01/10/2025: One of the best restaurants in the province of Lecce. I've known it for many years, and every time I go, it's always a surprise. It's one of the few that satisfies me in every way. Excellent food, excellent service, and a stunning location.

23/09/2025: I really don't like leaving negative reviews. In fact I never do (truly I'm not just saying this) because I know the effect they can have an a business. However I think people should get a glimpse of the restaurant before coming here to spend a ton of money for subpar quality food. How can you be a in a region with an absolute surplus of olive oil and have food this bland at exorbiant prices. I don't think there was a grain of salt on any dish. It's also criminal to call an appetizer red prawns then get 4 pieces of the tail of a prawn that is barely bigger than a finger nail. I would have also rather been spared the "mixed greens" under my octopus as it was just that. Mixed green with nothing on them and majority of the leaves were rotten. Also a lobster pasta dish in which it requires you to crack your own lobster with your hands? Trying to make food into something "artistic" is the downfall of dining. Put something on the late that is worth eating and priced fairly. 45 minutes between starters and mains is a no for me as well. Rest assured this is an honest review....sadly

16/10/2025: Lovely atmosphere and welcoming atmosphere. We had mussel soup as an appetizer and grilled sea bass and vegetables as a main course. The food was excellent. However, the total bill was a bit disappointing. The quality/price ratio was too low for the location and the outskirts of town.

14/10/2025: I stopped in for a quick lunch after reading the reviews. The welcome was warm and the place was nice. I ordered a seafood salad, completely tasteless and of questionable quality, and some roasted cuttlefish, which were neither good nor bad.

26/08/2025: When you want fresh, delicious fish, truly well-cooked and of high quality, you have to trust Pasquale. I've always been amazed by the quality of the fish and how well he prepares it. The service is always courteous and efficient, but in an environment that makes you feel at home. The only downside is that it's small, so you need to book. The price is absolutely fair.

17/09/2025: I can't answer your question. Specifically, the appetizer seemed to be food that hadn't been frozen but simply defrosted. Furthermore, it hadn't been cleaned, and after I pointed this out to you, you took it back, gave it a minimal cleaning, and then brought it back dirty. This caused me to have diarrhea several times that evening and the next day. The first course was loose and tasteless—even in a cafeteria, the food isn't this bad. The second course was the same raw fish as the appetizer, defrosted, but grilled, so it was passable. The white wine was slightly cooler than room temperature, when it should be served cold. I'm truly sorry, as I've been to your restaurant several times and have always had a great experience, but after this, I wouldn't come back even for free.

15/09/2025: No hospitality, tough Pinza with sour sauce, dirty chairs, greasy and smelly napkins, lousy fried food, dirty place. We'll never go back.

21/10/2025: Our stay was wonderful. The staff upgraded us, but either way, we’re friendly and accommodating.

20/10/2025: My wife and I just completed our fifth stay at buca di bacco hotel and each trip keeps getting better.From the remodeled rooms to the new breakfast set up it keeps getting better. My advice is stay at least a week so you can try every pastry at breakfast

06/10/2025: When the restaurant is full, it's very noisy. The menu is repetitive. The first courses are very small portions, the appetizers are plentiful, and the second courses are few. The desserts are excellent. We'll be back, though.

26/09/2025: One of my favorite places, where lunch or dinner overlooking the sea becomes a unique experience. The location is magical, adjacent to the Scalambri Tower, a true corner of paradise that allows you to experience moments of tasting in perfect harmony with a dreamlike landscape. The cuisine here is excellent, and the wine cellar is also quite good. This is a testament to the quality of the service that has been repeated over and over again over the years. 09/10/2025: Delightful! We did the 6 course tasting for dinner, and loved it. Definitely a special occasion place. The presentation and service was impeccable. Maybe because we were inside, the room was comfortable in every way. The whole experience from a custom cocktail, to the black garlic chocolate at the end was great. Highly recommend.

02/11/2025: I went to this place for dinner with friends and I have to say it went very well. Friendly staff, excellent service, top-quality food. I had mixed fried fish, pizza, and dessert. They offered us a very good mousse while we waited for our appetizers, and digestifs at the end of the evening. The wait times between courses were perfect. The dinner went very pleasantly. Excellent value for money. I saw dishes pass by that made me exclaim, "Next time I come back, I'll want to eat them (like the pork shank with potatoes). Recommended place.

13/10/2025: The cappelletti in brodo were spectacular, strictly handmade by "mama," and I'm absolutely delighted. The rest of the staff was equally as friendly, well-organized, and even quick, even though there were 10 of us and we all ordered different dishes. I also found the meat to be excellent, very tender, the draft Forst beer was TOP, and the strawberry and mascarpone basket was superb. I thank the lady at the hotel who recommended it to me, because it deserves all the 5 stars I gave it.

11/10/2025: Seafood cuisine ❤💙 Informal atmosphere. The food is very good at a fair price. I recommend the fish olives and the roasted calamari. Fried food is well done. Oysters are served as they should be. Excellent service in the dining room with professional advice on the right wine to pair with the food. Money well spent. I like it. 22/09/2025: I saw many people eating pizza, I tried the penne alla vodka which was very good, the right portion, however I didn't appreciate the cotoletta alla bolognese, the flavour of the cream was evident throughout, definitely too heavy, fair prices, if you want to eat fish the prices go up a bit
