While staying in Ventimiglia for a few days, I was fortunate to discover this restaurant just a short walk from where I was staying. The atmosphere was quaint and beautifully decorated, and the service was incredibly warm and welcoming. I especially appreciated the opportunity to practice my Italian throughout the evening.
I started with a glass of local Rossese, a lighter-bodied Ligurian red with an elegant character somewhat reminiscent of Pinot Noir. For my antipasto, I chose the farinata with Gorgonzola, which was rich, savory, and wonderfully comforting.
For dinner, I decided to try the coniglio disossato in casseruola alla ligure—boneless rabbit prepared with olives, pine nuts, and white wine. It was absolutely delicious: tender, delicate, and surprisingly approachable for anyone trying rabbit for the first time. I paired it with the optional red cabbage salad, which complemented the meal beautifully.
Everything from the presentation to the ambiance felt thoughtful and authentic. An excellent dining experience from start to finish, and absolutely a place I would return to when back in Ventimiglia. 🇮🇹🍷✨

It's not a hotel!
A small restaurant that requires reservations. Pleasant and with good service. The dishes are well-served, although they look small, they are actually generous portions. They charge a cover charge, which is unusual in Italy. The bathroom entrance is a bit unattractive, but everything is clean.
We ordered pasta with pesto, pasta with tomato sauce, and a highly recommended dish of coniglio (rabbit).

An Italian restaurant just the way we like them. Friendly staff, simple and welcoming decor, and above all, truly excellent cuisine. The pasta with clams is delicious, the rabbit is superb, and the desserts are delightful. A place to remember and frequent.
