01/11/2025: I tried this restaurant for a family lunch on a Sunday, and my feedback was overwhelmingly positive. It's a welcoming place with plenty of seating, traditional decor, and intense aromas as soon as you enter. The flavorful dishes and spicy cuisine are delicious. The owner recommended the tasting menu, and we were able to try most of the dishes. The appetizers were delicious, along with the meat, which I found incredibly tender. The desserts, and the different pairings with the hummus were very popular.
I'd just recommend a little more smile from the staff and a little more attention in general, but otherwise it was a great experience that I've already recommended to friends.

05/10/2025: The crust was tough. We waited an hour to get in. Great atmosphere and vibes obviously loved by locals wich is a good sign. Not sure what to make of the glamor shots of his ladies working for him.

02/11/2025: We had dinner here this evening with 6 people. The food and service was fantastic. I was also happy with the pacing of the food. The time between the apps, salad and entrees was just right even though we ordered everything at once.
My only complaint was that we were only presented their extensive specials menu. Their website also shows a dinner menu, but we never saw it. I'm not sure if it's still available. At first some in our party were concerned, but everyone found something they loved.

buono ma servito senza una sosta tra una portata e l'altra. Abbiamo sofferto tantissimo il caldo asfissiante e l'acqua servita era sempre calda...
16/06/2025: Pranzo di domenica 15/06. Festa compleanno in 12 tutti strasoddisfatti della qualità del menù fisso (non c’è menù alla carta). Classica proposta Pavese ma qualitativamente sorprendente. Prezzo veramente ottimo e veramente tutto compreso anche vini in bottiglia di loro produzione “senza contare le bottiglie portate…”
Tra l’altro ci hanno cambiato tavolo al
volo per metterci in una sala dove c’era aria condizionata risolvendoci un problema sorto all’ultimo, veramente gentilissimi.
Ambiente carinissimo tra tavoli esterni e interni in varie sale e salette, adatto a chiunque voglia condividere il convivio un po’ chiassoso ed allegro
Tutto gestito in vero ambiente famigliare.

The food was of very high quality, excellently cooked, and the prices reflected the quality.
The only downside was the slightly dated decor, but it's such a pleasure to have lunch here regularly.
11/08/2025: The service and food were excellent. We shared the veal with tuna sauce appetizer, and then both chose the agnolotti del plin for our main course. Nothing to complain about the food or service, the friendly staff, and the clean restaurant, although I would have preferred to eat in an air-conditioned room rather than outside given the heat. Overall, a bit pricey, but recommended.
