03/04/2024: We booked this hotel through the Hilton App. It was advertised as having a pool, but on arrival, there is no pool. This was the #1 thing we were looking for for our kids. We asked if we could transfer our reservation to another Hilton hotel, and they couldn't do it. We also used points but were told they wouldn't be able to get the points back to us in time to make a new reservation elsewhere (within 24 hours). So we ate it and kept our booking. Unfortunately, not having a pool changed how our entire stay went because we had to leave the hotel instead of just going to the pool. Its apring break and we were just planning to stay in and swim. We ended up having to board our dogs because we didn't want to leave them in the room when we had to leave for extended periods of time. This added another $300 to our stay. The second night of our stay, my husband fell in the shower and hit his head and his shin causing bruising and a goose egg. When we told the front desk, they informed us that we were supposed to shower with a towel in the bottom of the shower to avoid the slippery bottom. I'm not sure when this became the norm, but I have never showered with a towel in the base of the bathtub. They then handed my husband a couple of towels to use for the shower. We most definitely will not be coming back to this place. They more than doubled the cost of our stay, false advertised, and blamed us for my husband getting hurt.
