20/11/2025: I go there often but I have always used the restaurant which is always well stocked and of excellent quality.

11/11/2025: EMBARRASSMENT ROOM. It's 1:04 AM, we've booked rooms (with a confirmation email from the property), but unfortunately the front desk says there are no rooms available, and I find myself with my wife and kids and two other couples with kids having to sleep somewhere in the middle of the night. I hope you close down as soon as possible, you're complete incompetents.

12/10/2025: We first caught the attention of Michelin Guides about this restaurant. Located in the heart of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Magnificent views. Excellent tasting menu. Excellent value for money.

27/09/2025: We came to the restaurant for its gourmet evening menu and its reputation, but we were disappointed. The setting was splendid, with the meal on the panoramic terrace and a decent meal with very professional waiters. The biggest problem was the sommelier: a cold welcome, a haughty attitude. When I asked for a sweet white wine as an aperitif, which was on the menu, he told me there wasn't one. When I pointed out that it was on the menu, he replied that it wasn't up to date (!) and that "as an aperitif, we have bubbles" (!). He went back, and I heard him making unflattering remarks about the French and laughing with his colleagues. When we asked for a wine pairing, he told us there wasn't one and that we should only have one glass of white and one of red because the tasting menu included fish and then meat. We had two meat dishes, and the wine pairing and his knowledge of the menu were superb!! We've never received such service from a sommelier in a fine dining restaurant 👎 Poor

16/08/2025: Very friendly staff, very good pizza, for takeaway you don't have to wait long. They are fast and the prices are reasonable.

07/11/2025: We were looking for the nearest McDonald's on our way from the airport. We ordered several menus. Everything was delicious, but they mixed up our drinks a bit. I was surprised that they not only looked at the receipt, but also came and checked it on the table, as if they don't trust us. In Munich, they change things like that right away, without even looking at the receipt. The restrooms are clean👍 There's parking.

15/07/2025: Location magnifica, si respira calma e serenità, cucina ottima e servizio impeccabile. Se vi fermate ad Angera è una tappa obbligata. Alessandro e Genny sapranno deliziarvi il palato con ottimo cibo. Consigliatissime la pasta fresca ai funghi porcini e le pappardelle al ragù di chianina.

04/06/2025: Siamo ritornati in questo ristorante e come sapevamo è stata l' ennesima conferma. Cibo ottimo, materie prime di alta qualità, piatti preparati benissimo e con cura, personale gentilissimo e preparato e atmosfera calda e rilassante. DA PROVARE! Per noi è un punto di riferimento.

18/05/2025: During a recent stroll through the streets of Varese, I came across Messer Vino, a place that turned out to be a pleasant surprise, especially for a tasty aperitif and a good glass. I really appreciated the possibility of sitting at one of their outdoor tables, perfect for enjoying the atmosphere of the area. The only flaw: a little small and wobbly, especially when someone approaches and moves the plank that supports all the tables. The strong point is the 12-piece Giro Cicchetti, a curated assortment that ranges from revisited classics to creative proposals: from the tasty creamed cod to the refined Fassona tartare with rocket, parmesan and balsamic vinegar, up to the bold Blu di Capra with raspberry sauce. Each cicchetto, prepared with fresh and quality ingredients, offers a balance of flavors that satisfies different palates. Accompanied by a fresh and aromatic Hugo Spritz, the meal was completed by a glass of red wine, surprisingly rounded and pleasant, offered at an exceptional quality-price ratio (4€). With attentive service and an offer that combines variety, quality and convenience, Messer Vino is an excellent choice for a convivial and satisfying aperitif.

30/09/2025: We went to this pizzeria on a Friday night. It wasn't a terrible place, although it was scorching hot and they didn't even turn on the pizza peels. I don't think I've ever had such a salty pizza. I had a bufalina pizza with fennel dough. It tasted TOO much like fennel, so much so that it overpowered the other flavors. Poor-quality ingredients. Decent service, but the waitress was a bit awkward.

16/10/2025: One of the best pizzas I've ever had! The atmosphere is perhaps a little dated, but clean. The staff is fairly quick. The bathroom is small and cramped.

02/12/2025: We dined at this restaurant with a group of colleagues. The experience was fun, the food good, and the service excellent. The staff is truly welcoming and builds rapport with the customers. The atmosphere is nice, clean, and well-kept. For a different experience and evening than usual. Highly recommended.

10/11/2025: Tried it more than once, but unfortunately, given the open space, the noise level is too high (particularly the music, which sometimes forces you to raise your voice). The beer is sometimes really poorly poured (too much foam and served under the mark, because it's made in a hurry). The bar is unusable. There are marked differences among the waitresses: the younger they are, the less attentive and friendly they are. Nonetheless, there's a lot of room for improvement, and over time and with the right choices, it could become a great place.

09/11/2025: A great place to spend a pleasant evening. The food is varied and original, ranging from pizza to classic and specialty burgers. The quality is above average for pubs. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. A wide selection of beers is available. A must try...

07/07/2025: Perry caffè is a great bar for breakfasts, aperitifs and selling wines and various foods from the area. It is also good for small groups as a meeting place.
