20/08/2025: We ate at this restaurant in early August and it was a pleasant discovery! The appetizers and first courses were truly delicious, excellent value, and the staff was friendly and helpful! NB: He also participated in the 4 restaurants!

14/08/2025: A wonderful location surrounded by greenery and filled with the scent of flowers. Refined seafood dishes; it's a pleasure to sample and discover ever-changing combinations. Finally, not your typical seafood restaurant, but one that prioritizes the freshness and quality of the ingredients. An intimate and relaxing atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

20/06/2025: This restaurant is highly recommended. Fresh fish and seafood in all possible variations. Homemade pasta and many dishes that aren't on the menu. Just ask... Super friendly staff. We sat outside in pleasant temperatures. All in all, a place to return to.

30/08/2025: Impeccable service, excellent food, perfectly balanced dishes. The eggplant tart was excellent, as was the spaghetti with garlic, oil, chili pepper, shrimp, and lemon. Definitely worth a try.

29/08/2025: I had dinner with two other friends at this wonderful place. We ate wonderfully (the tuna steak was among the best I've ever had), and the service was young and impeccable. Thank you.

20/08/2025: There were 8 of us in this restaurant which seemed okay to us according to the reviews. What a disappointment!!! A very nice waiter, however, half an hour of waiting for a "burata" dish with 1 tomato cut into four and a ball of Burata taken out of the bag and placed on the tomatoes without seasoning, a Milanese escalope arrived 10mm later while everyone was served and without presentation, without lemon etc.. inedible gnocchi etc... Apart from the Sicilian tuna which was okay. Very disappointed despite a picturesque setting and correct reviews. To top it all off, a hefty bill with a mini scoop of lemon ice cream at €7.50 and the bourata at €16, scandalous.

20/08/2025: Ordered: Buffalo tomatoes Received An unripe tomato cut into quarters with a scoop of buffalo tomatoes. No olive oil. No basil. The dish that must have cost them 1 euro. Sold: 16 euros

02/09/2025: A place that claims to offer refined cuisine can't have such glaring shortcomings: 1 - limited choice for those with food intolerances 2 - lack of empathy from the dining room manager, who also happens to be the chef's wife. Even though we mentioned when booking that someone was gluten and lactose intolerant, we were told it wasn't a problem. Result? From the entire menu, only one appetizer and one main course were available due to intolerances, and there was no option whatsoever. The (to be kind) unsympathetic dining room manager told us there was nothing else to offer beyond what was on the menu. A package of gluten-free pasta is available even in trattorias in 2025. What we ordered was still good. A SHAME ABOUT THE FALL IN STYLE

28/08/2025: Top-notch cuisine. I dined at this restaurant, which I wasn't familiar with, in a small, beautiful village I wasn't familiar with. I wasn't expecting to find high-quality dishes outside of the usual local offerings. The cod flan was amazing, as was the excellent sea bass. And to finish, the lemon ice cream with citron was truly remarkable. Very satisfied; it was truly a pleasure from the first bite. Highly recommended!

20/08/2025: We reserved a table for dinner for 2,two days in advance.when we came arrogant stuff told us that the table we reserved is booked by someone else and noone is responsible for it.they were not even trying to solve the situation.they just told us to sit at the worst table with limited view and ugly stinky smell from the kitchen.they do not have proper menu on the paper,qrcode is not working,we left.they were ignorant.not recommend at all.they do not speak english well,but the issue is that there is no service provided.we ended up at bistro around the corner,pleasant atmosphere,good price,big portion,there is simply better place ,where to go and eat and feel welcome.

18/07/2025: In times like these, when eating out is becoming increasingly difficult, this place gives us hope! A traditional osteria that perfectly reflects the spirit of Centocelle, welcoming and popular. Special mention goes to the staff: professional, extremely kind, fast, and very friendly, all people who know their job well! The food is good, simple and made up of traditional Roman recipes, as is the house wine. Despite the abundance of olive oil, no digestive issues. 🙂 Prices are in line. I agree with Borghese. 🙂 Excellent for evenings with friends, I will definitely be back. Congratulations, keep up the good work!

17/08/2025: We chose Lo Scudiero as the catering for our wedding and we would do it again a thousand times!! The food was excellent, both the appetizers and the main courses. Everyone complimented us and continue to compliment us every time we meet guests. When we went to try the menu, everything was truly delicious, and I can also say that the restaurant's atmosphere is beautiful. I will gladly return on other occasions too. Besides the delicious food and generous portions, I have to say that the strong point was their help throughout the wedding planning... and their promptness in managing the rain problem that day!! We were looked after by Valentina, and I must say that despite the rain nightmare, I felt confident that thanks to her presence everything would go smoothly. All the decisions she made turned out to be perfect! So highly recommended both as a venue for a dinner for the quality of the food and the intimate atmosphere, and as a catering for your wedding!

15/08/2025: Stay away! They'll offer you something off the menu, an old fixed-price tavern trick, and they'll charge you a hefty price. The atmosphere, service, and comfort are also forgettable.

21/07/2025: Great food(good variety as well), excellent service and a nice and cozy atmosphere! The staff is very polite and friendly. Giuseppe(Peppe), our waiter is the best. Always smiling, always there if you need anything. I'm actually a bit sad/upset that we ate at another place the other night since we wanted to try something else. No need to try something else. This family restaurant is everything you need.

22/08/2025: One of my favorite restaurants in Lucca, always on thw prixwg side but good. Went back after 3 months and was surprised to see this Lucca tradition turned to become a tourist trap too. Taglioline con le Vonge with 4!!! Vongole seriously? Definitely won’t go back or recommend. So manu better options in Lucca Centro
