14/04/2026: The property is a 10-minute walk from the Gallarate train station: very convenient if you have to catch a flight from Malpensa. The room and bathroom are spacious and clean. There are plenty of places nearby for dinner. It's also a café and pastry shop, so you can find delicious, fresh breakfast items.
08/04/2026: I booked my stay for the night of March 28th. As I've learned from others, the pastry shop is closed on Sundays, but the owner left baked goods and juices in the room for the next day. The rooms are spacious and clean, as are the bathrooms. It's located downtown near the hospital, but has internal parking in the courtyard. Prices are average. It will definitely be a go-to place for me. Recommended!

06/04/2026: Wow, we were really impressed with this small but cozy pizzeria. The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent at very fair prices. We ate there twice with four people and tried everything from pasta and pizza to meat and salad. All the dishes were fantastic. We can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back on our next short trip to the area.
20/01/2026: Good evening, I ordered paccheri with tomato, octopus, and tagiasce olives, recommended by the waitress, saying it was the highlight. Everything was there except one dish that tasted and smelled of fish. With this, I complained to the owner, saying that a pasta dish like this should not be presented, with few ingredients. His response was, "I'm sorry, I'll give you a discount at the checkout. I didn't get it, and he didn't even show up at the checkout." Small but important details.

27/02/2026: It was a pleasant discovery, delicious panzerotti, even desserts!
Small place with limited seating, quiet, friendly service.
The portion of fries was a bit small, a small aluminum tray.
I recommend that it's best to be on foot to get to this place, as there's no parking directly in front, but you can opt for the parking garages 100 meters away or the Giardini Estensi parking lot opposite.
21/02/2026: Delicious! We went because I was looking for fried pizza, but since I couldn't find any in Varese, I decided to try the Apulian panzerotti anyway. Delicious, beautifully filled, and best of all, made to order! The price was more than reasonable considering it's in the city center! I had spicy salami, and it was truly filling and delicious! We were all very happy, and I definitely recommend it and will be back!

16/03/2026: Very negative experience, poor and cold food, the 3 year old child who didn't eat anything not even a single chip, they still made me pay 12.90 as an adult, very disappointing, I will never go again
15/03/2026: Beautiful place. I'd been there before when it was sushi. It was good then too. Now the food is different, but the friendliness and generous portions with a set menu are the real deal. I'll be back.

05/10/2025: In my opinion (I'm not telling the world because I haven't watched it all yet) but it's the best so far! In terms of quantity, quality, etc. etc.
02/10/2025: We were loyal customers: we went to this gelateria at least once a week, spending an average of €12, because the gelato is decent (though not the best).
However, our last experience left us stunned.
We asked if we could taste a flavor before buying, but somehow we were denied.
Although the gelato is good, the professionalism, friendliness, and empathy (qualities every business should have to offer good service) at this gelateria leave much to be desired.
The gentleman at the counter, in our opinion, needs a customer service course.

02/02/2026: Decent pizza, tomato sauce a bit too acidic, and ingredients of average-to-low quality. I would have liked at least a sprig of oregano or basil in the Margherita sauce.
12/01/2026: I ordered a takeout pizza from this place on a Saturday night, and I have to say it was perfect timing for a Saturday night.
The place is very nice looking and very clean.
It's a different type of pizza than my favorite Neapolitan one, but that's just my preference and doesn't really matter... we were a little disappointed because, of the pizzas we ordered, the white one with cooked ham and parmesan cheese ended up with just parmesan.
Another aspect: we all drank a lot that night... so perhaps something needs to be reworked in the dough, from my incompetent perspective, or something else entirely.

11/11/2025: A frequent guest at the Stay, this time I opted not for a restaurant, but for a takeaway and eat-in option.
It's exactly the kind of food I've always appreciated, not the usual all-you-can-eat fare.
The classic Chinese food I've known since the early 1980s.
Fast service and great quality, as well as a delightfully embarrassing quantity.
Truly a great discovery.
