We ordered a pizza, well-topped, but the crust was too thin and dry.
Checking the bill, which seemed a bit pricey, we realized that a small beer 🍺 cost €4.50... and the pizzas were around €10...
I'll leave your thoughts... we don't think we'll be back for another lunch.

The food was more than excellent: pasta with clams and an appetizer (pasta) were both very good.

14/09/2025: Really nice place, professional and very kind staff, fantastic pizzas... the only downside was that we ended up near the kids' area... we had to escape because it was too noisy.
It's a shame because we would have been there for a dessert and a liqueur... next time we'll remember to book a table away from the kids' area.
24/08/2025: Extremely slow service. The pizzas didn't arrive, we asked, and they didn't let us know. The place was very noisy, and some tables were even close to the kids' area, which didn't help. The food was very greasy and hard to digest. We were still sick the next day.

30/09/2025: I don't know how many times I've been to Barbesina over the years, through my work. I've photographed many weddings, baptisms, and parties, and I know the place very well. Surrounded by nature, with a staff that I'd say is nothing short of exceptional. Helpful, kind, and top-notch, as was the food.

09/11/2025: Excellent Chinese restaurant near the Pavia train station. I stumbled upon it by chance, but I was completely satisfied! The staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, with generous portions and truly amazing prices. A vast selection of appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts—you're truly spoiled for choice. I've never seen such a wide-ranging menu. It's a must-try.
I had egg rolls, various types of ravioli, bao buns, Chinese flatbread, Cantonese rice, and even roast duck. Everything was delicious. At the end of the dinner, the very kind owner even offered us coffee—a truly wonderful discovery! We'll definitely be back.
