01/06/2025: Nice bar overlooking the roundabout, with foosball tables, tables inside and outside. Open from morning to late evening, fairly easy parking. View of the surrounding hills, mixed clientele.

11/05/2025: I didn't know that 3 lattes cost €3.00 in cash and €3.60 paid by phone. We were waiting for the receipt she gave but... after a while we left as the girl was procrastinating and at this point I thought we would be stupid if we waited, we wouldn't get the paper copy of the transaction, oh well I have the digital one of the card...

13/10/2025: We went to Ristorante Italia in Maccagno for a family lunch and it was a wonderful experience. The saddle of venison with autumnal side dishes was tasty and prepared with top-quality ingredients. The outdoor aperitif was very welcoming, and the private dining room ensured privacy and tranquility. The waiter was friendly, entertaining, and professional, making the lunch even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was family-friendly and refined, highly recommended!

05/08/2025: People. Unfriendly to customers. Constant arguments among the staff. Never here again. Since you also responded, thank you. If someone stops by your place early in the morning for a coffee and a croissant, it means they care about their place; it's not their first time here, and they know how things are. To think that part of their family also comes here, so they already know how things go. But if someone walks in and sees the girls arguing and banging the coffee machines because they're angry, making an absurd noise, and you, as the boss, don't say anything, the management is flawed. To be fair, I paid immediately, and while waiting for my order, I also wanted to get a croissant to take home for the family. But if you, as the staff, keep telling me more than three times that I have to sit down, and you don't see that I'm still buying goods, it means you're not paying attention. Plus, you huff and puff and say out loud that you can't stand your coworkers anymore, it doesn't look good. When I ask, "Excuse me, a little patience, I notice that today might be a bad day," I'm told, "Well, we're very quick at serving." Speed isn't what makes a place valuable; that morning, 80% of your customers were elderly. Tell me, why all this?! They keep repeating, "Please, sit down!" in a harsh tone. The extra croissants I bought at home only had a little pistachio in the middle. Are you really kidding, or do you also want to acknowledge that people can be treated well, and not just based on their mood? What reason do you have for not saying anything, especially in front of everyone, when faced with arguments among the staff? Arrogance, do you feel that way? I mean, I'm supposed to accept everything like this, after years of getting croissants and coffee from you, along with family and friends? You're kidding, right? I wish you more wisdom in the future.

07/07/2025: The first courses were very good but as we continued to order, the quality seemed to have dropped. The service was good but the wait was quite long.

06/07/2025: Location that looks directly onto a camping park. High quality price but still less expensive than across the border or at the all you can eat in the area. Cuisine too adapted to the local style.

01/11/2025: I came for dinner last night with friends. Despite the pleasantness of the place, it's unacceptable to wait 30 minutes to order and over an hour to eat. The food arrived after we asked twice, and in the meantime, we saw other tables receiving it. We weren't a large table, and all five of us ordered the same thing, so it's truly incomprehensible. After such a long wait, two of us were served raw burgers, which is extremely dangerous.

20/09/2025: This evening we ordered pizzas. The girl who answered the phone was precise, and since I'm gluten intolerant, she recommended the right dough, describing the consistency. We ordered two diavola pizzas and a gluten-free marinara. They delivered on time, and the pizza was really good, the gluten-free one was excellent.

10/08/2025: A very beautiful and intimate place, with friendly staff who greet you when you enter (that's not always the case these days). Excellent, well-cooked pizza, with many flavors and a variety of dough choices. Very fair prices. I ordered their specialty, named after them, and considering the ingredients, I would have spent much more elsewhere. I'll gladly return.

06/11/2025: The food is good! The service is fast and the staff is friendly! The price is average for all-you-can-eat restaurants, so it's very affordable: €14.90 plus drinks and coffee. Recommended 👍

08/10/2025: It's the best sushi restaurant in Varese! The quality of the food is excellent, dishes prepared freshly, and the atmosphere is welcoming, almost like being at home. It's impossible to change, it's become the sushi place you trust.

23/09/2025: Very beautiful lakeside location, very attentive service from the waiter. The food was good. However, we didn't realize until we got the bill that we had been overcharged until home. Three glasses of wine instead of two. The prices were incomprehensible. Two glasses at €10.00 each, but we ordered white wine for €4 each. The third glass of wine that wasn't received was charged €7.00. So, €27.00 for two glasses of white wine! The restaurant opens at 6 p.m., and we were the second guests there. We were informed that the kitchen for hot meals doesn't open until 7 p.m. We explained that we would still wait and ordered drinks and coffee. Unexpectedly, the waiter brought us a kind of Margherita bread with nine small slices, which also tasted good. We wondered if this was a courtesy of the house, given the long wait until 7 p.m. It wasn't, and they charged €8, which is fine, but it wasn't our order. So we overpaid €27! We added a 15% tip at the end, which was a bit too much in the end. Check the bill before leaving the restaurant! We were a bit dazzled by the waiter's charm; he might have been a bit calculating. The opening hours on Google are incorrect! Only Facebook lists the correct times. There's a lunch break, and hot meals aren't served until 7 p.m., even though the restaurant is open from 6 p.m., which is confusing for guests who aren't familiar with the place.

19/09/2025: The food was delicious. The service was very friendly, and the view of the sunset over Lake Maggiore was simply fantastic.

11/10/2025: I'm telling you, it wasn't as good as I'd have liked. The appetizer wasn't as good as I'd have liked. The fried dumplings were already stale, and the cold cuts were okay. The two first courses, the mushroom risotto, were decent! The seafood pasta was a bit awful. We need the financial police to go and do checks. Okay, thank you so much, Google Gemini. I'm so sorry to have to criticize you so much!

11/10/2025: A stunning location nestled in the mountains of the Varese area. The staff are extremely kind, courteous, polite, and professional. The food is delicious. Owners Roberto and his son Davide are extremely available to fulfill their guests' wishes. WE WILL RETURN

15/07/2025: A very quiet and private place to enjoy good wine in a peaceful atmosphere. The owner is very knowledgeable about wine, kind, and attentive. He always brings a platter for appetizers...a special mention 🥰 BRAVO.

22/09/2025: I ordered the "carrettiera." Good. But no porcini mushrooms, despite it being specified on the menu. Disappointing. I hope it's a mistake by the pizza chef. 2025. Still no porcini mushrooms this time on the "sweeper." Nothing has changed in 4 years. I'll change pizzerias.

10/10/2025: So, just one complaint: too much secondhand smoke. Out of respect for everyone, smokers shouldn't smoke in front of the entrance because it ACCUMULATES inside. This is a fault of every establishment except those where the owner's notice is posted. Non-smokers suffer when they have breakfast or when they eat, and if smokers have the right to do so, even more so, those who aren't slaves to smoke have access to oxygen, which is vital.
