20/06/2025: Great Discovery: The Older Tower between taste and versatility! I had lunch at The Older Tower and I must say it was a pleasant surprise! The environment is very welcoming and well-kept, suitable for both a quick lunch and for more quiet occasions. I was struck by its versatility: you immediately understand that it is a place where you can stop for breakfast/ lunch/ dinner, an aperitif or even to celebrate events. As for the food, I started with a delicious pasta alla Trapanese: the flavor was authentic and the ingredients fresh, a truly excellent dish. For the second course, I chose the lemon chicken, and it was simply exquisite! Soft, tasty and with a perfect lemon scent, definitely worth trying. The service was courteous and attentive, the staff was always helpful and smiling. The quality-price ratio is excellent, considering the quality of the dishes and the pleasant environment. I highly recommend The Older Tower to those looking for a versatile place to eat well, both for a quick lunch and for a special occasion. I will definitely come back to try breakfast or an aperitif!

25/05/2025: Abbiamo festeggiato oggi la prima comunione di mia figlia ed è stato tutto perfetto. I titolari sono stati molto disponibili, il personale gentile, il cibo ottimo (come sempre) e il servizio nei tempi giusti. Prezzo concorrenziale. Purtroppo eravamo troppo impegnati a mangiare per fare foto ai piatti. Consigliatissimo!

12/06/2025: Cucina principalmente di pesce, piatti ottimi e abbondanti. I prezzi sono onesti, la location comoda. Vale la pena provarlo, e poi ci si ritorna sempre volentieri.

21/05/2025: Lunch with wife after visiting the Botanical Garden, the place was sold out but despite this, the service was punctual and friendly. We chose seafood spaghetti, fried calamari with chips and Mediterranean swordfish, all decidedly good, the pastiera was excellent.

03/02/2025: Locale ampio, pulito, molto curato e dallo stile "rustico". Personale sempre veloce, gentile e disponibile. La cucina è impeccabile e la qualità dei pasti giustifica a pieno il prezzo che si paga. Ogni piatto ha una sua identità e una sua storia, che sia un primo o un secondo, di terra o di mare, o che si tratti della loro "carnazza", lo chef sarà sempre felice di raccontarvi e anticiparvi cosa starete per assaporare. Consigliatissima anche la pizza se si vuole andare più sul semplice.

01/03/2025: Excellent quality takeaway pizzeria. Pizzas for all tastes are available, even with wholemeal dough. The fried foods and desserts (which are not on display) are very good but just ask. The prices are truly within everyone's reach. I recommend it.

04/05/2025: What can I say, everything was very nice and the food was of excellent quality. Rather elegant place with decor that instantly transports you to Japan, very clean (even the toilet is perfect) smiling and discreet but always present staff. The raw material is of the highest quality (salmon, for example, it is difficult to see the fat filament between the muscle fibers). The dimensions of the sashimi cuts are by the book. The rice cooking is excellent.

30/03/2025: We returned after some time to this restaurant that has been present in the city for years. The formula, as always, is à la carte. We opted to dine at the counter. Without prejudice to the quality of the food and the courtesy of the staff, we immediately noticed a strong smell of fish mixed with stagnant water. Perhaps it was due to the fact that being at the counter, we were facing the fridge display with its air circulation fan, but the feeling of bad odor accompanied us throughout the dinner, in fact we skipped dessert in order to be able to leave earlier, something that had never happened in the past despite having dined in the same position. Maybe it would be worth having the staff try to sit in the same spot and check the problem.

08/07/2025: Good and attentive cook Laura (don't miss trying the mushroom gnocchi!! and the truly "homemade" desserts), applause to the good owner Piercarlo and compliments to the scion Serena who puts everyone at ease. Some rooms are a bit sacrificed, but all tidy and clean. Very accessible prices less than a km from Brallo di Pergola. It's worth going there even for a "getaway" out of town. A two-star...luxury!!
