08/07/2025: We fell in love with this location on a winter afternoon, and just two days after our big "I do," we can say with hearts full of gratitude that we couldn't have made a better choice. The sweetness, kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail of the entire staff went far beyond our expectations. The organization was impeccable, the service attentive and ever-present, the food simply perfect. It's a corner of paradise that will forever remain in our memories... but above all in our hearts. 29/06/2025: Sunset wedding on 06/23/2025, everything was perfect as we imagined. Incredible staff followed us step by step throughout the evening. Abundant and delicious food from appetizer to dessert. Thanks to Tiziana, Elisa and Achille wonderful. Can it be replicated?!! The guests filled us with compliments.

12/06/2025: Nice Italian fish restaurant. A large Italian clientele. The staff speaks good English. Dogs are allowed. The food was excellent. Fresh fish from the daily catch, hence the daily changing menu. We had two starters (2 for about €15) and the fish platter for two for €54.

28/06/2025: We were received by friendly waiters, in a cozy restaurant, fast service. This was authentic. Personally the best pizza I have ever eaten, the rest of the family was very excited. Recommended!

23/06/2025: The pizza was out of this world!! We had a fried pizza and a parmigiana and they were spectacular. Warm and familiar atmosphere, kind and welcoming staff, clean place. Highly recommended

29/06/2025: Had a great time at this establishment, maybe because since I was one of the few the last customers and that made it a peaceful meal. The pizza was superb and it had a surprising level of spice I wasn't expecting from european food :D. Loved the flavours of sausage and nduja salami together. Also got the panna cotta dessert which was alright. Definitely recommend.

09/06/2025: Great stay here! We used this as our central spot for exploring Puglia, which was a great choice. The grounds of the hotel are wonderful to walk around in, listen to the peacocks, spend time at the pool, enjoy the history. The olive room at the hotel was quite a museum in itself. Beds were comfortable and staff friendly. Extensive made to order breakfast daily. We did participate in the dinner one night we were there. Was wonderful to have a variety of local dishes paired with local wines. Would reserve a stay here again.

30/06/2025: Restaurant where you feel at home, very kind and helpful. Varied menu, there is a wide choice of dishes, good food and very honest prices. The pizzas are also very good. The Neapolitan pastiera is excellent and the house liquorice digestive is fantastic! Recommended!

25/06/2025: In a central square in Ferrara, a short distance from the Estense Castle, the restaurant with about 30 seats is rectangular in shape, on the long side on the left as you enter there is a counter and then a classic sideboard with a display case, in front of the sideboard there are dark walnut colored tables and chairs, predominant throughout the restaurant, a ceiling with beams of the same color and low lighting with jazz music in the background (at least on the day of my visit). Among the appetizers, between 14 and 16 €, in addition to various local cured meats including the “Zia ferrarese” seared and served with Fuji apple and superbly sweet and sour balsamic vinegar glaze, also a Vicenza-style cod with polenta and a Fassona meat tartare with quail yolk and mayonnaise. A special mention, among the first courses (also between 14 and 16€), goes to the cappellacci with Ferrarese violin squash, the sweetest of the squashes, which pairs magnificently with the cappellacci pasta in a pleasantly dense whole. In addition to the cappellacci, there are also strozzapreti always with violin squash, gnocchetti with aubergines, cherry tomatoes and salted ricotta as well as spaghetti alla chitarra with lime prawns and pumpkin seeds. The second courses include, in addition to sirloin steak of Scottona and pork ribs, grilled prawns and a special "mixed vegetable garden with grilled polenta and cheese fondue". Appropriately, the fondue and polenta compensate for the bitterness of the vegetables which are served slightly seared. The prices of the second courses range between 18€ for the mixed vegetables and 23€ for the Scottona and prawns. Surprise desserts (all at 7€). The wine list is not particularly varied but reasonably priced. Attentive service.
