I came today (Sunday), drawn by the excellent reviews and the inviting appearance of the sandwiches. I was served a well-prepared, good-quality sandwich, but it was particularly large and I had trouble eating it. I then asked for a knife: one was provided, but it wasn't suitable for cutting the sandwich easily. I returned to the counter and politely asked if it was possible to cut it into quarters. The lady who answered me—I don't know if she was the owner or an employee—replied rather brusquely, "No, the sandwich can't be cut." I understand that there may be internal rules or procedures, but I believe that customer service also involves trying to understand their needs and, when possible, finding a solution. Especially since a few minutes later I saw another customer being handed a knife with a serrated blade, a sign that an alternative probably existed. In the end, I had to make do and divide the sandwich as best I could. There's nothing to complain about as to the product: the sandwich was good and the ingredients were high-quality. Unfortunately, I cannot express the same opinion on the service and attention given to the customer.

Quaint and extremely charming, simple yet meticulously maintained, I had the pleasure of having breakfast in this small yet grand establishment at the foot of the Borgo entrance. The lady who served us an excellent slice of apple pie was extremely kind and welcoming. Therefore, my personal experience is considered positive and highly recommended. 👍🏻

The name promises very well, I said to myself. Come in. Don't expect a super-super location, but the simplicity and essentiality of this place and its aromas, believe me, are worth much more. There's limited seating outside, and you'll even find cushions propped up against a low wall that will allow you to sit comfortably. The sandwiches the convivio offers are very tasty; I personally ate two and was still very tempted... If you're with friends, GO THERE, it's therapeutic!

The panini are generously sized, and made with good ingredients. If you’re looking for one of the best places around for a satisfying sandwich in a beautiful setting, this place is a must-visit.

It was our first time at this place, which serves sandwiches and polenta. They offer vegan, vegetarian, and cured meat options. We tried two sandwiches, both very filling, with a pleasantly crunchy bread. The polenta with taleggio and porcini mushrooms was also excellent, truly delicious; it just needed a pinch of salt to make it perfect. My favorite was the tart with strawberry compote. The owner made sure the compote was homemade, and you can taste the difference! The prices were fair, and the service was very fast.

We went to eat at Covivio today during the trip to the Sacred Mount of Varese.. the best sandwiches I've ever eaten.. very kind staff and a very nice atmosphere. Well done guys.
