In our opinion, authentic Italian food and very affordable. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a bit tricky to find because the street is currently being dug up. We ate here again the next day. Highly recommended!

05/07/2025: Let me set the scene: it’s 19:30 on a warm June evening, the kind where the sky melts into gold, a breeze wraps around you like a silk scarf, and swallows swoop through the air like they were choreographed just for your arrival. You take a tiny glass elevator to the top floor of the Grand Hotel Ortigia and boom—you step into one of the most elegant rooftop settings in Sicily. We had called just the day before to book and were lucky to find a spot (end of June = still doable, but I’d reserve ahead if you’re coming in high season). We were seated on the terrace—front-row seats to the most cinematic sunset over Ortigia, with boats drifting in the background and the sea stretching endlessly before us. The food? Let’s talk about that polpo. “Polpo doppia cottura su crema di patate” sounds poetic—and it is. Tender, rich, and the kind of dish you order as a secondo but secretly wish you could eat for every course. Then came the pasta: pistachio pesto and shelled clams swimming in a vibrant green sauce. Balanced, bright, and exactly what summer on a Sicilian rooftop should taste like. Service was very professional. We sat outside on the terrace, but there’s also refined indoor seating if the weather doesn’t play nice. We parked at Parcheggio Molo Sant’Antonio using EasyPark (about a 10-minute scenic walk along the lungomare) it’s large, easy, and feels like part of the experience. There may be closer options, but the stroll is worth it. Would I go again? In a heartbeat. And next time, I’m ordering dessert too.

29/06/2025: My son and I came for my birthday dinner. Service was grand. We were dressed casually with no problem. The grouper fish and the veal were very good as well as the steamed shrimp. Drinks were ridiculously priced. $20 for a mojito and $26 for a suggested italian gin and tonic. The views are amazing.

From the entrée to the final bite of dessert, everything followed a coherent thread, like a gastronomic tale that comes to life with each course. But the real added value was the chef, who was so kind and personally came to the table to explain each dish. His passion shines through in every word, but above all, in every creation. It's rare to encounter someone so knowledgeable, yet so humble and generous in sharing their knowledge. His presence transformed an excellent dinner into a unique experience, one to remember and recommend. Sincere compliments to the entire staff, and especially to the chef, guardian and narrator of a sea of ​​flavors. We will definitely return, with great pleasure.

27/07/2025: We were able to spend a wonderful week with Lora and Marco. Lora conjures up a delicious, lovingly prepared breakfast every morning. The pizza evening at sunset in the olive trees was also wonderful. The pool was great, and we would love to come back.

29/07/2025: Very well-kept and welcoming, with well-equipped and well-spaced shaded areas (umbrellas or awnings). A good restaurant and courteous, professional staff complete the atmosphere for a pleasant day at the beach. I recommend it.

03/09/2025: We stumbled upon this gem on our last day in Rome and it really was a highlight! The carbonara was to die for, it was the best one we had in Rome! We also ordered mixed grilled seafood which was very fresh. The place was full of local Italians, no queue at all so skip the touristy places and come here for a fully authentic treat!

06/07/2025: Positive experience. Good food, traditional Neapolitan cuisine, excellent price compared to the dishes, quality and quantity. Negative note: The outdoor seating is under a closed gazebo with fans that make it seem like you are in an air fryer. To be improved with a more cutting-edge structure and properly air-conditioned in winter and summer.

06/07/2025: During our short stay in Naples, we found ourselves having dinner in a typical Neapolitan restaurant, the elegant but familiar atmosphere, in particular Jeremia welcomed us, followed us and advised us in a sublime way, very pleasant even to exchange some chats. The exceptional cuisine from the fish to the pizza everything was perfect. Excellent value for money. We will definitely be back 🥰

23/08/2025: Summer 2025. Reservations required. Some parking options nearby. The view from the restaurant is beautiful as the sun sets. The service is always attentive and prompt. All the dishes are truly delicious, some more sophisticated than others. My Ligurian-style sea bream was perfect, even with the accompanying potatoes. The pavlova for dessert was delicious. The price was in line with the dishes and service. Must try!

23/07/2025: Vado in questo ristorante da quando sono piccola e negli anni si, ma molti, visto che io ne ho 44, la gestione è cambiata, ma è migliorata, lo staff è professionale, gentile, cordiale, ti fidelizzano, si mangia molto bene, qualità eccellente, e visto che errare è umano se anche loro come tutti prendono un granchio con educazione, umiltà e celerità rimediano. Mi duole davvero leggere recensioni gratuitamente cattive e palesemente non veritiere, poichè il loro contenuto non rispecchia la realtà. Qui si mangia non bene, ma benissimo e lo staff, GIANLUCA sopratutto merita un grande plauso.

21/08/2025: We stopped in Ravenna for a short three-day vacation, visiting basilicas, artistic wonders, and the resting place, where Dante is remembered. By chance, we dined at the "I Furfanti" restaurant, discovering another treasure...a pizza we've rarely had anywhere else. The kindness of the staff and pizza chef allowed us to delve deeper into the technical details and choice of quality ingredients, which ultimately led to the enjoyment of this excellent pizza. 26/08/2025: We booked last-minute on a Sunday. It wasn't crowded. We found the staff to be friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The food was fresh and well-prepared. The fried food was dry to begin with, and the mix was excellent. We were very satisfied.
