16/09/2025: So, it was only 3:49 PM. After a nice motorcycle ride, we stopped here for a drink and a toastie... we were told by the rude waitress that the kitchen was closed... OK, I told my husband, and she heard it and slammed the glasses on the table in an annoyed and rude manner!

24/02/2026: Mediocre pizza, I got a plain Margherita with half of the mozzarella missing. The lady at the cashier was really arrogant. I definitely won't be back for more.

02/02/2026: Excellent food, attentive and friendly service, excellent value for money. The only small negative was that the first course was served a little cold. Highly recommended, however.

05/10/2025: The atmosphere was lovely, and the welcome was truly warm and friendly. The food, alas, was forgettable. The tourist menu costed €18 (there was nothing else) and consisted of: industrial polenta with a hint of gorgonzola, steak (?) barely 4 or 5 millimeters thick, inevitably served in an overcooked "shoe sole" version, a side of potatoes and peppers floating soullessly in a watery liquid that was perhaps meant to be the cooking juices. A fine place (are we sure?) for a passing worker's hasty lunch break. Absolutely unsuitable for a Sunday on the lake with the family.

14/11/2025: Beautiful place, very rustic, with authentic and well-cooked products. Perhaps the only drawback is accessibility, as the roads from Azzio through the Budelli di Primo district are very narrow. Definitely worth a visit. Congratulations!

06/09/2025: Great place, fantastic view, good food, friendly service, leave your car in town (10-15 minute walk), highly recommended!!! We'll be back.

18/02/2026: We're very sorry for the negative experience on Valentine's Day; it ruined our evening. The food was really poorly cooked, very greasy, almost inedible, and the fish was so bad we sent it back. It was our mistake for not reporting it. I wondered several times if I'd chosen the wrong restaurant, given that the other reviews were good and the photos were beautiful, with food prepared with love. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. We're very sorry, but it's right to point out this discrepancy between expectations and reality. The owner, despite being in a hurry, was very friendly and polite—the only positive note.

15/02/2026: Valentine's Day dinner with a tasting menu. Good value, decent service. A wonderful discovery! The rabbit was excellent! A small flaw for those who aren't from the lesser-known area. Highly recommended.

22/02/2026: A dull environment when the wrong people are there—I don't know, maybe it's my Abruzzese accent, who knows! Politeness is fundamental to me, so I can't say anything; maybe I'm dealing with very frustrated people. But when the right employees are around, I feel great, and they're always kind! Overall, a positive experience 😉

18/01/2026: Lunch with my wife: two risottos, good, €10; a chicken salad, good, €9. Prices are more than reasonable. However, we end up discovering a €4 cover charge per person and €3 coffee. The unpleasant feeling is that they're trying to recoup the "discount" on the food elsewhere. The service is slow and inattentive (we ordered two risottos and they didn't bring us cheese). Our table is located immediately next to the two 90° flights of stairs leading to the upper dining room: it's well known that hot air tends to rise (a physical phenomenon), so the table is in an uncomfortable and cold position. In the future, I'll look elsewhere.

21/12/2025: Extremely high bill for embarrassingly tasteless and quality-less dishes. Rude service and arrogant attitudes, as if the customer were a nuisance. One of the worst restaurant experiences: a complete waste of time and money. Avoid!

18/11/2025: The place is run by extremely friendly, kind, and welcoming people. The service is fast, the prices are very fair, and the food is more than good value for the money. The menu and some of the desserts are handcrafted and excellent. The owners put their heart and soul into their preparations, and it shows.

08/03/2026: I've lived in Saronno forever. I should start by saying that I often go to restaurants, even Michelin-starred ones, which is no coincidence. Yesterday I went to Principe di Savoia for lunch. Around 5 pm, on my way home, I remembered it was late and I wouldn't have had time to prepare baked potatoes for dinner at home, so I went to Galli for the first time in my life to buy them. 4 small trays of potatoes, huh? €35. I'm a little shocked, but I say, "Oh well, guys, they must be amazing." We're talking about potatoes, which in and of themselves are a humble dish. But I paid for both the potatoes and a magnum of Laurent Perrier wine. Total bill €135. The gold-plated potatoes, though, get a 5, guys, but €35 for four trays of potatoes is like armed robbery. Paradoxically, I paid more for them than the wine... I mean, at lunch at the Principe di Savoi, four dishes total, half a bottle of water and coffee, €250, but we're in an almost Michelin-starred restaurant... if I dine at the Galli, would I end up with this bill?! But beyond the price, one might say, "Okay, well, they must be crazy; no, they're also mediocre." I'll make them next time, if I plan ahead, because they'll definitely come out better and I'll also save €30.

21/12/2025: What can I say...one of Saronno's finest restaurants. Excellent for dinners with friends, business dinners, and romantic dinners. Delicious, top-quality dishes.

04/12/2025: Embarrassing bar at 2pm. You enter, the music is loud, the presentation is shabby, the bathroom doesn't comply with hygiene standards, the staff in the kitchen are sprawled out reading and chatting on their phones. You're a nuisance to come in... forget it, dear owner. It's a shame I filmed everything and for privacy reasons I can't publish it, so I'd let the public judge the nice photo of the guy sprawled out in the kitchen chatting... It's indefensible, a place that has no toilet seat and toilet paper, I want you to continue... Your bar is embarrassing...

10/03/2026: We visited this pizzeria on Saturday evening with friends and had a truly positive experience. We were looking for a place that everyone could enjoy, and we were very pleased. The availability of alternative doughs (whole wheat and gluten-free) was greatly appreciated. I also ordered a takeout pizza at the end of the evening. It's an excellent choice for a group dinner. Fair value for money, and friendly staff. We'll definitely be back!

10/03/2026: Very small place, strollers not welcome and terrible service. My friends and I spent an evening with wrong pizzas, one burnt, mine tasteless. There is nothing for the children, not even two baked potatoes and the Margherita with low-quality mozzarella. I got up about 3 times to get the right pizza because if you called the girls, being foreigners they didn't understand anything, so inconvenience for both of us. And they put additions on the receipt saying that I had requested it. For the first time I had a terrible experience, stomach ache and not even a discount for having us eat in installments... and we also paid €70 for two pizzas and a drink + a shared dessert... the only point in favor were the desserts. But never again.

28/08/2025: Very friendly service. We eat a sushi plate, a poke bowl and drunk a bubble tea. Everything was very fresh, good quality and ver good tasting. Price/quality, very good!

06/01/2026: A welcoming and spacious bar where you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast with friends, sipping a coffee, cappuccino, or hot chocolate accompanied by delicious freshly filled croissants. If you prefer an aperitivo, stop by after 5:00 PM and Luciano and his staff will be ready to satisfy your cravings. On warm, sunny days, you can also enjoy the outdoor terrace.

08/01/2026: We ordered online. The system allowed us to select an IPA beer, but when we arrived to pick it up, the IPA wasn't available. Having paid online, they offered us another beer. It would have been better to know when we ordered that the IPA wasn't available so we could have chosen whether or not to order the beer. The fries were few and poor.

01/12/2025: Aside from the truly delicious food, what amazed me was the passion they put into it, so if I could give ten stars, I would do it straight away. Well done, and above all, the staff is excellent.
