The property is a 10-minute walk from the Gallarate train station: very convenient if you have to catch a flight from Malpensa. The room and bathroom are spacious and clean. There are plenty of places nearby for dinner. It's also a café and pastry shop, so you can find delicious, fresh breakfast items.

I booked my stay for the night of March 28th. As I've learned from others, the pastry shop is closed on Sundays, but the owner left baked goods and juices in the room for the next day. The rooms are spacious and clean, as are the bathrooms. It's located downtown near the hospital, but has internal parking in the courtyard. Prices are average. It will definitely be a go-to place for me. Recommended!

Bakery with a B&B upstairs, excellent location close to all amenities and a stone's throw from the hospital. Friendly and professional staff.

I can't rate the rooms as I only used the bar/patisserie area. It's a very welcoming place, with a variety of sweet and savory products, and the option of pre-made meals. The young man who served me was extremely kind and helpful. The muffin with Nutella on top was delicious!

Trattoria San Carlo

26/10/2025: I stumbled upon this trattoria by chance. It was a wonderful experience. The prices are incredibly low; it's only open Thursday evenings and then during the week for lunch. You're really spending very little, but the quality of the food is worth much more than other trattorias in the area. You can find chickpea soup, pasta and beans, fettuccine with pesto ragù. Then, for the main course, every dish is fabulous, from the homemade meatballs, boiled meat, pork, oven-baked ribs, and grilled fish. And the side dishes are delicious, from baked French fries to boiled potatoes with green beans and parsley. The desserts are exquisite and homemade, from the warm strudel, pine nut cake, and finally a very special house liqueur, the agrumello. All for the simple price of €21, full menu. Thanks to the staff.
