10/01/2026: The antique oven that stands at the entrance is striking and very distinctive. Otherwise, the atmosphere feels a bit cold, even though it could be more welcoming. On the contrary, the risotto is a warm treat on these cold winter days, although, to be honest, despite the excellent quality of the ingredients, it's a bit uneven.

23/12/2025: Everything was impeccable: food and service. The only flaw was too much noise, the fault of a couple of customers at the next table with a loud, shrill tone of voice, but unfortunately that can happen. Otherwise, everything was fine, thanks for the evening.

14/03/2026: The focaccia is delicious. The farinata in particular is crispy yet soft on the inside, and the savory pies are each more delicious than the last. There are also specialty pastas like testaroli, which are delicious with their pesto. The food is equally delicious!

27/04/2026: A nice pizzeria with a Neapolitan feel. We were passing through and stopped in, finding the service friendly and fairly quick. The prices are fair, and the pizza is good, though not strictly Neapolitan.

01/06/2026: Rudeness and no parking, I didn't even eat. The "welcome" was enough to make me leave. I was greeted with a "There's no room and I don't know when there will be one" and not even a good morning.

01/06/2026: Acceptable food, but truly POOR service. We waited over an hour for five dishes, and some even arrived cold. Despite our constant requests, no change was made. The waiters wandered around the FULL dining room with only one dish in hand, which they would then leave at the wrong table. I wouldn't go back to them even if they offered me lunch.

19/03/2026: Highly recommended, this trattoria near Pavia! The cuisine is excellent, featuring seasonal dishes. The menu isn't extensive, as it's used as a refreshment point for employees of nearby companies. The service is very fast, so I recommend making a reservation!

More than just a simple hotel and restaurant, it is, as proudly proclaimed on its business card, a true inn, offering a warm, welcoming, and pleasantly retro yet always authentic atmosphere. Its clientele is testament to this: locals, hikers, and travelers mingle effortlessly, creating a lively and authentic atmosphere. The dining areas are spacious and well-organized, while the four simply furnished rooms are comfortable, dignified, and functional, perfect for both a short stay and a base for exploring the area's numerous trails. The cuisine is one of its strengths: solid, regional, and deeply rooted in tradition. Its location, on the border between Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna, is also reflected in its cured meats, including coppa and pancetta Piacentine alongside salami from Varzi. Among the must-try dishes are the tagliolini with wild boar ragù, the veal with tuna sauce, and the pork ribs, so tender and well-cooked you can enjoy them without even using a knife. The service harks back to the tradition of old-time inns, with dishes served by the tray and a willingness to serve, which contributes to an even more convivial experience. The wine list is simple but adequate. The rooms are also a significant added value: they allow you to fully enjoy your dinner without worries, considering that Brallo is about forty kilometers of Apennine roads from the nearest towns. Overall, a highly recommended place, one to return to several times during the season.

29/03/2026: We arrived by motorbike without a reservation and the place was completely full. Despite this, the (very kind) staff found us a spot and treated us wonderfully. Excellent food at a very fair price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!
