31/10/2025: Welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, but unfortunately the service is terrible! We came in at 6:00 PM, ordered two pancakes at 6:05 PM, and waited 50 minutes. There were only four customers in the restaurant, and the staff numbered at least four, and we were invisible... embarrassing. Furthermore, after a 20-minute wait, the waitress came to tell us that the tiramisu pancake couldn't be made because the kitchen had discovered that the cream was spoiled. Horrible! As a customer, I expect to be greeted and served as is right and in a timely manner. In a place called a "pancake factory," I don't expect it to take 50 minutes to serve two courses, and even if there are outside orders to prepare, those in the dining room are served first! Above all, I expect fresh ingredients. By the way, "good evening," since after paying you didn't even say hello, and never see us again!

18/05/2025: During a recent stroll through the streets of Varese, I came across Messer Vino, a place that turned out to be a pleasant surprise, especially for a tasty aperitif and a good glass. I really appreciated the possibility of sitting at one of their outdoor tables, perfect for enjoying the atmosphere of the area. The only flaw: a little small and wobbly, especially when someone approaches and moves the plank that supports all the tables. The strong point is the 12-piece Giro Cicchetti, a curated assortment that ranges from revisited classics to creative proposals: from the tasty creamed cod to the refined Fassona tartare with rocket, parmesan and balsamic vinegar, up to the bold Blu di Capra with raspberry sauce. Each cicchetto, prepared with fresh and quality ingredients, offers a balance of flavors that satisfies different palates. Accompanied by a fresh and aromatic Hugo Spritz, the meal was completed by a glass of red wine, surprisingly rounded and pleasant, offered at an exceptional quality-price ratio (4€). With attentive service and an offer that combines variety, quality and convenience, Messer Vino is an excellent choice for a convivial and satisfying aperitif.

11/09/2025: Having just one person to manage the lunch break is unthinkable. Twenty minutes of waiting at the cash register while Eleonora was in the kitchen alone preparing piadinas. Perhaps they should consider adding staff at least for the lunch break to avoid wasting a good hour just eating a piadina.

10/10/2025: So, just one complaint: too much secondhand smoke. Out of respect for everyone, smokers shouldn't smoke in front of the entrance because it ACCUMULATES inside. This is a fault of every establishment except those where the owner's notice is posted. Non-smokers suffer when they have breakfast or when they eat, and if smokers have the right to do so, even more so, those who aren't slaves to smoke have access to oxygen, which is vital.

09/09/2025: The kebab is very good, the piadina dough is truly remarkable, and everything is easy to digest. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful. He makes you feel right at home.

08/11/2025: The heating didn't work; the children only had a thin sheet to use as a blanket. When asked, a dirty wool blanket was brought out. There was a very strong smell coming from the drain. A lot of mold in the bathroom. The windows were drafty, making it noisy and cold. The breakfast buffet had a good selection, but it was exactly the same every day. The breakfast staff were very hardworking.

07/11/2025: They said that they had air conditioning when I booked my room but when I arrived they said that the A/C was off for the season. I then asked 4 different times for someone to come to our room to open the window as the room was stuffy and after repeated assurances it would be done it never happened. Room was small and plain. Aside for easy highway access this hotel has nothing to recommend it.

27/10/2025: I can't rate the rooms as I only used the bar/patisserie area. It's a very welcoming place, with a variety of sweet and savory products, and the option of pre-made meals. The young man who served me was extremely kind and helpful. The muffin with Nutella on top was delicious!

26/10/2025: We stayed at this property for work from Barcelona, ​​and I must say it exceeded our expectations: clean and comfortable rooms, a very nice common area, and the entire team's incredible friendliness. Having the cafeteria and not just downstairs is an incredible plus, given the impressive quality of the products, where it's evident that they're worked with care. Furthermore, the proximity to the center means you can get around on foot without any problems. We salute the entire team and will definitely recommend this place to all our friends here in Barcelona.

16/09/2025: So, it was only 3:49 PM. After a nice motorcycle ride, we stopped here for a drink and a toastie... we were told by the rude waitress that the kitchen was closed... OK, I told my husband, and she heard it and slammed the glasses on the table in an annoyed and rude manner!

25/09/2025: Worst burger ever. I had a chicken burger and my wife had a burger di Manzo. Boring, soggy, almost no flavor, and all for 9 euros. The fries were dripping with grease and also soggy. Service was okay.
