24/02/2026: We had just arrived in town as they were about to close, but the owner—like a loving grandmother—couldn’t bear to see us go hungry. Her hospitality was unforgettable. She graciously prepared three dishes from what she had left, just so we could have something to eat. My two cousins and I were visiting from the USA, Canada, and London, and the food was truly filled with love. The dessert was amazing, and more than anything, the customer service was exceptional—warm, comforting, and deeply satisfying.

31/01/2026: Cameriere troppo insistente. Proporre al buio a nuovi clienti una serie di antipasti, senza aver idea del costo è una mossa per me troppo azzardata. Sicuramente è una scelta che paga al momento visto il conto. Bisogna chiedersi però se il cliente avrà voglia di tornare. Se la qualità dei prodotti è buona, senza dubbio lo è, non c'è bisogno di decantarla in questo modo. Questa è la mia opinione.

14/08/2025: I've been getting pizza here for years, and I find it excellent: a light dough that doesn't leave me feeling bloated, lots of flavors to choose from, and high-quality ingredients. I order pizza via the convenient app, and when I arrive, the wait time is just enough to take it out of the oven and pack it up—TOP. The friendliness, kindness, and professionalism of the entire staff round out my super positive review.

22/03/2026: It's not very inviting from the outside, but once you get to the restaurant, the service and food are excellent. The old building is fine, but a touch of renovation would make it even better. Excellent value for money.

16/11/2025: The place is fantastic, on the lake, and it smells of history. The AVAV sailing club was born here, and world-champion sailors have grown up here. After many changes in management, it now seems to have found its own dimension. Having attended an aperitif-lunch, I can't comment on the food yet. It's definitely perfect for aperitifs and parties. In the summer, it's lovely to... snuggle up on the terrace overlooking our lake, perhaps refreshed by the breeze coming down from the valleys.

15/11/2025: We ordered 5 pizzas and some fries. The pizzas were really good, with plenty of fresh ingredients. The fries were hot and crispy, not overly greasy. The price was fair and the staff was very friendly. They were punctual (we picked up at the time we requested) and the pizzas were freshly made for us. The owner even gave us a bottle of Coke. We'll definitely be back!

14/02/2026: Considering the average of Chinese restaurants in the area, I consider Perla d'Oriente to be among the best for the quality and quantity of the dishes, for the good quality/price ratio and for the kind and fast service!

14/02/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant. The atmosphere is refined. The "traditional" appetizers are truly heavy; both the pâtés, but especially the frittatine, which are essentially portions of savory pies. They're a bit clunky. The perch fillet was full of bones. Given the high price, I would have expected better quality. I don't recommend it.

23/11/2025: Excellent value for money, beautiful location next to the Renaissance Collegiate Church. We were greeted with old-world courtesy by the manager and his son.

20/10/2025: We went there on Sunday for lunch to celebrate my son's birthday with the family. Everything was perfect. Alberto had set tables both inside and outside, giving us plenty of choice. Given the beautiful day, we sat outside. We started with a selection of very good and generous appetizers, followed by an excellent first course and an equally excellent second course. It's a shame about the dessert; I couldn't finish it because I was so full. I recommend it to everyone. The only flaw is the garden; it could use a little more care, but it's most likely been somewhat ruined by the recent archaeological excavation campaign.

03/11/2025: €1.20 for a burnt coffee in a paper cup, at the counter, without a spoon or sugar that you have to find yourself on the tables. PS: It's very possible that the coffee doesn't come out right; it would be enough to keep an eye on it instead of worrying.

13/10/2025: The bread is truly "the bread of the past"... Extraordinarily gratifying! The tireless girls, who "fly" behind the counter, always smiling and understanding, to satisfy everyone's requests, carry out their tasks admirably, even putting in their own, to ensure customer satisfaction is truly at its maximum. Veronica is a girl who works without a second's respite and is very caring; for Halloween she set up a truly "magical" counter. Lina is always on the ball and she too, gifted with "wings on her feet", works tirelessly with empathy towards the customers. In short, waiting for your turn is actually a "social" and choreographic moment. It's impossible to think that the wait would be reduced if the girls were quicker. Truly top-notch staff and I hope that the work they do, in the way they do it, is appreciated and rewarded by the employer. Veronica even recognizes my phone number when I call to book... These are little "attentions" that are very appreciated.
