10/01/2025: Nice environment, but I was disappointed compared to how I remembered it years ago... Since my child appreciated the rolls as appetizers offered to us at the beginning, I asked what they were called to order a portion. The girl responded in a rude, almost annoyed way - as if I were stupid (maybe because having an Asian appearance she expected me to know what they were called. Of course they were rolls, but for what?!!). When I started to say thank you for every dish he took away from us - as I always do - he started to soften. Even the boy seemed a little annoyed at times, in any case unmotivated - perhaps because he had to serve New Year's Eve and would have preferred to be elsewhere?! Anyway... Food: Fried eggplant with prawns and good sushi. Poor miso soup and wakame seaweed. It's also a shame about the use of monosodium glutamate, which can still be felt on the palate the following morning. Positive note: the owners were very friendly and you can see that they tried to "pamper" the customers. E.g. the lady, seeing my disoriented look, immediately understood that I was looking for the bathroom and immediately directed me with a smile like a traffic policeman towards the bathroom. Overall I would have given a 3.5 but there wasn't the option and I didn't feel like giving a 4...

08/01/2025: Very nice place, very good staff. The only flaw is that they closed it. It's really a shame to have lost a place where you could drink excellent craft beer and excellent food.

14/04/2025: Decayed over the years! I've been coming here since it opened, over a decade ago, finding quality food, generous portions and honest prices (more than an all you can eat, but rightly so). Lately the quantities had been reduced, a bit like everywhere else. But my last visit was sensational. I order my usual dishes to take away, spending €45 so as not to feed myself. Very small nigiri, but above all a salmon and seaweed salad which is a quarter of the one I remember (at the same price). I believe in dialogue so I wrote an email on February 2nd, it's April and they never replied... too bad, you lost a loyal customer.

28/03/2025: Last Wednesday, being in the area, I looked online for sushi and chose this place without reading the reviews. I am greeted cordially and when they bring me the menu I realize that it is NOT ALL YOU CAN IT. They have some fixed price proposals that vary from 12 euros to 16 (I'm going from memory) which is basically 4 dishes. They don't have bulk wine but bottles or glasses that are paid separately. I found the raw fish good and fresh, the rolls (2 small ones) good and fried very well, the rice (a small bowl) good, a portion of fresh salad seasoned with a sauce. All good but for me the quantity was limited, if I wanted to fill myself I would have had to order other courses to pay on the card. Moral: Clean environment, clean bathrooms, friendly staff, good food but to fill yourself up you have to spend a significant amount. Decent value for money

14/04/2025: A gloomy day and a gloomy innkeeper. The restaurant was empty. When I asked if I could have dinner, an older gentleman with long hair, presumably the innkeeper, gestured for a seat in the anteroom. So far, so good. The music was quite loud from the speakers. When the courteous waiter tried to comply with my request to play more subdued music, the innkeeper barked at him. Looking at me, the innkeeper made it eagerly clear that I would have to put up with the volume: he was in charge! True, but without me as a guest. So I left before I even ordered. Elsewhere, the customer is king. Another reviewer wrote: "I've never wished anyone harm, but you'll never see 1 € from me again." True enough!

12/03/2025: I had a very bad time in this restaurant...tasteless pizzas, sadder starters than in a company canteen, very little courtesy and flexibility on the part of the managers. Unsmiling, unprofessional and very inattentive waiters. If you don't know what you're good at, either in the kitchen or with people, change jobs!! Furthermore, I read that the owner "threatens" to sue customers who leave negative reviews... places like this can only make customers run away and remain increasingly empty. I reply to the manager...we didn't carry out any revenge, we simply ate badly and were treated even worse, so you should just take note of our legitimate judgement. Furthermore, she is the one who is writing several inaccurate things to discredit our review

19/11/2024: So I can say that it's the first time I've come for lunch at midday, the place is always seen in passing, the food is good and not plentiful but if you're on a diet or not very hungry it's fine Otherwise you'll have to do an encore Or maybe ask the generous portions they make for you, and I paid the right price. In conclusion, good value for money.

25/03/2025: Diciamo che non ci ha entusiasmato. Che il locale fosse di piccole dimensioni di conseguenza tavoli e sedute molto vicini l’uno all’altro lo sapevamo. In sala una sola persona a servire probabilmente il proprietario anche se il locale era pieno. C’erano alcuni fuori menù ma già alle 20:30 quando siamo arrivati erano terminati per cui qualcuno che è arrivato prima ne ha beneficiato a noi non sono nemmeno stati proposti. Qualità e quantità dei cibi accettabili. Normale la carta dei vini anche se troviamo i prezzi un po’ elevati. Secondo noi un po’ troppo caro per quello che offre.

02/01/2025: Esperienza davvero un po’ spiacevole . Siamo stati qui dopo aver visto le lucine di Leggiuno , non avevamo prenotato . La metà dei piatti sul menu erano “finiti” ma la cameriera nonché penso proprietaria non ne era a conoscenza per cui abbiamo ordinato più volte per poi vederla tornare a dirci che i piatti scelti non erano disponibili . Dopo aver mangiato (metà dei piatti sono arrivati freddi ) volevamo ordinare dei formaggi ma la cucina era chiusa e non sono riusciti a portarceli. Erano però disponibili i dolci (e portare al tavolo dei dolci o dei formaggi non è che sia molto diverso… mah ) . In più appena arrivati ci avevano detto che i seggioloni erano finiti ma dentro al ristorante ne abbiamo visti diversi “parcheggiati” li.. forse eravamo antipatici a pelle alla proprietaria … Insomma , esperienza da non ripetere !

24/12/2024: Un día lluvioso en temporada baja nos permitió visitar la ermita de Santa Caterina. Muy bonito. Y almorzamos en La Vecchia Fontana. Fue genial en todos los sentidos. En el interior cuenta con un comedor rústico cómodo y acogedor. Recibimos una cálida bienvenida del personal y el chef. La comida era grandiosa desde misto fritta hasta tagliatelle de hongos y ternera en vino tinto y pollenta. Maravilloso. Para continuar con esta nota alta, terminamos con mousse de chocolate (fondant au chocolat noir) , helado en Grand Marnier y un merengue helado congelado. La cuenta era muy baja para este fantástico almuerzo y vino. Si tienes tanta suerte de estar por esta parte del lago: no lo dudes ni un segundo, recuperará tu memoria para una buena alimentación.
