23/01/2025: I entered and they didn't always greet from behind one person making coffee and the other drying cups. I purchased and after checking out the clerk turns her back and leaves without saying goodbye. Goodbye, there are many other great bakeries and coffee shops in the city. I once recommended it and held business appointments here, but no longer, thanks, first and foremost the education!

05/01/2025: Che si vada per un caffè, una colazione o per comprare qualcosa dalla pasticceria, non mancheranno mai tempi di attesa biblici e un tocco di scortesia tipicamente varesino.

21/03/2025: We had an aperitif sitting on the tables outside, where unfortunately they don't do table service, in fact we had to make do on our own. If you take the classic €6 spritz they only bring you chips and peanuts, for €10 each they also bring a platter of various appetizers (cold cuts, sandwiches, etc.) which we appreciated.

02/01/2025: Esperienza davvero un po’ spiacevole . Siamo stati qui dopo aver visto le lucine di Leggiuno , non avevamo prenotato . La metà dei piatti sul menu erano “finiti” ma la cameriera nonché penso proprietaria non ne era a conoscenza per cui abbiamo ordinato più volte per poi vederla tornare a dirci che i piatti scelti non erano disponibili . Dopo aver mangiato (metà dei piatti sono arrivati freddi ) volevamo ordinare dei formaggi ma la cucina era chiusa e non sono riusciti a portarceli. Erano però disponibili i dolci (e portare al tavolo dei dolci o dei formaggi non è che sia molto diverso… mah ) . In più appena arrivati ci avevano detto che i seggioloni erano finiti ma dentro al ristorante ne abbiamo visti diversi “parcheggiati” li.. forse eravamo antipatici a pelle alla proprietaria … Insomma , esperienza da non ripetere !

24/12/2024: Un día lluvioso en temporada baja nos permitió visitar la ermita de Santa Caterina. Muy bonito. Y almorzamos en La Vecchia Fontana. Fue genial en todos los sentidos. En el interior cuenta con un comedor rústico cómodo y acogedor. Recibimos una cálida bienvenida del personal y el chef. La comida era grandiosa desde misto fritta hasta tagliatelle de hongos y ternera en vino tinto y pollenta. Maravilloso. Para continuar con esta nota alta, terminamos con mousse de chocolate (fondant au chocolat noir) , helado en Grand Marnier y un merengue helado congelado. La cuenta era muy baja para este fantástico almuerzo y vino. Si tienes tanta suerte de estar por esta parte del lago: no lo dudes ni un segundo, recuperará tu memoria para una buena alimentación.

25/01/2025: I got three takeaway pizzas. Ok, normal price... But alas, very minimal filling (little tomato, little buffalo mozzarella, little gorgonzola). Too bad because they were good. I would have gladly given 5 stars and even paid a little more, just to have more filling. 🤷🏼‍♂️

20/01/2025: I ordered a pizza for delivery and more than 4 hours after ordering it didn't arrive

24/11/2024: The pizza is quite good and the place overall looks good, despite this 3.50 euros for a coke seems excessive to me, especially on the menu the pizza I got costs 11 euros and then upon payment both my pizza and the other's The additional person with me is increased by 1 euro on the final bill, plus an additional 3 euro cover charge not indicated on the menu. Prices quite unjustified and above all not transparent.

09/03/2025: We took 2 desserts which I would say were excellent, a piece of pizza which turned out to have sour mozzarella, when I complained at the cash register, the cashier replied that it had been made in the morning, consequently she made me pay for it even though I hadn't eaten it at all... NOT RECOMMENDED

08/12/2024: I stop here when my daughter is at the gym! Punctually they don't even bring you 1 chip!! And I always spend at least €10 on drinks!! At some tables they bring the small cutting board and at others absolutely nothing... Terrible Edit...after the owner's response... I repeat that EVERY time I am asked absolutely nothing... the only time I asked if it was possible to have 2 chips, they were given to me in an annoyed manner by the blonde girl ... Now, perhaps, you need to point out to the girls that this thing should be done with everyone, not just with those who stop to hit on them or with those who have tables for 4 people 😅 once it can be forgetfulness, every time it becomes a vice (from September to today means 1 time a week)

20/10/2024: Cena eccellente e atmosfera incantevole. I piatti, preparati con ingredienti freschi e di qualità, sono stati un’esplosione di sapori, mentre l’ambiente molto accogliente e casalingo ha creato una perfetta cornice per la serata. Il servizio è stato impeccabile, con personale attento e cordiale. Un’esperienza da ripetere assolutamente!

07/10/2024: Ieri ho festeggiato il mio diciottesimo ai rustici, è stata una bellissima serata in un posto accogliente e caloroso ma soprattutto questa serata è stata possibile grazie alla bravura, simpatia ma sopratutto alla professionalità di Daniela Schiaffi bravissima nel suo lavoro ma oltre a questo è anche una persona a modo in grado di mettere i suoi clienti a proprio agio. io personalmente non avevo dubbi sull'uscita di questa serata perché secondo me l'esperienza lavorativa vuol dire tanto e poi secondo me ci voleva proprio una persona così per rendere così calorosa il ristorante della villa porta bozzolo.
