I've been wanting to go to this place for lunch for a long time. I can say with certainty that the quality of the food is excellent. There's a wide selection of first and second courses. The menu focuses primarily on fish, shellfish, and mollusks. The pasta with spider crab and the pasta with clams are superb. The fried foods are beyond excellent. We stayed nearby and ended up eating here two days in a row because the food was so good. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a spot that’s not too crowded and a bit outside the city center. Everyone was very welcoming!, - and a personal special shoutout to the waiter who is a total 'Berlin' (Money Heist/La Casa de Papel) lookalike. As other customers have noted, the outside appearance isn't very convincing. But behind the facade lies a culinary paradise. We ate here, with "natural" flavors, meaning little contaminated by the chef's expert hands. Tagliolini with spider crab (is that how you spell it?) was delicious, with a sea of ​​soft, super-flavorful meat. Gnocchi with shrimp and scampi, and a rich sauce for mopping up the bread, were divine. Fried calamari and breaded Sardinian pasta were not at all greasy, very light and tasty. And the Mont Blanc was also very good. All accompanied by a crisp house white, Glera (the grape used to make Prosecco, so let's say a very good relative)! For us, it's become a Trieste staple. Highly recommended! Go there.
