In the name of Caliendo there are memories of many childhood and adolescence dinners with family and friends, when it was in front of the villa in Bacoli and it was both a restaurant and a pizzeria. For the first time, I tried the new Caliendo, the one that has taken on a more refined and refined look from rustic and traditional cuisine, and I must say that I am enthusiastic about this change. In all the dishes I ate, I found a high-level study in the combination of flavors I had never tried before, which gave my palate a pleasant and unforgettable experience. The appetizer with 8 tastings (which includes their traditional cup of minced mussels and crostini) is absolutely worth trying, because each one is a combination of fish and garnishes studied ad hoc, particular and surprising. The fried calamari is excellent and the octopus on mashed potatoes with Spritz jelly is poetry, a riot of colours, smells and flavours. The menu presents interesting proposals but, unfortunately, it is done a little badly (digital), approximate in the description of some dishes and the allergens are not indicated next to each of these, but the dining room staff was very attentive to my dietary needs . The location is intimate and welcoming, with sober and simple furnishings, and a sea view over the entire Gulf of Naples which looks like a huge painting that matches perfectly with the colors of the room. The service was fast and impeccable and the quality-price ratio was good, even if the €3 cover charge is something I don't like. I'll venture a suggestion: enlarging the parking lot could be a good idea.

Nice place a little hidden. We only found it because of the positive reviews but they were all deserved. Good food in the right quantities and of excellent quality.

È stata la nostra prima volta in questo locale e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Abbiamo pranzato nel cortile interno, bello e confortevole poiché dotato di stufe, gustando pietanze dagli accostamenti insoliti ma ben calibrati. Torneremo certamente per approfondire

Locale posto tra un cortile ed uno spazio coperto di una vecchia casa, probabilmente, di pescatori. Atmosfera di altri tempi, ma con cucina moderna. Qualità eccellente, ottima "fantasia" nei piatti con abbinamenti diversi, ma molto validi. Servizio cordiale, prezzi corrispondenti al servizio ed alla qualità.
