13/04/2026: A fairly well-known trattoria in the center of Assisi. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. However, I can't say I had an excellent meal or that I was served like a gentleman; let's just say it was average. The strangozzi with truffles was bland and tasted very little like truffle. The salt that was missing from the strangozzi was in the rabbit cacciatore, which was almost unbearably salty. But what most influenced my rating was the response of the dark-haired waitress with glasses. When asked if there was any wine off the menu (which needs revising...), she replied: "If you don't like anything, drink water!" This response would have meant I should have given a 0, but I don't want to disparage or belittle the work of my colleagues in the dining room and kitchen, nor the hostess who was always courteous and kind. You just need to be more careful when speaking to customers.

Excellent ingredients, prepared with love and dedication, respecting tradition. The dining room is warm and welcoming, with tables well-arranged and not too close together. The pigeon is one of the best I've ever eaten. Highly recommended!!!

02/04/2026: A very bad experience. We waited in the entrance where no one seemed to notice there were customers. We waited 30 minutes for menus, 30 minutes for our order to be taken, and my pizza arrived after the other customer had finished their risotto. We weren't served at the same time. The staff was unpleasant, except for the cashier who apologized for the wait.

09/03/2026: We loved it! We ate here two days to try different types of pasta. I recommend the salami ravioli with cacio e pepe sauce and the pesto sauce. There's a counter when you enter; you order, they give you a pager, you sit at the bar-style seating, and then you collect your food.

08/04/2026: A charming restaurant in a remote hilltop village, overlooking Lake Orta. I certainly wasn't expecting such a simple and elegant place. A great start to a high-quality lunch with meticulously prepared cuisine featuring traditional dishes expertly prepared. I can't help but mention the spectacular cheese and dessert trolley at the end of the meal, with the option of various tastings. Compliments. The price is right for the quality offered.
