The view is fantastic from the window seats! Mixed opinions on the food from my group, but my pizza (and the other one ordered) was so tough, I couldn't cut it with a knife. Chewy, unpleasant and very little topping. Nothing like the pizza normally found in this area. Others in my group (who had pasta) enjoyed their food though.

Probably the best pizza (we only tried the Margherita... 3 nights in a row;) near the Marina if Seiano. There's a nice walk up from the square near San Antonio (10'). They also have amazing tarts for dessert - drenched in alcohol!

So.. Mussells we're dreadful steamed in what tasted like water. Mains were lovely, but.... the waiter and waitress were dreadful, faces like smaked you know what. Really brought the atmosphere down. Think they are in the wrong job. Lovely setting spoilt by front of house....

The service wasn't great, but the food quality for the price is really good. The restaurant can be very warm if you have an earlier dinner when the sun is still out. Great selection of desserts (you can ask for one in the refrigerated case if there isn't one you want on the menu).

One of the most wonderful weekends I've ever spent with my wife has just ended. In Seiano, a hamlet of Vico Equense, we found a table at the Ma Che Bontà restaurant on two occasions. The cuisine was extraordinary, as was the service from the extremely friendly staff...all while we admired the breathtaking view of the Sorrento peninsula.

This restaurant was right across from our hotel; we thought it was just a small, quick-service pizza place. We were more than surprised by how beautiful it was. A view of Mount Vesuvius and the sea, walls painted in the Italian style—simply magnificent. Very cozy and romantic, in a Neapolitan style. Being a very picky eater, I can tell you that the food was delicious! The quality is undeniable! I highly recommend this place!

07/08/2026: Many friends have always spoken highly of this place, yet the reality far exceeded my expectations. Tavernetta Colauri isn't just a restaurant; you experience it completely. As soon as you arrive, you're immersed in a warm, welcoming setting, meticulously curated down to the smallest detail. The staff is extremely professional; we were looked after the entire time by Oreste, a delightful, professional, and extremely knowledgeable person. He pampered us with every course we requested, making us feel full and satisfied even just by carefully describing the dishes. His colleagues, too, are extremely helpful, professional, and always ready to welcome you with a smile. As for the food, the high quality and deliciousness of every dish, from appetizer to dessert, is indescribable. The prices are fair—in fact, reasonable—for everything this place offers. I highly recommend it!!!

But if you want soul, flavor, and the kind of warmth that makes you feel like family—this is your spot. From the moment we walked in, we were enveloped by the smells of garlic, fresh basil, and simmering tomatoes. The taverna is rustic and small, but cozy, with checkered tablecloths, and walls covered in vintage photos that tell stories of decades past. The owner greeted us with a booming "Benvenuti!". The food? Absolute magic. I started with the mozzarella in carrozza, which was so creamy it practically melted on contact with my knife. For my main, I ordered the ziti alla genovese, tossed in a meat and sweet onion sauce that had clearly been simmering for hours. It was rich, savory, and deeply comforting. The wine list is entirely Italian and thoughtfully curated. Our server recommended a velvety Aglianico that paired perfectly with every course. Dessert was the showstopper: tiramisu that was light as a cloud, with just the right kick of espresso and a dusting of cocoa that made us close our eyes with every bite.
