31/01/2025: We, a couple, had lunch here twice during our week in Vieste. The first time it was randomly chosen, but we were treated to a fabulous meal consisting of 2 appetizers followed by spaghetti with mussels in a tomato and olive oil sauce and a grilled orata. Everything was done perfectly and generously served. The dessert was a chocolate soufflé with a pistachio filling. The second time was the piece de resistance. We preordered the zuppa di pesce, a combination of different local fishes in a rich broth with tiny vegetables and bread, in order to give the chef time to gather the ingredients. The broth was rich with the taste of the mixture of the five different fishes plus shrimp, mussels, clams and calamari. It was served in a giant vessel with grilled bread drenched with olive oil. It was the perfect zuppa and its memory will live on in my mind together with the kindness of Chef Elia who shared his philosophy of cooking with us. It was an experience that made our visit to Vieste a jewel that will shine on.

28/01/2025: Aunque esta es la temporada baja aquí en Vieste, la comida aquí es de alta calidad y se hace con respeto por el plato y el cliente. Tuvimos la suerte de haber encontrado Europa para el almuerzo y estábamos tan contentos después de tener una comida maravillosa que hicimos una reserva para volver en 3 días para saborear su Zuppa di Pesce. El combo de chef y esposa era un dúo dinámico. Él hacía platos sabrosos y ella era cien por ciento encantadora. Comenzamos la comida con una Bruschetta del Pastore, pan tostado con aceite de oliva local y cubierto con tomates picados condimentados. Vino con tres quesos locales diferentes, incluyendo cacciocavallo, ricotta salata y pecorino. Se servían con cucharas de dos mermeladas diferentes y en el centro había una bola de mozzarella y un poco de rúcula. El plato era delicado y memorable. También comimos una ensalada caprese, tomates cortados con mozzarella. Esto era tradicional, pero bien hecho con suficiente condimento para despertar el paladar. Pedí un plato, no en el menú porque otro cliente había empezado a comerlo cuando entramos. Era un espagueti aderezado con tomates picados y un poco de pepperoni (especia) en una salsa ligera de aceite de oliva y servido con mejillones al vapor. Era el par perfecto. Mi marido tenía un branzino a la parrilla que se hizo a la perfección, húmedo y sabroso con un lado de rúcula y una cuña de limón. Con eso tenía unos tomates a la parrilla, calabacín y berenjena. Ligero y delicado. Estábamos demasiado llenos para tener mucho más, pero era imposible decir que no al suflé de chocolate con el centro de pistacho. Era un cielo de chocolate y suficiente para cada uno de nosotros para satisfacer el diente dulce. Terminamos con café y un poco de limoncello (hecho en casa). La comida era divina y servida en un acogedor comedor rústico. Esta fue nuestra comida favorita en Vieste y esperamos con ansias la fiesta del pescado del viernes en un tazón. Tuvimos que preordenar la comida para que los ingredientes más frescos se pudieran obtener. Tienes que probar esta Trattoria. La comida es fresca y preparada con cuidado y servida por una persona feliz cuya sonrisa es contagiosa. El menú tiene muchas opciones en todas las categorías y usted puede estar seguro de que lo que pide será lo mejor que pueda ser.

10/02/2025: Ho pranzato per la prima volta in questo ristorante, con vista mare, ed ho mangiato benissimo. Ma l' ospitalitá ed il maitre Franco, hanno fatto la vera differenza! Non vedo l' ora di ritornare!

09/02/2025: We got here by mistake. They gave us space for two on Sunday, even though they were full. I don't know if because they saw us doubtful they began to serve us plates with starters, which we did not reject, many and abundant, some very tasty and some poor although edible. For the second, spaghetti with clams and spaghetti with lobster (this due to lack of understanding with the waiter), very good and abundant. The lemon sorbets were also suggested by the waiter. 120 euros is not expensive. We didn't order wine.

