even say romantic Thanks for the first evening and good food

04/05/2025: Had lunch choosing a seafood menu. Fried vegetables, strips with octopus sauce, anchovies on a bed of salad, 2 desserts, water and wine. 65 euros for 2. All very good and reasonable cost for being fish. To go back, maybe you need to be very calm and in no hurry because the service was quite slow. Perhaps increasing the staff, both in the kitchen and in the dining room could shorten the time.

26/11/2024: Excellent food in a very well furnished place (and embellished with large murals) and served by attentive and friendly staff. We were very impressed by the carbonara with Mazara prawns and bacon, a meat-fish combination that we had never tried but which went well. Also worth mentioning is the red turnip millefeuille with Robiola cream and balsamic vinegar reduction, very particular and refined (it has a really strong flavor so I recommend it only if you really like red turnip). Otherwise, among the appetizers I highly recommend the cold cuts platter with fried gnocco.

03/05/2025: Posto incantevole , cibo buono ma propongono una pietanza e poi ne portano un altra ( patate bollite e non al forno ) . Ordiniamo 2 orate e ne arriva una perché essendo leggermente più grande lo chef decide di proporne 1 senza avvisarci , facendo presente della poca quantità e quindi dell errore avvenuto , si giustificano dicendo dell’errore dello chef e che aveva interpretato male la comanda . Per compensare l’errore ci portano dei cannolicchi . Quel giorno tutti hanno bevuto biancolella e quindi c’era solo caldo , e poi il clou è stato i fuori menù senza prezzo ( sul conto viene addebitato un costo del pesce senza averlo pesato in nostra presenza ) …. Peccato che Antonino non rispondeva … era impegnato INADEGUATI 🤷‍♂️

19/04/2025: Beautiful trattoria where time seems to have stopped, genuine flavours, simple dishes cooked with skill, good raw materials, authentic durum wheat bread, no music or television in the background. In short, the lunch you would like to have, with the traditional taste you expect and find yourself with pleasure in a peaceful environment. Last time I had octopus salad and mixed grilled fish, with complimentary delicious homemade bruschetta, all delicious. Truly attentive service and with a touch of reserved kindness, also from another era. If I lived in Catania I would be a regular.

22/03/2025: Questo locale è stata una piacevole scoperta! L’ambiente è curato e raccolto, con pochi tavoli, il che rende la serata tranquilla e intima, senza il fastidio della confusione. L’atmosfera è resa ancora più piacevole dalla musica dal vivo al pianoforte, un tocco che aggiunge eleganza e relax all’esperienza. Le pietanze sono gustose e ben presentate, con accostamenti di sapori ricercati che escono dalla classica proposta, dimostrando attenzione alla qualità e alla creatività. Il conto, in linea con la qualità offerta, è onesto e giustificato dall’esperienza complessiva, che risulta molto soddisfacente. 27/04/2025: Recommended by friends, we finally managed to try it and I must say that in Avola it is among the best. Very pleasant place, well furnished, with a relaxing atmosphere. We chose the fish menu and were satisfied with the quality and quantity. The staff is present, numerous and ready. Prices are not prohibitive. We will be back!

We had lunch here with our almost two-year-old daughter and in addition to the high chair and an ad hoc menu for children, we found a lot of attention paid to the youngest customers.
