01/11/2025: Terrible experience. Excessively expensive for what's on offer. No vegetarian or gluten-free options. The appetizer was crappy. Side dishes were sparse and mostly potato-based. The steak was only seared. I asked for apple pie as per the menu, but was served a bland slice of Margherita cake, not even particularly fresh. I won't be returning.

12/10/2025: We had lunch with friends and were very pleased with the quality of the meat and the variety of the rich and refined menu, in keeping with the tradition of fine cuisine. The atmosphere is elegant, the staff impeccable, and the wine selection is excellent and carefully selected. Congratulations!

26/09/2025: It was a wonderful discovery and we'll definitely be back. We had the fabulous and incredibly fresh tartare as an appetizer, melting in your mouth. Then we moved on to the mushroom risotto for the first course, which was perfectly creamed. We then continued with a delicious and delicate sliced ​​steak accompanied by a mix of vegetables, which were also delicious. Finally, a dark chocolate cake served with vanilla ice cream and mouth-watering zabaglione. The staff was extremely kind and attentive. Thank you so much for the wonderful dinner. We'll definitely be back!!! Highly recommended.

13/10/2025: The only restaurant open on Mondays, at the top of the Sacro Monte di Varese, it offers traditional Lombard cuisine; in this season, I recommend trying their polenta, paired with wild boar, gorgonzola, or mushrooms. The blueberry tart is also very good.

24/10/2025: A great place for breakfast, lunch breaks, small parties, or aperitifs. My wife and friends often come here, and many other people in the area speak highly of it, including the owners of other nearby bars, tobacconist, and bar Sjg. Alessandro, too, and the employees of the nearby Rupos Molina store, who sometimes come here for small co-worker parties, such as retirement parties. Reservations are recommended for small parties. The only downside is the limited outdoor parking spaces nearby, and even though they're reserved for condominium owners and shop customers like me, even if you find a free space, you often run into a man who works at the nearby photocopying center, who often claims the parking area as his own. Yesterday, too, while he was preoccupied with other thoughts, he was walking down from his car just a few meters from a free space, a ridiculous scene. To avoid the usual arguments with the same pushy person, I spoke to him amicably, then entered his shop, telling him I'd give him my regular bar spot and that I'd park further ahead, as I wasn't in a hurry. I returned to my car, and he followed me to give him my spot. The owner of this bar also saw everything and, apologetically, tried to accommodate this inconvenience as well as for her other customers. What can I say? This is the only flaw of this family-run establishment (husband and wife). Otherwise, it's a truly lovely place, recommended to everyone, young and old, families, and couples, with everything at great prices. 01/11/2025: The staff is welcoming, just the right amount of staff, and the menu, though currently limited, is good, well-presented, and very tasty. The atmosphere is cozy, rustic, and tastefully decorated, immersing you in the atmosphere of the stables from the moment you walk into the dining room. I recommend it for a tasty meal, made with excellent ingredients, in a rustic, welcoming atmosphere. I would gladly return.

30/10/2025: Very rustic atmosphere, quite comfortable, there is no crowd 'between the tables', even the noise of the people was acceptable, for the food, for what we ate (cold cuts-cheese platter and grilled meat) - very good, also the house wine good, only flaw, but not important, a bit too long between one course and the other, anyway I recommend it

22/11/2025: Excellent food, helpful and friendly waiters, the restaurant is small, with two rooms: one very small with two tables and the other slightly larger with seven. You can chat very comfortably, but there's an outdoor area that's only used in the summer. I think they could join the two together to make it larger. Also, that's not a great thing because as soon as you open the door to go from one room to the other, a bit of a breeze comes in. I had a good time, but I didn't feel cold.

09/10/2025: I had a truly wonderful stay! The two hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming – their hospitality made me feel right at home from the very beginning. Everything I needed was provided, and the place was perfectly equipped for a comfortable and relaxing visit. I couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended – I would definitely come back!

22/08/2025: The property is very welcoming, just a few minutes from the airport (so convenient), although arriving late at around 11:00 PM was a bit dark... instructions were given to us by text message. Breakfast was already in the room (pastries, rusks, butter, jam (single-use boxes), just 2 slices of toast (which couldn't be reheated), 2 fruit juices, 2 small bottles of water, and coffee). The room is equipped with a coffee machine, refrigerator, fan, and air conditioning. Despite being a tavern, we had no contact with the owner except via text messages. Having paid online, the invoice was in the room. Everything was functional and suited to our needs... but unfortunately, also a bit impersonal... in the sense that it avoids contact with people... perhaps the thing that, besides the decor, is the breakfast items, is what really sticks in your mind about a place... but mine is just an opinion... anyway, recommended.