01/11/2024: Il mio posto preferito quando vado a Lazise. Menù con ampia scelta di piatti , porzioni giuste, qualità e materia prima ottima ma quello che più fa la differenza è la cortesia e la disponibilità del personale... splendido ! Ci si sente accolti con piacere ma non adulati cosa che a me metterebbe in imbarazzo; la giusta via di mezzo per pranzare o cenare in serenità senza essere incalzati ogni 5 minuti. Insomma ,ogni volta esperienza perfetta, bravi! Ci vediamo l'anno prossimo

24/02/2025: Very welcoming place with excellent dishes and plenty of choice of traditional dishes and pizza. The pizza dough is thin and delicious. Helpful and courteous staff. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

18/02/2025: Very extensive fish menu, you are spoiled for choice. The dishes are very abundant and also good, what more could you want. I recommend the Taranto-style fish stew and the fried fish. Definitely worth returning.

09/01/2025: I was here in November, and I am still reminiscing about the Carbonara e Tartufo. It was so good I'll be coming back here just for that later this year.

09/03/2025: We had dinner at Gennaro's for a friend's birthday, there were 11 of us, nothing to say about the food, fresh fish cooked well, even the service up to a certain point was fine if it wasn't for a rude and rude waitress who as soon as we had our coffee told us that it was time to go home because it was late (11.15pm) because they were tired and practically sent us away... I'll start by saying that I'm a professional and behavior like this is absolutely not acetable. Evening ruined especially for the birthday girl

17/02/2025: sono anni che frequento il rist. Da Gennaro con amici, per cene di lavoro, con la famiglia, non sono rimasto mai deluso: antipasti deliziosi, piatti semplici e gustosi così come devono essere quelli a base di pesce.

07/01/2025: After years of not eating at Crotto del Lago I went for lunch on Epiphany day Even though it was their last day of work before the winter closure, I was able to enjoy a mixed starter of very fresh seafood and a very tasty first course, spaghetti, clams and bottarga, which I highly recommend...The service was excellent with the right level of friendliness and friendliness. 31/12/2024: A wonderful place with a beautiful park, a very well-kept, comfortable and welcoming environment from times gone by where you can eat many delicious local and national dishes, for events and any celebrations in general, the prices are also good. Convenient large parking, a few kilometers from both Foggia and Manfredonia. I recommend it

27/10/2024: I stumbled upon Lavori in Corso with colleagues after a workday nearby, and we were all pleasantly surprised by the excellent food quality. Each dish was clearly prepared with passion and high-quality ingredients, giving a true taste of Sardinian tradition. The restaurant itself is small, but if you’re lucky enough to find a spot, you’re in for a genuinely enjoyable experience. The menu is limited, yet it offers something for various tastes, which adds to the charm. The only reason I’m not giving a full five stars is a slight rigidity from the kitchen with small requests – they stick closely to the menu, even for minor adjustments or combining appetizers onto a shared platter. Despite this, I highly recommend it; it’s one of those unexpected finds that adds so much to Italian dining tradition.

12/10/2024: By far the best restaurant we visited while our stay in Sardegna. Traditional dishes, very well prepared and with a little tweak. The prices are a bit above average, but it's totally worth it. Highly recommendable.

22/02/2025: Locale molto molto particolare , come se si tornasse indietro nel tempo , ma piatti strepitosi , ci siamo trovati lì per caso e siamo stati molto contenti ! Pasta allo scoglio super super deliziosa ! Idem le linguine al ragù di manzo! Prezzi nella norma , Ve lo consiglio !

16/02/2025: The restaurant is in a beautiful location as it overlooks the shores of Lake Garda and in the summer you can enjoy dinner on the outdoor terrace. They sat us at a carefully set table, offering us a prosecco or alternatively a non-alcoholic aperitif. We had both meat and fish dishes. The dishes were carefully prepared and well presented, then moving on to the homemade desserts (the tiramisu is spectacular!). After coffee, the owner Mr. Mauro offered us a liqueur of his own production. In my opinion, I thought the final bill was fair and in line with the quality of what they served us (indeed, we had planned to spend much more). We will definitely return in the summer to enjoy the outdoor terrace. Highly recommended restaurant.
